Thank you very much for the little clarifying segments in this video by the way, Marcus, especially the first one after the first video and the longer one after the big climactic video. It was REALLY helpful because I was SUPER lost after both lol.
That symbol shown in the cave is not hieroglyphics. It's actually the leviathans cross. It has roots in alchemy and represents sulfur. It is used to warn of evil or demons.
huh i think your right and my mind remind that 2009, john who died for being stuck trying get out with rescue rescue in nutty putty, for now the cave was sealed and john died terrifying
So I just had this thought, about 11 or so minutes in, as Marcus described “Ted and B” and my first thought was “Dude…it’s Bill and Ted’s excellent cave dive!”
Yoo thankyou so much for covering my work, been enjoying your content a lot while I write the next series. You are a legend and I cannot express that enough!
you were so committed to the source material that you even had the same type of dog with you. You're a legend, man. I can't wait to see what comes next. 💜
Dude, you are AMAZING. I just found this whole thing but I'm definetly subscribed. Keep up the great work man, I wanna watch a whole movie of yours someday.
You're really good at set design/choosing, as well as getting the dialogue and acting to feel legit, especially during the beginning sections where it's more informational. I can't wait to see what you work on next!
A big thing that I noticed was that many people think that a rock landed on his head when he was in the secret room. But in reality he got scared from the noise, jumped, hit his head. And severely hurt his head causing spine damage and nerve damage which resulted in insane pain. A large reason why he had difficulty running/escaping.
Yeah in original creepypasta, it says that the helmet protected his head but his neck was "nearly numb from the impact" and it also mentions severe back pain. So his spine took the impact. Though in the video he keeps saying "Oh my head," so I guess they either forgot or changed it.
I use this rule with anything 😭 I have one dog and three cats, when they get creeped out by something/someone I take that as a sign 😅 Edit: Update it’s now one dog and four cats. Three out of those four were strays so they especially have that rule with me lol
I think the cave they break into, at least based on the video interpretation, is the underworld. As at the end of "Going Back" Ted says something about the afterlife is a cave, to quote exactly "If I am ever to leave the world and enter the cave. I must now return." They entered the underworld, something mortals aren't supposed to do plus spilling blood there, and got marked for death. It calls them back to the cave as they need to die now. It's sad but must happen. B didn't actually enter the underworld just the entrance which is why while he's still a bit messed up generally okay.
Yeah whenevwr a creepypasta has stairs going down I just think oh that's a stairway to hell the stairs could never come up again and I would still think they are a stairway to hell
That does make a lot of sense, specially because when Ted comes back from the hole, B says: "welcome back to the world of the living" which could be taken literally.
Meanwhile, there's a parallel story of two mole people who keep hearing scratching in the cave behind the door rock, and they have to defend it against these weird alien people
@thecraftergaming4797 Can't remember the name but there is a story like this out of north carolina, by bed time stories it's a slow animation, analog / fpf with real time reading
I haven't seen anyone comment on this yet but Marcus' dad being heard saying "Goodnight son" and him replying "Goodnight dad" is just so wholesome and cute, truly warmed my heart. It's always nice to see the people we look up to and immortalize, no pun there, acting so human and reminding us that they are people too. I wasn't subscribed before but I definitely am now.
As someone who’s caved before, I completely understand why he would take a moment to turn of the light and just sit there. It’s such a strange but amazing feeling- Completely dark, cold, and quiet. It’s the closest I’ll ever get to floating in space, and I wish it was easier to experience. If you can, I 100% recommend going on a cave tour and asking if they do a lights out section. You wont regret it, and even if you do at the moment, it’s a first experience you can never replace
Recently got to do a tour of the Cumberland Caverns. I can second this. It's just so surreal and off-putting, but also strangely comforting. It's pretty much the darkest possible dark you can ever experience. Over a short while your brain adjusts and you can very vaguely make out yoYu hand if you move it.
Im terrified of the dark, however at cumberland caverns im pretty sure it was? They had a lights-out section and all i felt was wonder. There was some fear of course, bur i didnt feel like i normally did. There was a calm in the quiet and the dark that ive never felt before or since. Id do it again too, just waiting for a chance to go on some more cave tours!
Did spelunking as a middle schooler as a Girl Scout camp thing. An hour or so into our cave, our flashlight batteries started to die and our guide didn’t bother to tell us to bring extras or packed extras themselves. It became a race against time to find a way out before our batteries died and we were stuck in the dark. Ended up having to crawl through a gap about a foot/foot and a half wide through sulfurous smelling mud that we sunk in as we crawled. It was EXHILARATING!!!
Johnny Cash was actually an amateur spelunker in addition to all of the other things he's known for, and during a dark time in his life he went into an unexplored cave system in Tennessee (not intending to come out). After his light died according to him he heard God tell him not to give up and in pitch blackness he found his way back to the entrance where his family had been searching and obviously made his faith stronger. Just a cool Johnny Cash fact involving caves with a happy ending in case anyone needs it lol
God is a funny guy, ain't he? Babies throughout all of time have died prematurely due to complications out of their parents control, in the womb or shortly after being delivered, millions are born, live a miserable life in Africa and die young due to its terrible living conditions all around, and many other people suffer and die constantly like that because of circunstances they can't control at all... But some rando' amateur spelunker? Now THAT'S a guy worthy of being saved by God! How loving and merciful he is!!! (also ignore all other cavers who went through way worse than Johnny boy but God was asleep on the wheel at the time, it's inconvenient to the message)
@@ravaniphoenix5431 You really just, have no idea about anything when it comes to God, aren't you? Everything here just screams reddit atheist, and someone whose never processed anything about the bible or any kind of faith. I'm not even a Christian and the nonsense here is just, hilarious. On top of that, congrats on being an asshole and turning an amazing story into just a stupid tirade about your prissy childish bullshit.
@@FormalShadow Because of arbitrary rules and rationalization outta personal feeling projected onto god. There's absolutely no reason why an all-loving god would help a random caver, rather than babies/children, unless you do all sorts of mental gymnastics, like trying to convince yourself that, somehow, all of these babies and children would grow up to be horrible people that would only make the world worse, since god is all-knowing, so he has foreknowledge of people's future. But then that notion that he's got infinite precognition opens up a whole can of worms, such as the question of free will as, for god to be all-knowing in that sense, the future would have to be absolute, meaning we'd be bound by what's pre-destined to happen, meaning free will ain't really a thing. Amongst other things you could question from this infinite precognition thing in relation to god. So now you've gotta lower the bar and make god seem less impressive, by reducing his omniscience to just the present, which then nullifies your rationalization that the babies and children would grow up to be terrible people that make the world worse, thus god made them die early. Now you've gotta find something more vague to measure why prioritize a caver that already had a built life up to that point of peril, over innocent babies/children that don't get to actually experience what life has to offer due to premature death, or living for a few years in a terrible place in the world, where the suffering is prolonged, yet there's no reward, only a delayed waste of life. I could go on, really. Like how you'll most likely bring up original sin, to say we're all stinky fallen people from birth who deserve nothing but misery, but god's mercy allows us for a chance of salvation through his son, which I'd reply by saying that's a rigged game where god's still the one to blame, since he could've punished Adam & Eve alone, instead of cursing the entirety of our race forever, because somehow Adam & Eve were our representatives (the we didn't choose or ever met, so have nothing to do with besides our race) and that justifies a punishment of this degree, as they were an avatar for humanity, so humanity is punished, and bla, bla, bla. But that's only if I humor the idea that this story is actually history, and not just some story put in a book for whatever purpose, that's supposed to be metaphorical (as taking it literally would have you in need of believing in Young Earth theory, that men can be created from dirt/clay, women from men's ribs, snakes could talk and had legs before the one that messed with Adam & Eve ruined it for every snake, that different languages arrived from the Tower of Babel event, where god scrambled around the original, universal language we spoke, amongst other things). Anyway, what was this conversation originally about? :v
What I think makes Ted the Caver good is that it doesn’t show/tells us what the thing in Floyd’s Tomb is/what it looks like, making us think about what it is, which makes it a whole lot scarier
i really love it from the standpoint of it being better for the experience, but i kinda just have to describe what i think it looks like to myself since i physically can't picture things in my head. series like this really make me wish i could though
@@DefinitelyNotDie True, but they also fear plenty of things they do understand. A suspicious shape in the dark is no less scary if it suddenly charges out into the light with the intent to do harm; it's a different kind of fear, but it is still fear.
I just gotta say that this actually got my heart pumping because the fact that it looks so realistic and the thought of getting Stuck in a cave in general is more scary than every horror movie, because you can tell horror movies like it are fake because it’s doesn’t seem realistic, but doing like the whole hidden footage thing is just freaky, like if I didn’t know this was all fake, I probably would’ve believed it
Ted and B essentially turned into squealing piglets toward the end of entry 9, but it still encapsulated the sheer terror of a situation like that. Excellent coverage of this horror media gem 🎉
IF someone was to remake all the old original creepy pastas we want this much love to be mixed into the creation. I got the chills like when I first read the creepy pasta, I almost didn’t finish watching it. Which is why I love it
Agree. My Pasta guy for over 10 years has only been posting hours long repeats. I don't get it. Premium content for a decade now this. Just sad. My #1 is Penpal. If anyone's familiar
I love the cliff hanger ending so much, in both the creepy pasta and the videos, because there are so many unanswered questions, what is the creature?, what did Joe see? What happened after they went back? We get nothing, and its genius
My theoretical answers to those three questions: - Joe saw the creature (maybe it had some influence on him like It did to lure them all back down) - The creature is some demon/something supernatural (apparently it was also worshiped as the hieroglyph showed) - Ted, B and Joe died after making their return (the creature was hostile so it’s a guarantee that it would kill them)
@@UnreliableArsonist however when ted is in his room snd he goes outside, when he goes down the stairs you can see a glimpse of what i assume is the creature moving towards him
41:40 throughout this video, ted runs out of breath alot, now this obviously could be because of all the exercises hes doing, but i think that this cave has way less air circulation and air flow than outside, because it is way deeper in the ground, which is why ted runs out of breath so much. (EDIT: i know that theres air, but think about it, ted and the others are deep down where there is air, but there isnt alot, which means the deeper they go, the less air they get, causing shortness of breath, someone corrected me and i thank you for correcting my mistake!! ❤)
@@Jaso-uk4heit's the creature inside of the cave breathing. Or rather, snoring. Each of the breezes are described as a rumbling, the rumbling stops after they start using their louder instruments to break open the entrance (waking the creature up), and the breeze always stopped with it. We can get another hint towards it when the rumbling stops and is instead replaced with a momentary scream. Then there's no breeze to be felt.
I remember (I think) if there's wind then it would mean that it's a cave opening towards outside. I'd say it was given from the start, cause why would there be any wind?
Air circulates throughout a cave. The air pressure on the surface is a lot higher than the low pressure air in the cave, so air circulates moving the low pressure stuff out and the high pressure stuff in. The wind they hear is the low pressure air circulating out
I absolutely love how TERRIFYING Ted’s panic actually sounds. This man sounds like how I would sound, he’s crying, scared, but he’s still trying to stay tf alive. Piglets
Genuinely that part was SO hard to listen to. It was such genuinely good acting my chest started getting tight and my body started to react like I was going into a panic attack.
I went cave exploring for the first time in a small formation in my country. The guide was cool, and he told us how he used to make his first-time explorers watch The Descent the day before they went into the caves. Funny guy.
I dont think I've felt fear like this for a fictional story before. Like genuinely I felt horrible watching him run while the camera was dark, jesus christ this is haunting, amazing acting (piglet)
Honestly my first thought when I heard the “scream” was that the entity was doing what I often do: doing a dramatic imitation of a noise. To me it followed the drilling noise and had a similar quality.
My interpretation is that B stayed on the side he usually does but Joe and Ted go through and Joe and Ted die to whatever is there and the camera was lost or destroyed by whatever is in there while B heard the screams and he narrowly escaped
@@Jaso-uk4he Sometimes you have the "chance" for the soundwaves to bounce and trace all the way back to the entrance, and sometimes you don't have that much luck and the soundwaves hits bodies of water, moss or even just bounce back onto you and die down... Having made explosives went off inside caves that were tunneling deep and pretty much in every direction, making the soil unstable (to make them collapse and make the ground a bit more stable by filling hollow bodies) I can assure you that sometimes you don't hear them go off, you just feel the wind and see the dust come out... Scary shit, cave diving ain't my thing for the sole fact that sound sometimes don't make it to the surface...
idk if its relevant but the heiroglyph had three ppl with two being on side looking at it and one on the other side which could probably point to ted and joe having seen the creature and b not having seen it at all
piglets. One of the very first creepypastas I genuinely enjoyed. I really love horror where they leave it up to you what's happening exactly. Such a good story and the video series was just *chefs kiss*
I usually put these videos in the corner of my screen to play a game while I listen but this series took my full attention and I couldn't multitask with how on edge I was with it. (great content! keep up the good work)
i love this guy’s acting. Everyone in this video is an amazing actor. I think they all deserve praise. When Ted was panicking in Floyd’s Tomb, it was like a piglet running from a slaughter. It was great.
At 35:06, when Marcus asked why someone would just turn the lights off in a cave, I’ve been in a cave once before and got to do this and I found that it was very peaceful and relaxing just sitting there in the darkness as did the other people there with me. Hopefully others that have done the same can agree
Has there even been a time when exploring a cave it feels uncomfortable I know this sounds like a horror cliché I don’t mean like something is in the cave with you but more like a gut feeling?
@@ashtonsmith2922 I'm not a caver, but I'd expect that feeling if I did ever go caving, solely because of the reason that you can feel that type of feeling just from turning off the lights in your house at night and going back to your room
Watching analog horror makes the artsy part of my brain start shaking the bars of its enclosure, I wanna make my own series so badly but I physically can't GRHGHGHFGGHGHGFGFGFGG Update: Screw it, I'm gonna try, wish me luck since I don't know how this is gonna go, lets hope I can stick it out
Marcus, I’ve seen you GROW MASSIVELY over this past year. I’m super proud of this and I’m happy you’re still doing this. Keep up the work, the improvement is insane especially since your older content is STILL awesome.
I feel like his friend during the drilling hearing the noises maybe as he was drilling he saw something on the other side that put him into a trance and got him shook 1:01:27 (I haven’t seen all of it yet)
The ambience of this one is something else. You can feel terror in the darkness and I was fully expecting something to grab onto Ted when the light was out as a call back to the beginning where he said "You can feel it before you see it." I think the best part though was the thing with the piglets, absolutely INSANE.
19:00 If you've read the original creepypasta, you know exactly what that sound is. Oh man, SUCH good foreshadowing. It's so subtle, but you feel a chill down your spine once you realize what it is.
I just realized something: Floyd’s Tomb is a reference to a caver named Floyd Colin’s. He was exploring Sand Cave when he got stuck, and died over 200 hours later, in the cave, where is body remained on display until the 1960, (I think). Edit: goddamit
what i like with project with low budget, it’s that there’s some form of authenticity somehow? idk how to explain, but the fact that we can’t see anything on most scenes and that we can only rely on the sound we hear let’s our brain imagine the action by itself, which adds a lot to a stress factor in a lot of horror movie/series, i’ve studied in cinema and our teacher often said ‘imagination is way scarier then seeing the actual thing because of the uncertainty’ which is well executed in this one by a work of sound design and the great performance of the actors! tbh, those type of projects always gets me because it shows that sometimes you don’t need to make your projects super complicated for it to work, as long as you know how to portray it, it will do it’s job well and gets the idea across! (sorry for rambling about this lol, i just wanted to show how cool low budget projects can be when made well with a lot of care, which i’m sure is the case for this series)
"It couldn't a wendigo". Literally everything in the creepypasta describes a wendigo. The smell, living in a cave, large objects being moved, the bare footsteps, and of course the sounds. Due to the heavy decay on a "wendigo's" eyes it pretty much has to see through echolocation. Which is why they scream so much. Also the "wendigo" has an ability to sort of mentally torture people through the "uncanny valley effect". Which can be transmitted through sight, smell, and touch.
I saw that someone else mentioned that this is credited as the first creepypasta, but I actually saw Papameat's video on this the other day. Ted mentioned in an interview that he made the blog about him and B spelunking as a prank on his family. Lmao, what a Legend.
I think it’s supposed to be some ancient eldritch being that they awoken. That explains the hieroglyphs and the strange stairs that go deeper into the earth. Plus the story really feels like Lovecraftian horror
Isn’t there a shorter story of his that’s a lot like this? I remember reading one about a man in a dark cave finding some unknown ‘something’ while he was in there
@2:07:17 this was honestly so good, it's a pet peeve of mine that in so many other found footage things, people who _supposedly_ are just random dudes with on actual camera experience, in various situation in which an average person would absolutely not care about the camera still manage to get surprisingly good recordings, I do think I saw some piglets there tho
That intro was literally giving me chills, and when Marcus said 'Ted' my fucking vent by my chair starting making scary noises and made me jump a little
I had something similar when Ted was like "Alright I'm going to climb in to Floyd's Crypt now" it thundered outside my apartment immediately, it was FLAWLESS timing.
I actually overnighted in a cave a few years back. It's a commercial thing so it's safe, so we set up camp and slept overnight, then explored the cave during the day. It was super fun I'd do it again.
You know, I think I'm kinda on team monster, here. He's not a bad dude, he's just fed up. If two jerks came into your house and started making deafening noise all night, every night, FOR MONTHS, you'd wanna merk 'em, too.
I went to find his channel as soon as he popped up on Wendigoons live a few months back. I think there was only 3-4 videos up at the time, so few subs and only a few more views. I watched them a was like ooooo cool someone turning such an iconic creepypasta into an analogue horror, super 👌. I subscribed right away and I think I've even left a comment on every video pretending that it's real 😅😂. Its awesome how well his channel has done and it awesome so many people have found it and really enjoy it, he's done a great job and I can't wait to see what he does next. I think the name if the channel has changed now, I think it was called Ted's Caving Adventure, but as he's planning on doing more it's got a new name. But I'm not 100% on that, I'm awful with names. Thanks for covering this ❤.
Funniest bit of info about this is the story of Ted the caver was actually a prank he pulled on his family and friends that managed to escape that bubble and spread. Piglets
Cool thing from earlier on in the video. Yes cavers always should have more than one light source, along with someone who knows where you will be. If all your light runs out then you are stuck and will have to feel your way out. That gets really tricky though in larger caves with multiple tunnels. It can also cause you to accidentally go deeper into the cave. So if anyone wants to go caving the main rules, always have someone know where you are, bring multiple lights, be safe and think things through, tred lightly, don't do things that is risky and will hurt you.
I can't help it, the hieroglyphics to me look like a bunch of people surrounding a person standing on a square platform with something behind them. I can't tell what that thing behind them is, sadly, but my first thought was that this was maybe depicting a sacrifice? Maybe whatever this thing is was once kept at peace by being given sacrifices, but then it was somehow sealed away and left alone until Ted, B and Joe came and opened a new entrance perhaps? I don't know, not that great at theories, but I definitely see a person in that big hieroglyphic.
The live was so much fun Marcus, can't wait to see how the editing will make the full video unique! Also here's a game recommedation: Error: Save file is Abandoned
this has to be my second favorite analog horror. It’s so creepy and so well done. The fact that you don’t even need to watch it cuz just hearing it is terrifying enough. Also great video piglets my man
First off there first mistake was not lighting the place up, if you can spend months Working on a Cave then You can Afford a mile or Two of Extension Cord Or Some kind of High Powered wireless Light, Second if if you think there's something Down There The UV Light Would most likely Hurt The Creature if not Ward it away, Third and Final Action bring a high powered hunting Airgun.
First off, great intro. Second, I dunno why, but I’d love to see Marcus do exploring abandoned buildings videos, since he said that he used to explore abandoned places. By the way, I love your videos!
so excited to watch this!! been waiting for this since it was a members only stream. thank you for all your hard work, marcus. it’s greatly appreciated!! :D
I think there are ghosts AND a creature. It would make a lot of sense. They probably drew on the walls and made staircases, they are either dead or still thriving underneath the ground. and they probably worship something ancient and powerful, that’s why they are down there in the first place. the big creature creaks and rumbles and maybe is the cave, crying in pain when they break its “bones” or skin. I mean caves have veins and arteries running through them, gaping mouths, maybe it’s something like the mystery flesh pit
I Want To Recommend A Analog Horror Known As "The Spider" it was made by JustPreston.its a spider-man based analog horror with nit many plot twists but it is 100% worth checking out. The analog horror has a total of 15 parts and thats all. The story is almost the same Peter Parker Gets Biten By the radioactive spider and was mutated to become a spider man but ends up turning him into a spider and man mix. And this also takes place in the 1960's woth a few well known spiderman villains. (Also don't get this confused with the Spider-Man horror film)(Now i must also note its not the best of quality. Its like the batman analog horror but its a bit lacklustyer in quality for the first few parts. But the rest is gold)
I was caving with my dad and his friend when I was 12.. I think way too many people have this tendency to exaggerate and be alarmist about everything.. the cave we went in, once you were past the literal first chamber.. it was complete and total pitch darkness. Like most caves. And to get through all of it, which was a couple miles in total, you had to use rope to climb up or lower down into areas that would kill you if you fell, had no idea what condition the rope was in because you couldn’t see all of it and it was super old… clearly.. and plenty of tight spots, and plenty of spots where we were partially in water… bc when it rains, caves take in and hold water… but the one thing nobody is saying. Which is the most realistic thing of all. Is.. when you’re spelunking.. every single move you make, and every advance through the cave you go.. is completely and totally up yo you.. nobody is making you, and believe me.. nobody COULD make you. its hard enough to cabe dive yourself. you're definitely not forcing or physically taking someone else through a cave lol.
My thoughts were that the cave was alive in some way at first? It doesn't make much sense when you really think about it, but with the way everything was playing out, I thought that's what it would be. I really like the way this makes you feel terror, rather than horror. That's something I really appreciate about things like this. It leaves you with that lingering sense of fear, and "what if?" and it's difficult to stop thinking about it. This is great.
Same man. Kid you not, that first thing Ted pointed the camera at within the actual cave part past where he squeezed through I immediately thought it was a uvula. The texture strengthened that thought as well.

Oh now I get the piglets. In other news, this was a fantastic recap and I actually went to read the original. I think someone making a video game adaptation would be super cool as well!!
Dude this video was crazy that even my piglets got scared My theory was the hieroglyphics were actually seals keeping something in because why would something be hurting people and still be in a cave when it’s obvious there’s another way to go and how to creepypasta said that the hieroglyphics glowed
First video of u i've ever watched and i've enjoyed every bit of it !! I love this type of content and ur commentary helped me understand the story a lot better too 😭 (piglet)
what about the wendigo? maybe the thing beyond floyd's tomb (the place where ted started freaking out, beyond the hieroglyphs) was it's lair? also piglets were so freaking scary
My thoughts are: There was a chamber beyond that rock that was the creature's home or even its prison that maybe guarded a civilization, seeing that people in the past worshiped it and maybe was sealed off by other people that thought it was a malevolent being
1:50:00 My only complaint with that is that He prob would have let his friends name slip and not keep calling him B. Atleast when hes terrified and huddled on the floor with no light.

On top of that, congrats on being an asshole and turning an amazing story into just a stupid tirade about your prissy childish bullshit.
Why say that in the comment section instead of opening the bible or asking God himself why he does that huh?
I love the cliff hanger ending so much, in both the creepy pasta and the videos, because there are so many unanswered questions, what is the creature?, what did Joe see? What happened after they went back? We get nothing, and its genius
My theoretical answers to those three questions:
- Joe saw the creature (maybe it had some influence on him like It did to lure them all back down)
- The creature is some demon/something supernatural (apparently it was also worshiped as the hieroglyph showed)
- Ted, B and Joe died after making their return (the creature was hostile so it’s a guarantee that it would kill them)

yea but if that was true why would the wind be strong enough that you can feel and hear it?
@@Jaso-uk4he idk man i failed 1st grade

My interpretation is that B stayed on the side he usually does but Joe and Ted go through and Joe and Ted die to whatever is there and the camera was lost or destroyed by whatever is in there while B heard the screams and he narrowly escaped
that make alot of sense... but my question is that since ted brought a gun wouldnt B hear the gunshots since guns are REALLY loud.

Yep! That’s right! Wendigoon helped make a video on it.
They said that in the video
what i like with project with low budget, it’s that there’s some form of authenticity somehow? idk how to explain, but the fact that we can’t see anything on most scenes and that we can only rely on the sound we hear let’s our brain imagine the action by itself, which adds a lot to a stress factor in a lot of horror movie/series, i’ve studied in cinema and our teacher often said ‘imagination is way scarier then seeing the actual thing because of the uncertainty’ which is well executed in this one by a work of sound design and the great performance of the actors! tbh, those type of projects always gets me because it shows that sometimes you don’t need to make your projects super complicated for it to work, as long as you know how to portray it, it will do it’s job well and gets the idea across!
(sorry for rambling about this lol, i just wanted to show how cool low budget projects can be when made well with a lot of care, which i’m sure is the case for this series)
I think paired with the fact that the footage we see is all real, and with the caving information and good acting they do, helps with the authenticity
As a spelunker and a huge fan of analog horror I'm super happy that they both came together and made this masterpiece

I don't know, not that great at theories, but I definitely see a person in that big hieroglyphic.

so excited to watch this!! been waiting for this since it was a members only stream. thank you for all your hard work, marcus. it’s greatly appreciated!!
Dude the creator of the series has made a ton more! I freakin LOVED this series, please do the rest!!!!!!!
You are the perfect mix of presence. We don't feel alone but you are never overbearing or too much. It's so nice ♥️
Wahh so many piglets!!
Excellent work per usual!! I could listen to your (unedited!) commentary for hours. Keep up the great work Marcus!!
How it be feeling to traverse the crib for a 3AM snack

Nah I'm watching this at 3am lmao
Him: do they not acknowledge the noise?
Me: they played too much minecraft with the cave noises so they think it’s normal ☠️☠️
Well yeah
“The cave that screams”
“Airflow from the hole going off and on”
Same man. Kid you not, that first thing Ted pointed the camera at within the actual cave part past where he squeezed through I immediately thought it was a uvula. The texture strengthened that thought as well.
Damn bro, I’m in hospital now, it was so boring, until i saw 2 hr video from ya. Thank you very much for my good mood.
(YT deleting my replies for some reason, but answering question below: Doctors are worried about my kidneys and they require examination. So, I’m staying in hospital for a week. Thanks for asking! I’m doing good.)

Hey thanks man, that's actually very helpful
Oh now I get the piglets. In other news, this was a fantastic recap and I actually went to read the original. I think someone making a video game adaptation would be super cool as well!!
Love the video! Fun to see this adaptation of Ted, B and Joe running around like little piglets in the cave
Dude this video was crazy that even my piglets got scared
My theory was the hieroglyphics were actually seals keeping something in because why would something be hurting people and still be in a cave when it’s obvious there’s another way to go and how to creepypasta said that the hieroglyphics glowed
First video of u i've ever watched and i've enjoyed every bit of it !! I love this type of content and ur commentary helped me understand the story a lot better too 😭
(piglet)
entry 8 just being “joe” in bloody letters made me laugh
Dude this video was really good, intro; fire, transitions; fire, messed up hair;FIRE.
what about the wendigo? maybe the thing beyond floyd's tomb (the place where ted started freaking out, beyond the hieroglyphs) was it's lair? also piglets were so freaking scary
99% or caving journeys ive heard of never end well
the nutty putty incident
@@TheNextToCome shit looks like a nightmare
@@TheNextToComewhat is that never heard of it???
It is also because those ate the most shared anger and fear make your brain wan to share something
@@hugolaroche1163 me neither i just looked at the picture of the position the victim was in and said that
My thoughts are:
There was a chamber beyond that rock that was the creature's home or even its prison that maybe guarded a civilization, seeing that people in the past worshiped it and maybe was sealed off by other people that thought it was a malevolent being
And maybe the symbol on the wall is weakening and now that thing can open and close it at will
1:50:00 My only complaint with that is that He prob would have let his friends name slip and not keep calling him B. Atleast when hes terrified and huddled on the floor with no light.
Marcus saying good night to his dad helped me be less scared lol
