Drilling drainage holes into the bottom of pipe where the pop-ups are is absolute genius! I was worried about standing water being a breeding area for mosquitoes, but you’ve helped me avoid that problem. Thank you!🙏
Looking great! Super overwhelming to see alll the work that has to be done when you guys begin. Then after some hard work it gets more and more exciting to see how great its going to look. Super job guys. Also want to say again how much fun it is to see from the helmet cam.
My sideyard is dirt just like that and I found some condensation in my concrete slab. You think a combination of adding rain gutters, concrete w/ drains will resolve my slab moisture issue. All my water supply lines (pex) run through the attic so my sideyard non-existent drainage seems suspect
Great job and great video David. The only thing is I wish I could of saw a little more of the drain work. I'm trying to learn to get my own drains because later I need to get a bids in for some concrete job at my place. I sent you a email Awhile back but didn't hear from you. You guy's must be really busy.
What are those drain float lids called? wouldnt the top of that lif have to be lower than the tallest pointin the drain to work properly? otherwise, sounds like it would drain out 100 percent via the holes you drilled for standing water
Instead of floats why not just go under sidewalk? Is it a city issue perhaps? My new constructed house has a drainage system that all pours out of one outlet which I find ridiculous 😑. And I have standing water all the time. I cannot just dig up because concrete has been in place over it. Any suggestions ??
@@OdellCompleteConcrete have you ever used 2 inch pipes? I have a 2 ft by 60 ft area that runs horizontal in the back of my yard with almost no down spout what can you recommend? I have a 3 inch drain pipe going from the street to the back of my yard but from the 3 inch to the back of the yard is about 25 ft
Odell Complete Concrete let me clarify, the “shaky” head cam is hard to watch. When it is smooth we can see the nuance in your technique. Not sure if you can turn on electronic stabilization feature that takes a smaller frame of the photo to reduces the shakiness. Some people are more prone to motion sickness than others.

Thank you for these videos. Single mom here doing diy. This is really easy to understand. 🙏
You are so welcome!
I have been looking for an hour just to find ideal level for top of pipe below top of 4 in concrete at high side. THANK you for the extra hint
Always great work guys !

Great work. Any chance you do work in Beaumont Ca. I need that same drain setup at my house.
I wish.

Depends where your located?
I watched several video with no drainage installed. What do you determine if it's needed or not?
how much slope there is to the front
Nice job Guys buddy 👍

NDS does carry the pop up drains with a predrilled hole for standing water just fyi..
I drill them myself
Good job, I love your videos.I am trying to make a project like this, with a drain system, how much did this project cost?
500
What psi and thickness do you recommend for a driveway, there will be heavy trucks on it .
4" 3250
Odell Complete Concrete do you have any recommendations for heating, electric or hydronic. Do you know where I can get supplies?
Another project done right!

If there is a major clog (ex. roots clogging the pipes under the concrete) in these type of pipes, what unclogging method would you recommend?
snake it with a root cutter

Yes the float has to be the lowest point.

9:10 did the owner did not want to go under the sidewalk and to the street?

What size line are you using for this project?
3"
Good work. You must have been drained after that job!
Good one
very nice man! How much would a job like this run for just the drainage?
1200
@@OdellCompleteConcrete wow your rates are great!
In Pa. the drains alone would run you 3,500
1200 with nothing but soft dirt on ground then maybe . Ofxourse everything over here in California is twice as much
If I may ask how much was the ball park cost for this job including the drains and concrete?
6900
What is the name of those drain pipes? What’s the diameter of them? Great job btw!! I really enjoy your videos very informative!!!
3" diameter drain landscape drain
Is that pvc or dwv pipe?
neither
Looks like 4” pipes? Any reason for 4” vs 3”?
This is 3" pipe
