This is Episode 1 in a series of connected quick battles between OnePingOnly and Gunsalot. The outcome of each battle has an impact on the next.
In the series, OnePingOnly plays the Americans, who are staging a "forcible entry" operation with Light and Stryker Infantry combat teams into the fictional country of Dahran. Gunsalot plays the Dahrani opposition.

In this first episode, a small force of Americans must neutralize a Dahrani S-300 SAM site during a night raid.
Setup: Tiny battle, each side using 50% of available points. Customized map.

Nice to see that radioman actually did some damage. Gunsalot's perspective didn't show any visible casualties caused by that man's mayhem.
When sound testing my side of the battle (by forcing my kin to watch the unlisted version of it) I got scolded for not being prepared enough against this attack. In truth I had no idea where your deployment zone was. So blind night patrols seemed like the right thing to do.

great AAR - thanks; excellent editing and narrating! Noticing the area fire command that your enemy was using - I'm assuming area fire is less likely to produce enemy casualties in CMx2? I'm just learning this game - coming from the old CMBB. Cheers.
