If you enjoyed the video, leave a like and a comment on what you liked about it and how you think I can improve it! I'm eager to hear your thoughts on this new series!
The CM games are so great, after I quit playing WT, Combat Mission became my main series to play and it satisfies that craving for historically accurate vehicles and gameplay more than WT ever could.
Same here!
that's really interesting because that describes my love/hate with war thunder. I wish there was a modern version of this game with destructible environments and realistic damage models
same here!
Medal of Honner music hits me in the feels.
Thanks for this. I enjoyed it. Sounds like it replicated Op Husky well, where Allied forces decimated the defenders, but at quite a high cost. Particularly the US and British Airborne, who were badly deployed because this warfare was in its infancy, as you rightly point out, with night drops going very horribly wrong.
I love this format! I would love to see more AAR of that style from Combat Mission
I liked everything about this. The editing, the pace, the narration, the historical information, switching between an overview and cinematics... I can't think of any way it could have been better.
Fantastic! Very well done. Great narration, very nice cinematic shots, and great overviews! Plus, I loved the use of the MoH music. This is a high quality CM video AAR, and I’m excited to see more!
I liked this video a lot, thank you for the 5 months of hard work you put into this. Hope to see another one soon.
The nostalgia blast from the moh airborne ost is wild
Thanks a lot for the 5 months of hard work, from my end it was worth the wait. The editing is very nice, the voice over is absolutely great and the historical context adds up nicely. And it totally converted me to the Combat Mission church !
more of this, i was hooked the whole duration with interest and for my love of these types of games, absolutely do more of this mate
Quite the engagement. Even if those R35s are light tanks, when you have NO tanks, even they can be a challenge.
Great video Miles. Hoping to see more of this type of video.
10:35 Definitely a brown pants moment right there.
This is a really great AAR! I'm always glad to see more combat mission content.
Great AAR. Look forward to seeing more Combat Mission content from ya in the future.
Great video. I came back to playing Combat Mission after 10 years of break and I am rediscovering how beautiful it is in the world of battlefields :)
Love the video, very excited to see more content from you!
Brilliant video! Thank you for sharing 👍🏼
this was a really awesome video
i like the use of MOHAA music and tactics explained here
i would like to see more
this is awesome, please make more!
Amazing video. Love WW2 and Cold War content.
Oh man! I had no idea you still kept making videos after your unicorn reviews on war thunder! Id love to see much more of this!
Glad to see another Combat Mission UA-camr.
Cool stuff mate, I remebrer watching ypur unicorn reviews years ago, glad you are taking a look at Combat Mission.
Cheers
I got into it about a year ago and am addicted
Subbed cuz the AARs are great.
Nicely done
Another good aar. And as others have mentioned the moh allied assault theme was a good pick.
Great video, easy choice to subscribe!
That one dude definitely used the force to sense that incoming tank shell.
He did have the high ground
10:43 this guy's whole future generation in his sack was lucky
Dang I sure love the content man thanks a lot. I hope you'd make more in the future
That's the plan!
5 months eh? Sounds about right. You’ll find the AI on attack is pretty dire. It does a half decent job on defence though but you can’t beat a human opponent. Hope to see you make more of these if you have the time.
josey why did you stop making aars? always thought yours were the best
@@thomascorin2732 thanks man, that’s nice to hear. Because they take 5 months to make 😉
Hey! Means a lot coming from you! Plan is to definitely make more, just a matter of finding the time and the motivation to play a scenario and edit it all out.
I seem to remember Hapless playing on this map but in a very different scenario. Great vid nevertheless!
I would also add: I am a big fan of CM games. But they are like the Renault R35 Tank: an important step forward in their time, but very much obsolescent now, and need to be upgraded!!! 🙂.
always loved combat mission, all the way back to the original
I like the setup and introduction. Sort of reminds me of k0noa and diplexheated's scenario videos, so to see you make one as well! Christmas man.. Christmas..
absolutely do more of this
Want to see combat mission: North Africa and combat mission: pacific. It would literally be the full package deal
More Combat Mission!
hey I'm a new comer and this video was wonderful
Pretty sure that R35 has only two crew members, so killing commander equals killing both gumner and the loader as well.
Great video! I just wish I understood how to play Combat Mission
I recommend checking out Usually Hapless's "Combat Mission: Basics" series, specifically his firefight 1 2 & 3 episodes. they lay down some of the basic principles that define combat mission and make it stand out from the rest.
Eyyy, the far away guy lives
Indeed
@@MilesStratton I'm honestly glad to see it
Wow Miles leaving WT. Didn’t see that one coming. Wonder if this make you the first ‘decal’ CC to leave?
Wish you the best on covering other games and continuing to create amazing content. Perhaps you could check out titles like Tiny Combat Arena, Carrier Command 2, War on the Sea, Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts, UBOAT, WARNO, and Arms Trade Tycoon Tanks. And upcoming titles like Regiments, Broken Arrow, Sea Power, Task Force Admiral, The Mighty Eighth, and Modern Air Combat.
There's a number of titles I want to cover and a fair few are on that list!
@@MilesStratton Well it’s only natural because we are both love military history/vehicles!
Bro came back
I do indeed live
how does this compare to black sea in terms of performance
would have been interessting against a human opponent
Reminds me of wolfpack345, so If you don’t know him, check him out if you also liked this videos style
He makes great content!
PAK crewman using imaginary binocs. LoL
Gotta feel important somehow
