    Hello, It's a beautiful work. How can I increase it to L and XL sizes?

    • @elijellycrochetchannel
      @elijellycrochetchannel  3 роки тому +1

      There are several ways: either start with a longer foundation chain according to the pattern multiples (but that also makes the neckline wider), or you can also make a chain under the sleeves, or you can also make increases in the pattern itself e.g. every row. But this blouse is size M (also depending on the yarn used in this tutorial).

    Great tutorial, hope I do as well as you ❣️🤩. Is there a way to make sleeves longer for past the elbows? Thanks

    • @elijellycrochetchannel
      @elijellycrochetchannel  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you :-) Yes, just join the yarn in the armpit and continue in the same way as by making the body part... the only "problem" is with this actual colour as in this case you would have to have 2 skeins of yarn to keep the colour flow which is a bit tricky with this "ombré" effect... Bell sleeves would look great. :-)

      Due to the lack of time I only record the video as I am working on my own clothes. I am so sorry but there is no written pattern for other sizes. ;-( Thank you for your understanding.

      Is there any way you would if we paid for it? I love this pattern. I don’t know how many stitches to increase when increasing a row. Or exactly when I get to the armpits. Please, I would be willing to pay $5.00 for this pattern.

    • @elijellycrochetchannel
      @elijellycrochetchannel  3 роки тому +1

      @@lynnemurschel3654 The increase is explained in the tutorial. You always make the increase at the peak of the chevron by making 2 + 2 DCs separated by chains. An example of the increase row is to be found at timestamp 10:08 You have to try the blouse on to decide if it has reached your armpit. I am sorry I do not sell any patterns. Have a nice day!

    Et après on adapté pour la hauteur où fermer pour les manches?

    Hello. Thanks dear for your easy and simple video. I just want to ask you about the numbers of the Chevrons. My head size needed 31 Chevron peaks. So it is an odd number. How should I divide the peaks for body, back and arms?

    • @elijellycrochetchannel
      @elijellycrochetchannel  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Sara! It must be divided regularly, so either count one more/one less chevron peak. 31 will not work, you need an even number.

    • @elijellycrochetchannel
      @elijellycrochetchannel  2 роки тому +1

      @@Raya_violet99 ... theoretically you can try and leave it like that... you definitely need the same amount of chevron peaks for both left and right sleeve... and let us say you hide the one extra peak in the back part... but I have not try that and do not know if it looks good and wearable in the end. Sorry to have disappointed you. Take care and have a nice day!

      @@elijellycrochetchannel thanks allot dear. How much peaks do you think should I leave for the sleeves?

    • @elijellycrochetchannel
      @elijellycrochetchannel  2 роки тому

      That depends on many things, e. g. the yarn that was chosen for the project, if you want the sleeves to be tight or loose etc.... you only need the same amount of peaks for the left and the right sleeve. By top-down technique it is important to try it on every couple of rows. (We are all unique and have unique bodies.)

    At :39 u have a set of number 20×7 and 24×7
    What part of the body did the 20 and 24 come from?

    • @elijellycrochetchannel
      @elijellycrochetchannel  2 роки тому

      Hi Kristie. The project is made top-down. That means you have to consider the type of the yarn you are going to use before you start, the width of the opening and the number of the pattern repeats for sleeves/front/back. DIVA is thinner than BELLA that is why I had to make more pattern repeats of the chevron stitch. 24 for DIVA and 20 for BELLA. The number 7 stands for one repeat of the pattern. Go to ROW 25 at 13:49 and you will find further explanation how you have to divide the chevron stitch to the sleeves and the body (how many pattern repeats). I hope it helped :-) Have a nice day!

      I ordered the diva yarn. I measured my chest (circumstance is 38 inches) and I'm a 2x on the top and a 3x In my tummy Hip area so I multiple 38 by 7 266 +1=267 as the starting chain for the top and I know that's wrong. What am I doing wrong here?

    • @elijellycrochetchannel
      @elijellycrochetchannel  2 роки тому +1

      @@kristiesutton6103 If you ordered the DIVA yarn then try and follow the instruction of the tutorial for DIVA yarn please. Can you comfortably put your head through the foundation chain closed by the slipstitch? If yes then continue with the tutorial. If not then you need to make more loops (described below). As far as the measurement of your chest/tummy is concerned, here you have to make the increases of the pattern more frequently. This is how you make the blouse bigger and wider.
      After you have made the foundation chain you continue by making "loops". There are 24 loops in my tutorial. And into these loops you start with the pattern. One loop = 7 chains. The number of the loops is actually up to you. For my body and size I needed to make 24 of them = 5 for the left sleeve, 5 for the right sleeve, 7 for the back part and 7 for the front part (see at 13:29). Loops, not inches. You see the loops at 4:30.
      Your multiple of 38 by 7 is therefore incorrect. You refer to inches but I refer to loops :-)
