This was so wholesome and made me feel jealous for the friendships and enjoyment you spent together! I live in the US, and friendships of this size are colored by jealousies, gossiping, cliques, and are generally not authentic. What a breath of fresh air you are!
I couldn't agree more as I too live in the USA. I use to have lots of friends when my husband and I were in the Navy but civilian life isn't what it's cracked up to be. We have no friends at all now and it's quite lonely to live without your own social circle of good friends. We stay to ourselves each and every day. Sad tbh
You can also find friendship with family members. My sisters are my friends. We travel, eat out and cook delicious food together. Coming to US is a blessing to my entire family. Always be thankful of what we have in life.
