Algo importante que este canal no dice es que una gran parte de los alimentos que usan son legado de los pueblos nativos de America. Para empezar la quinoa, ese cultivo es de los Andes bolivianos principalmente y tambien de los peruanos y no se conocia a nivel internacional hasta hace unos anos atras, de repente las semillas se las llevaron a otros lados y ahora recien aparecio en la comida china, pero ojo, mucha gente no sabe, creen que esto que se muestra aqui y en otros videos es comida "tipica" china. Otro problema es que luego estos paises empiezan a producir en cantidad y matan la produccion de los paises de origen. La quinoa real, es decir la mejor quinoa es cultivada en los Andes bolivianos, para esto es importante tener las condiciones climaticas y el suelo que hay en los andes. Lo que se cultiva en otros lados no es lo mismo, son granos pequenitos que no tienen la misma calidad. Lo mismo con las papas que tambien son otro regalo de los Andes al mundo que salvo a muchos de la hambruna, especialmente en Europa. En videos de este canal se ve maiz, creo que incluso ya los chinos se llevaron de America las otras variedades de maices, lo mismo con los ajies, lo mismo con el camote que los asiaticos piensan que es de ellos. La lista es larga (cacao, vainilla, el mani, las almendras, la yuca, el aguacate, plantas medicinales miles, el caucho o goma, todas las variedades de ajies, todas las variedades de zapallos, etc) y la gente de America no tiene idea de la riqueza que han dado las civilizaciones americanas al mundo, deberia defenderse mas la produccion de los paises americanos y cuidar ese patrimonio en vez de callarse y hacerse quitar por otros paises.

Thanks for this. I have been trying to get people in Putao District (Myanmar side of border west of Fugong/Niujiang) to grow Quinoa and Amaranth for a long time. This video helps a lot. It looks like the scenes were shot at a location above maybe 7500 feet. This would be like Khonglanghpu township on the Myanmar side. I've actually cooked quinoa for people in Putao and they really did not like it. But in the higher areas nobody can plant upland rice. The recipes help show how the stuff should be cooked.

Never knew Quinoa grow in Yunnan. Always thought it goes on high dry altitude in Peru or Eucador. My ignorance! I love Quinoa. It contains complete aminos. Very healthy super food.

Thanks for this. I have been trying to get people in Putao District (Myanmar side of border west of Fugong/Niujiang) to grow Quinoa and Amaranth for a long time. This video helps a lot. It looks like the scenes were shot at a location above maybe 7500 feet. This would be like Khonglanghpu township on the Myanmar side. I've actually cooked quinoa for people in Putao and they really did not like it. But in the higher areas nobody can plant upland rice. The recipes help show how the stuff should be cooked.

Quinoa originates from the Bolivian and Peruvian Andes, the native American civilizations cultivated this crop and its different variations. The same goes for the potatoes. Other crops that Native American civilizations gave to the world and are shown in this video are pumpkins, corn. Other popular crop in Asia from Native American cultures: all the chillies and the sweet potato. I hope Asians and Chinese people educate themselves and realize that a lot of this videos are not "ancient typical" Chinese/Asian food and that a lot of the food is not of Asian origin but actually from the American continent.
