Wow!! Absolutely incredible! This was the first time I had ever viewed this beautiful beast. It's such a marvel. Such power! I was so surprised to find out that the plane was full of PPE equipment and coming from China!! WOW! Thank you!!
Man, that is one loud plane. I never got to see her when she came to Abbotsford back in 1989, as I wasn't born yet. I hope someday to see her, it is a bucket list item.
What a beautiful bird...serving in the skies until the end. I'm glad it still was up in the skies in 2020, long after it's original purpose with the Soviet Union. Shame she's gone now, but glad she's not forgotten!
Truly amazing video! Thank you so much for sharing this incredible aircraft capture. That's incredible it took over 8 hours to unload it. How many trailer loads did that take to unload?
Great takes in that vid! I liked the scene around 3:30 and the starting of the engines one by one, great shots in that vid, very complete, including ATC and FR24 screenshots. Very well done, thank you to Montreal!
Gosh this a beautiful craft, she may not be sleek and well defined, but she has a presence that keeps viewers clamoring to have a glimpse of this this marvel, long may Mriya grace the skies.
Nice catch! Darker time of the day during the landing, yet bright enough to see all the details combined with all the artificial lights makes it great. Golden hour shots are also amazing.
Wow Mark! What a nice video. It's once in a lifetime opportunity to cath the An-225! Fantastic job. Did you come back to Montreal overnight or you stayed somewhere at Mirabel?
