Edit: Oh wow, I just watched the whole video. You combined it with a strap that has a lot of silver/chrome color on it, so perfect. So much better than what I imagined. Ngl, I really love your combination in the thumbnail. I myself love the way casio color their text and it shows their identity and which is why I love this one specifically out of other colors. And the silver bullbar is a great match with the silver buttons, which is default tough color but also perfect with the default color with this 5600e specifically
I'm glad you showed the second way of wearing the strap, it's the best for this mod. There is also another way by simply cutting the small flap and using the strap zulu style. I have tried this method in one occasion where the nato strap was made of leather so too thick to use it as it was. Very nice presentation and I might be doing the same for my 5610U gshock - regards from London😊
Thanks, it's definitely possible that it will, but maybe that's why the strap adapters are so large, they are copies of the genuine Casio ones, also while the watch is on wrist I don't think a different strap would make much difference, I'm pretty sure the aftermarket metal bezels would reduce the on wrist shock resistance though, but most of us probably aren't doing anything exciting enough to break a G-Shock in our day to day use no matter what mod we do to it lol 😊👍🏻

I'd never looked into marine nationale straps till now, they do look like a better design, I like the idea of the elastic material, and the more minimal design is quite nice, it is a wonder why they aren't at least as popular as a NATO
Very true, but I think if more people bought them then the market would do it's thing, and they would become cheaper and easier to get as more manufacturers jump on the bandwagon, if a few popular "influencers" who talk about watches sang it's praises, I think it's something we could see happen, I think I'll order one and see how they compare to the cheap NATO straps I have 👍🏻
Are you looking on AliExpress or Alibaba? I think Alibaba is for bulk items, but I don't use that, I use AliExpress, and on there I'm able to order single items
I believe some 5600 G-Shock watches have a different shape bezel, but I think all straps and bull bars are cross compatible, but I'm not 100% certain, but usually when you look online for the parts it lists which models the part fits, failing that it's always a good idea to check with the seller 😊👍🏻

Looks amazing, though technically it will make it less shock resistant as the original strap design is to add “bounce” of dropped

Also do you need to remove the bezel to put the strap adapters on
You shouldn't need to, but sometimes with aftermarket straps and adapters it's easier to fit them when the bezel is removed
