It's like a counter. You hold HP+LP+HK+LK when someone does a babality to you. And instead of staying a baby, you return to normal and explode, resulting in a fatality... I think it's to avoid disrespect.

It's because when you start a combo by hp, hp back+lp occour a bug at the last back+lp and the damage decreases after doing more hits.
