It's almost inevitable for a Generation of Pokémon to be given alterations of some kind, with new evolutions, or regional forms, or even whichever battle gimmick gets cooked up for the next games! But even then there are always Pokémon that don't see any attention and remain the same as they ever were, so when looking to the Galar region, which Pokémon without touch-ups would be considered good enough to hang in with the improved ones? - Розваги

Congrats on the sponsor Cubone! You’ve earned it! Get that bread!
Agreed
He’s my big bread boy nah mean
I appreciate pincurchin for being a friend for pyukumuku
Right? They're SO similar!
I think for gen 9 do a April fools video about what gen 9 mons have gotten no attention
That is pretty funny actually!
This team would be a goofy and fun run. I think all but Dracovish and Grappoloct are in ScV.
Not a huge amount of type diversity, but it could still be fun!
@@emperorcubone there’s not, but enough to win a mainline Pokemon game.
I was so hurt to see arrowkuda make it into SV without Cramorant
I gues they wanted to have it out of the gimmick's shadow, but it was so weird man! I'm glad the DLC fixed it...
I can't believe the lack of professionalism on display here.
Barracuda is a Heart song!!
Oh you beat me to it haha!!
I love Dhelmise, haunted seaweed subverting Water and Steel expectations? Awesome! Plus I love how surprisingly massive it is
I still remember playing Sun for the first time, and an NPC mentioning "Dhelmise" before you can find it in the wild, just looking at the word trying to think what that could possibly mean...
POKEMON LEGENDS A-Z !!! Let go !!
And here I thought that offhand comment about Pokemon Z version last week was a joke!
Booooooo
Oh boo yourself!! @@AbolishedEmu
They better fix the galar fossils and add new megas especially to gen 6 mons or else
Dragon/Water is also on Tatsugiri now, which is much easier to get than Kingdra, Palkia, and even Dracovish
Sure, but I was speaking about it AT the time Dracovsih came out, it's true that it's easier now...
Falynx is based on a Greek military attack pattern hence why it’s fighting type
I'm familiar with the phalanx, but they also wore armor, so why is it not Steel type?
Paradox Cramorant is a gem. 😂
Iron Lottery?
@@emperorcuboneIron Gacha 😂
I just might use a Falinks on my next play through of Scarlet!
Loved my Barraskewda during my very first time playing Sword! Such a cool and useful girl!
Just do a whole Mono-Fighting team while you're at it!
Yeah, I wonder why Dragapult hasn't gotten any deeper attention, since Dragapult carried both my SwSh and SV final and post-ending game
Happy Pokemon day Emperor Cubone!!
Looking forward to it!
"An acid reflux version of dry skin" 💀 it do be like that, though
Not only did I use Barraskewda on my Shield team, but I had Falinks as a reserve for both versions, and they were very reliable team members.
That's good, because I never actually tried a Falinks, but my brother thought it was so cool, I knew it had to be somewhat good...
Falinks is awesome! Its my favorite fighting type pokemon and my second favorite galar pokemon behind corviknight
I highly recommend using boltund on a playthrough. it might not be as flashy as toxtricity, but its stat spread and the moves it can learn while also being available really early on as a yamper makes it worth it. I had one with wild charge, play rought, ice fang and crunch and it did not disappoint
I did have a Yamper on my team, but I kinda swapped it out for Toxel so I guess I'm part of the problem...
Before I watch the vid, here are some predictions as to what could be on the list:
* Dragapult - fast strong pseudo legendary that still sees a tonne of use today.
* Baraskewda: Tied for the fastest water type and is insanely fast under rain.
* Dracovish - May not count because being amalgamated by careless scientists could mean it was touched canonically, but it still kills everything by just clicking Ficious Rend.
* indeedee - psychic terraine plus expanding force.
* Koalossil - not useful in the typical way, but it has 2 abilities that both help with hatching eggs faster. I used one for all my breeding needs that gen so I gotta put respect on its name.
9:53 Barracuda is a song by Heart not by Pat Benatar.... sorry Emperor Cubone
Lol I was looking for this comment!
Currently I'm doing a dark type only run of Sword and saw Thivul on the thumbnail. In that very spesfic scenerio, he actually is a great match up aginst Kabu being able to wall Ninetails and set up a series of nasty plots and snarls better than Crawdunt or Sharpedos you can catch below their evolution levels isle of Armor
PINCURCHIN MENTIONED 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I hated Grapploct for not being a water/fighting type. I was prepared to swap for it when I caught one, and I immediately released it upon the realization that it wasn't a water type.
Hah! Nice reference to Hit Me With Your Best Shot! That made me chuckle ^^
I couldn't catch Dreepy until I got Pokemon Violet so it took me a while to use Dragapult.
It was pretty rare in Galar, but the DLC did help a little...
@@emperorcubone I'm part of the minority of players that can't download the DLC.
Well it would be cool if this was the Kalos one. lol considering the events that happened today.
Don't bully the freak of nature god made Dracovish in his own image and that's okay XD (Also glad to see a sponsor my guy!)
I've only used Falinks and Barraskewda. I agree Barraskewda was shockingly good. I expected it to be mid. But not only does it have high speed and attack, it also gets amazing move coverage including powerful psychic, ground, poison, dark, and fighting moves. Was NOT expecting that from a plain water type fish that looks so very mid.
All the other mons I wish I used but they seemed accessible only so late in the game I already had a good team before I could get them or other similar reason
Dragapult is still my favorite Pseudo Legendary Pokémon
I just want to go back and get shiny Orbeetle and Thievul
Those are some pretty sweet ones!
In relation to the Thievul on the thumbnail, I liked Nickit more than Thievul in terms of design. I would've liked it if Thievul had gender variations like how Hippowdon and Pikachu look different depending on their gender. I used a Thievul not as a main team member but rather for exploring the Wild Area & the DLC areas because of its Run Away ability, it could learn Thief, and it could defeat wild Wobbuffet without much trouble since Dark types are immune to Mirror Coat. I part of me wonders if Nickit & Thievul would've been better if they were Dark/Ground types since they're supposed to be rivals/counterparts to Yamper & Boltund. I would want Yamper & Boltund to be Electric/Fairy types regardless.
I've seen fan art of Gigantamax Cramorant with a Wailord in its mouth rather than a Arrokuda or Pikachu. Otherwise, Cramorant on its own is okay. Falinks was another neat Pokémon that could've gotten a G-Max form. I hope that some more Pokémon gain access to its signature move No Retreat.
Grapploct is one of those Pokémon that I think seems cool but isn't that great in terms of abilities or stat distribution. It could've been a Fighting/Water type. If it had Swift Swim as an ability, it would perform well, or at least okay, on Rain teams. I don't know what abilities Grapploct could've had other than maybe Contrary.
Dragapult could've had a G-Max form where it was a giant aircraft carrier whose signature G-Max Move launched a volley of Dreepy missiles at the opponent.
I hope that the signature moves of the Galar fossils will one day be distributed to more Pokémon. For Bolt Beak, I could see it given to both regional variants of Zapdos, Wattrel, and Kilowattrel. For Fishious Rend, even though it would make certain Pokémon overpowered, I'd like to see these Pokémon obtain it:
Gyarados, Totodile line(I still wish its hidden ability changed to Strong Jaw back in Gen 6), Carvanha & Sharpedo, Huntail, Walrein, Bibarel, Basculin(each form), Tirtouga & Carracosta, Dewpider & Araquanid, Bruxish, Chewtle & Drednaw, Arrokuda & Barraskewda, Basculegion(both genders), and Veluza.
Congratulations on the sponsor. I loved this video so much
[BAGPIPES INTESIFY]
Thank Arceus you used the best overworld music.
It's objectively great!
Dragapult isnt the only untouched pseudo. Kommo-o also hasn’t had any changes
I like boltund because he's a good boy
Ah my second favorite gen. Dragopult is my second favorite psuedo behind goodra(both forms) and i grew to appreciate dracovish due to ashs in the anime(even though he got done dirty) and using it a few times online. Plus dragon is my favorite type plus im really positive when it comes to Pokemon.
Really? That's not a very popular favorite, but I'm glad some people appreciate the Galar region!
I really love Pincurchun 💛🖤
One of my faves of Galar
Besides of that I’m glad to see you’re sponsored, I love your content you deserve more 🎉
Well thank you! I'm glad somebody likes that Pokemon, every one of them deserves to have some fans!
Another great video just in time for Pokémon Day :) Nice work with the sponsor, my liege!
Thank you! I'm excited to see what's in store!
3:11 Why would Cramorant swallow a pokemon of a type that it’s 4x weak to
3:59 Iron Vacuum
9:42 A Regional Decidueye maybe?
Pat Benatar? Barracuda was written by the band Heart.
First sponsor (that I’m aware of at least)!! Congrats!
Thank you! I hope to be able to do it again sometime.
Love this channel.
Thank you! Love people like you too!
With the exception of my starter for two reasons, I hated using Pokemon that could Gigantamax when I played Sword. For that reason, I rarely used other Eighth Generation Pokemon though despite my dislike, I used Orbeatle and Coalossal due to convenience.
To be fair, you Couldn't even use Gigantamax forms unless you specifically caught one and dumped the one you caught first, until the DLC 7 months after it came out!
...I guess that's not helping.
Heart made "Barracuda", not Pat Benatar
I wanted to see if anyone else caught this haha. Still love the content, cube
Oooooo barracuda & ooooo so close too. It would be Heart’s favorite Pokemon 😬
I honestly thought you were going to talk about the Pokemon Presents video.
Well, I always post early in the morning, so the video dropped before the stream. Obviously that was a mistake because nobody wants to watch anything else...
That sounds kind of sad 😞
9:52 if you’re referring to the song Barracuda, wouldn’t you be referring to Heart instead of Pat Benatar?
I feel like Dracovish and Dragupult dont need anything given the fact theyre two of the strongest pokemon ever made. Draco was banned in gen 8 and Dragupult is currently banned in NatDex. Dragonite is the dragon that needs help. 9 gens and still nothing.
I miss the old intro music :’(
It'll come back, it's just a Galar themed video...
Happy Pokemon Day!!
Let's hope we receive good news!
I just sad. There was no fossil pokemon in scarlet.
Yeah, I guess maybe they thought the Past Paradox forms filled that role enough, but they were wrong...
They did dirty dragapult in gen 9 :(
You talking about the jagged tail geometry on its model? Cause that's pretty bad!
@@emperorcubone Yes. Also the fact that they removed a bunch of coverages from him. Like Steel Wing, it was useful aganaist fairies and ice types :(
I'm commenting on this way too late. But anyway. Falinks is one of the most disappointing designs of Gen 8 to me. And I know I'm alone in that because how stupid popular it is, but...
It's a worse Exeggcute. It has no reason to just be little dudes together. It would be a lot better if it was a pure fighting detachable centipede. At least it would be unique. I get that it is a Roman Legion and therefore it *needed* to be multiple guys, but it could be one thing with an ability like schooling, or a horse, or a bug or something. It's just honestly so boring and is only outstanding on how much not like a Pokémon it is.
You are... not wrong. The design is super weird!
Meow
The galar fossils are still fugly and not f*ing fixed btw ash’s dracovish is beyond insufferable
