I have to say; ever since I cleaned up my computer last week, and then since I organized my phone exactly like Matt’s, married a girl named nat (she’s not from australia but I still ask her to use the accent), moved to LA, grew a beard, cut my hair like Matt’s, changed my name to Mat (one t is more minimal) and bought charcoal GQ t shirts, I’ve been so productive. can you do a video on "How to start Reading again", personally after years of keeping myself too busy in college I started to have the habit of only wanting to read simple stuffs online like tweets and short news update that I soon lose my interest in long essays n thick novels. I hope I can reduce that tech reliability and actually start reading real stuffs again. Anyway I love your vids!
Personally, limiting screentime worked for me! Your phone might be shortening your attention span, but for me I tend to want to read again when I stop using my phone for a day :) and the best thing is practice. Get a good book, maybe one you've read before that isn't too long and is easy to get through, and forcr yourself to sit down and read as much as you can. Maybe find a specific time a day/week for reading so your brain knows what's up
Short stories might help to get you in a reading habit. also everything you read is valuable. even if its just short news updates or an article in the newspaper. You don't need to read for like hours. 15 minutes a day is great too! it's about enjoying the book, not about how much you read or how fast. some read slow, some read fast.
if physical books don't work out, I suggest to read some ebooks or audiobooks. both count as reading too!
maybe it helps to turn off your phone or other things that distracts you?

I don’t work from home or freelance so most of these apps don’t apply to me, but these videos definitely help me limit myself to only two home screens, any more and I’ll look over what apps I don’t use.
It also helps that I got rid of all games from my phone, and realised I’m not constantly on my phone compared to my friends.

(Just saying cause I heard you on the email video saying that you thought beforehand that it might not work for an entire video)

I like the idea of deleting the email app on your phone. I realize that I have a computer that I could just make time each day to check instead of checking it sporadically when I’m bored.

A tiny tip for you. To save some time uninstalling and reinstalling social media apps that you use less frequently, you can just use your browser and login to the social media platform you want to use. It really helped me in focusing on work and only visiting social media when I only needed to. Plus, you can save some storage space too.
