Just decided I have to have these paints after seeing your beautiful double page! My husband is gonna give me "the look" when they come in the mail! ha ha! As always, I've enjoyed your tutorial immensely and look for more to watch! Keep up the wonderful work! Love it!
Thank you so much for sharing this awesome technique. I invested in the Finetec/Coliro watercolors after watching one of your other videos and love them! Your double-page spread is gorgeous! Again, thanks for sharing!
Your so very delightful and wonderful Claire, I just love watching your tutorials. I want you to know how much that you have tought me in both Watercolours and coloured pencils. Thank You so very much my dearest sweet friend, Sending all my Love and Blessings All the way from America 😊❤❣
Bless you. I do still colour but my spare time is totally devoted to setting up my new resin jewellery business :) I share my pages on Facebook but not teaching at the moment. If I do a tutorial in the near future it’ll be about resin - person a separate channel. Xx

Some how I missed the completed page!! Because you know I would have given it ❤️❤️❤️ 😂😂!! As always your work is jaw dropping!! Thanks so much for all you do!
Just love your style of coloring beautiful 💝. I was wondering if you may remember the colors you used for this beautiful page? If so do you mind sharing. Thank you 😊
Marina Sepeda thankyou! If I remember I made an effort to use the full range of paint colours as a test page. 🎨🎨 you can see them on the Coliro website.
Clare Birschel I hope so!!! It takes a lot of prep and daily videos for a full page set of tutorials. I’m self employed, so when I’m between contracts it’s easy to have the time to commit. I’m in contract working full time until the end of November so it’s difficult to squeeze in at the moment. If only I could do this professionally - I’d be the happiest girl alive ☺️☺️☺️
I've just started using water colour and I've been learning to have only a small bit of colour and lots of water so it can be translucent but you did it the other way round. Is it because it's a metallic type colour?
Alissa Michaela thanks for the tip but I honestly think that would result in too much water going onto the dry cake. You literally only need tiny amounts. Too much water the paint will be too thin 🎨🎨
Joan Porter I’m sorry about that Joan after tens of thousands of tutorial views you’re the first one to ever say that. Can you adjust the sound on your laptop or phone?

Dusty Ward you’re very welcome and thankyou xxx
So very beautiful. I actually use a cleaned out visine eye drop bottle filled with water to drip my water in the paint. I love your tutorials!

Very helpful tutorial. Thank you. Do you think this technique will work with the paints from KJDesignByKaren ? I have a few of her colours.
Absolutely. Her paints are the best of the best ❤️🎨
Gorgeous!
Will u be doing another colour along? I love the ones you have done ☺

Claire Holoway Colouring yes I know what you mean! Always appreciate what you do
Very inspiring, Claire! I've been using my Coliro's along with you. Just wondering - what is the best fixative for these watercolors? Thanks!
Diane Bauer Golden Thankyou!!! To be honest I’ve never used fixative on my watercolours xxxx
I've just started using water colour and I've been learning to have only a small bit of colour and lots of water so it can be translucent but you did it the other way round. Is it because it's a metallic type colour?
It’s because the books aren’t water colour paper so will buckle with lots of water :)
@@ClaireHoloway thank you for answering me x
Beautiful. When you blend the paint....because you are going over it a couple of times to blend does it warp or buckle the paper?
Stella Jean hi! If you use a tiny brush and the tiny amount of water it picks up - no. Water pens, pipettes etc won’t do you any favours :)
Thanks for your quick reply and information. I'm enjoying watching your videos. Your coloring is gorgeous.😊💖
Hey Claire - just curious, do you prep the page for watercolour at all?
Ellie Farmer personally I don’t, no :)
Thank you ❤
You should get a pipet to drip water onto the paints to moisten them. I’m going to buy one myself
Alissa Michaela thanks for the tip but I honestly think that would result in too much water going onto the dry cake. You literally only need tiny amounts. Too much water the paint will be too thin 🎨🎨
Beautiful pages. What’s your preference water pencils or paints?
Barbara Bolton hi! Depends on the book and the thickness of the paper. But on the whole, Coliros :)
Thank you so informative
I love what you are doing but it is difficult hear what you say
Joan Porter I’m sorry about that Joan after tens of thousands of tutorial views you’re the first one to ever say that. Can you adjust the sound on your laptop or phone?
this is dreadful
Perhaps constructive feedback rather than an outright insult would be better? Unless you want to be blocked from the channel of course.........
