I have this Kingfisher in a mini colouring book.
You could have written the Palette down so every one was ready. Certainly with their pencils! Or said the colour name or number more prominently as you went along.

I have recently bought all the colors plus I have 24 different watercolor pens. I also have different watercolor blocks, both cold pressed and hot pressed. I am new to your channel. So beautiful kingfishe bird, did you paint it on cold pressed or hot pressed paper. tess from Sweden ❤❤❤
Hi @OldTess, this was painted on our Inktense paper which is a textured cold pressed surface in natural white colour. Hope that helps. Best, Derwent

Hi you can clean the brushes by pushing the water out of the brush and cleaning the brush off on a piece of tissue or the sponge in the Inktense Paint Pan Sets. This way you won't need too many waterbrushes. We do offer 4 different waterbrushes as they have different shapes and sizes for the tips, making some better for large washes of colour and some better for small details. I am on a tablet, and by going Full screen and turning my 10 inch tablet into Portrait orientation, the image filled the screen. However the resolution max was only 240p

Has anyone ever used Inktense for calligraphy work as you would watercolor?
Hi Jennifer, you can use Inktense for Calligraphy work but it might be best to use the Inktense Pencils and then go over with a waterbrush so you have more control. Best, Derwent
2:45 Those colorization stains on the plastic palette look brutal. Wouldnt a metal box with some very hard colorization resistant coating be possible/available? I am an absolute Derwent Inktense and Graphitint fan.

Can I use lightfast pencils over inktense paint I tried it and the pencils seem to slide over thanks!!!
Hi Ann, the formulation of Lightfast pencils may not work, but it is best to test beforehand. Make sure the Inktense paint is fully dried. Best, Derwent

Very interesting and helpful, but such a shame that the video was shot through a vertical letterbox, i.e. portrait mode on a cell phone (?) rather than landscape view.
Consequently, the video is not close up enough to appreciate fully the techniques demonstrated...even when played back through my 32" TV screen!
I don't know why some people do this with videos Just rotate the phone 90 degrees to get a full picture...please? 🙂

I watched on a 10 inch tablet, turned the tablet into portrait mode and Full screen and it filled my whole screen. However my problem was the maximum resolution it would allow me was only 240 p so it was a bit blurry.
That auto correct drives me crazy, inktense! Not intense! Sorry.
