I mean, it’s not that much of a stretch considering they never actually died, they just disappeared into the Dark Aether. This gives the possibility that they may be still alive and appear later on in Cold War, maybe having us meet them while we search through the Dark Aether
While that's true, I'm hoping we dont ever play as them. Maybe they can just make a cameo. Honestly I want a meeting crew, not just remade maps, Operators, I want new stuff
I would love to play as the Victus crew on new maps trying to do stuff on their own. Though wouldn't mind a Tranzit remake or just really big map like Tranzit but pushing next gen hardware unlike the limitations PS3 and Xbox 360 had on old Cods.
Maybe it could work like WW2 zombies. We go through the Dark Aether and find the Victus crew one at a time, and we do a certain easter egg to find them. once we do, then it would show a ingame cutscene of them coming with us. We basically collect the characters.
Life Is Good my big question is whether or not both Samantha and Eddie will join Weaver and one other as a new possible crew for future maps, like how it was just soldiers for Nacht and Verruckt and we didn’t get the proper crew till Shino Numa
They will be playable in the tranzit remake
Imagine if The Shadow Man and Dr. Monty try and use the Victis crew as a means to have the Dark Aether leak into the new world
Imagine if Victis does that on its own and will try to save themselves by opening the dark Aether to escape it

@Silent One I mean they would'nt. The only reason primis is younger than the orginal crew is because they're from a whole nother universe. But now theres only one universe so if Victis returns it'll be the same crew
I hate the fact that we are playing as multiplayer characters.

I mean, considering everything is in the Dark Aether now, that says that the Victis Maps are in the same dimension as everything else.
Which means we could see them again either in the Dark Aether or in 1983 when they leave the Dark Aether.
That could be possible through time displacement or whatever nefarious plotline Craig can think of.

legitimately i loved the victis crew. their name is so similar to victims. they’re like the victims of the issues richtofen released after moon and i genuinely loved their characters. at first they sucked then they developed. however Ultimis is the favorite crew for me. i seriously can’t wait to see them again somehow.

I was so sad about victis when i saw what happened to them in tag. They were normal people like us. They had no clue about what they were doing, but they were hopeful that they could find redemption. As misty herself said "because doing something, ANYTHING, is better than doing nothing." I mean, they were always betrayed by everone who they trusted. So its not far from expectaion to see them go with "trusting the one that is betrayed" and trust monty and shadow man.

Plot twist and a possibility, when “Great War” Richthofen made Nikolai the leader it wasn’t Richthofen it was probably Dr. Monty or Shadow man that disguised himself as Richthofen just to get rid of them, and now their souls are trapped.

I don't think that really is true. The guy is talking about Canon and the story and what has happened so far. It's quite obvious with context clues that he is referring old characters from the aether story and other elements from previous games.

Would be really cool for them to crawl out of the dark aether through a series of old remasters. It shouldn’t have to be just victis maps, though tranzit is a must. The second map could be whichever really, but I’m thinking Ascension.
The last map should be Moon, because the events of Moon are the roots of all their problems.
If we had to assume that victis is still alive inside the dark aether during the events of cold war zombies. I think it is unlikely, because they wouldn’t have been able to survive that long in there. But if you are telling me treyarch could give us an inside look of the dark aether, after the events of tag, with victis, that would be more likely to happen

Dude I love tranzit and the victis crew. IMO they probably have the most personality out of all the zombie crews we’ve had over the years (especially their little quips in Tranzit). They have to come back, it wouldn’t be the same without em
My personal theory is that it’s setting up for the victis crew like how the original nacht set up the zombies storyline and I think that the main quest Easter egg is us unlocking the secrets of nacht and releasing the crew from the dark Aether and them working with these new organizations

On BO2 zombies in the map select if you hiver over buried and transit, there's a blue light coming from them and making some kind of radio noises
edit: Richtofen is the only one returning because Eddie is Richthofen
If the victor's crew stuck in the Dark ether. In the cold war story, we know that Sam and Eddie become adults. The Teddy bear represents to Sam, and the bunny represents Eddie, which is Richtofen. Is that possible that Eddie (Richtofen) will control Sullinger's head again?

So if they've been trapped in the Dark Aether there ever since the Multiverse was destroyed, it'd be around 20-30 years of being trapped...So like 200 years in the Dark Aether...So they're either god-like beings akin to The Forsaken, dead, ultimate badass immortal humans, or Activision is playing fast and loose with their Dark Aether canon. Or maybe them being trapped doesn't translate in parallel time so they've only been trapped a few years.

Richtofen can also return. We know that Samantha is in the storyline because we see her in the opening cut scene. Well her and "Eddie" walked into the light together to live seemingly new lives. Wouldn't that mean that Eddie too grew up to become maybe a purified Richtofen? I think so.

I dont really understand why ultimus, or at least everyone of ultimus besides rictofen, has to disappear. Victus and primus are directly results of the zombies, 115 and everything else. But ultimus BELONGS in the one true dimension. They existed well before zombies ever existed and their home is dimension 63 i believe (our dimension in real life, the original one that contains der riese, nacht etc... I think it has just been repaired and sam and eddie were placed into the world at a certain time and age. While they are technically dead, I dont understand why a repaired original universe WOULDN'T contain ultimus, just without any corruption of 115 or aether or anything else. Because they were originally part of that world, I dont understand why they wouldn't also be placed back into it if it truely was repaired. They weren't always binded to the aether, its only because of the corruption of maxis and rictofen that the other 3 ended up corrupted

I thought it was confirmed that there are 2 modes: One with the Omega (Samantha) crew as playable characters, easter eggs enabled, start with pistol, etc. And a survival mode with the requiem (American) group of multiplayer characters with loadouts on spawn, scorestreaks, etc. Am I wrong?

Ive always trusted treyarch even through bo4 i have faith in this story and im legit so confident that this will be the best series of maps going into the future
An interesting way of taking things is what if after being betrayed so many times they decide to make there own salvation and find a way to break out of the dark aether but in doing so accidentally let the zombies out too and that's why they're in BOCW. And maybe some of the future maps are them trying to fix their mistake.
