- In this video I share with you my review of the bugaboo chameleon 3 , show you how to fold the bugaboo chameleon 3 and put it in the transport bag. The bugaboo bassinet is suitable for overnight sleeping so ideal for travelling with a small baby.
We are a family who love to travel whenever we can. Traveling with young kids is easy if you know how. Having a few simple tips and tricks to make travel that bit easier really helps.
This is the first bugaboo cameleon 3. Bugaboo have since released the bugaboo cameleon 3 plus which is very similar but the basket is slightly different making it easier to access.

Have you ever been charged extra when travelling with this? How much have you travelled with the bag? Thanks! ☺️
No I was never charged for taking the bugaboo in its bag as most airlines carry one or two items of baby equipment for free. I used it quite a bit when my son was small as the bugaboo is such a good stroller.
Great video thanks! Do you check the travel case in? We are travelling for the first time with our 9month old and wasn’t sure if we could take right up to the plane when we are boarding before handing this over, or whether it would need to be checked in before?
With the bugaboo I always checked it in. If you need a stroller to use in the airport then I'd recommend a small umbrella type stroller that can be easily folded at the gate. The bugaboo is so comfortable though. Some airports have strollers that you can use also.
Hi just a quick question, did you check in the bag with the stroller or pack it before getting in the plane?
I check in the stroller bag. I like to let my son tire himself out running around the airport so that he's more likely to sleep on board. For a small baby I'd recommend using a baby carrier /sling so your hands are free.

Where did you buy this transport bag? Now, bugaboo has different one, much bigger (way too big for cameleon 3). This one looks more compact and more user-friendly.
Marcjanna Mietla When I bought this there were two models available. It seems the bigger one is for sale now. I have seen plenty of these for sale second hand. I'm not sure where you live but check ebay or your local second hand sites. I know adverts.ie regularly have them. The stroller also fits in the older frog bags(which I've also used) which are handy as they are not as bulky but have no wheels.

Hi Nadine, I don't think this model is available now. The new one is bigger because I think it also fits the donkey. You can probably pick one up online secondhand( there's loads on adverts.ie if your in Ireland). I have a frog bag too, it doesn't have the wheels but the cameleon 3 fits in that also and it is extremely padded.
I cannot seem to find this bag for purchase, could you advice the name of the model? Is this the bugaboo compact bag (that is claimed to be for Bee models only)?? Or a different one?
Hiya it doesn't have a name but it has the logo for the cameleon and the bee on it.
I just checked it is called the bugaboo transport bag.
