I love how wrath basically went through the real world process of becoming a historic site. At first it was built for a purpose, and once that purpose ended it was abandoned, but as time went on it became prestigious enough that restoring it had become the objective and its original objective was basically forgotten.

No. Like in reality, 2b2t's server is been here like a decade, the chunks have been copied, and a pentagram with nearly 67+ obsidian. Reading this was never wasting a time.
I mostly love it for the fact that you wouldn’t expect anything like 2b2t to be so rich with all this history and culture. Hell, even if you set aside the fact it’s a video game, on its own it’s already insane that despite not happening in the real world, 2b2t has a really rich history that only real life could possibly replicate in form.
I really care about you all! Many people think that the way to get to heaven is by being just a “good” person, but scripture tells us that no one is good but God! So you how do we get to heaven then... scripture like John 3:16 tells us by believing in Jesus... that He loves is our Lord and Savior, we accept that Jesus payed our fine for our sin in full on the cross! You’d be surprised to learn how many adults do this too.
Non-facetiously; destroying something that someone else put huge effort into making creates a thrill of power and control, and because it's a virtual creation that no-one's wellbeing depends on, it moves them a step away from any potential guilt for doing so. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's always malicious - although the majority of griefers are there specifically for the schadenfreude - but that's the underlying hook that keeps people coming back to it.

The British Broadcasting Corporation preserves every bit of media aired and even the stuff that hasn't. The very purpose of museums is to preserve and present history. There are world heritage sites. There are national reserves. There are parks in cities. If people didn't care about history IRL the colosseum would have been torn down to facilitate apartments or office blocks. But don't get me wrong. People and businesses out there would delight in replacing historic relics with high rises and highways

Nope. The square prevents lava from doing anything since it'll just hit the top layer and flow over. Each block is a source block, so to repair the cube you just need to mine the cobble and plane a new level.

Honestly the whole story of the Wrath Outpost sounds like something straight out of a fantasy world. The restoration of a fallen keep started with a single person who amassed many people to help. Those people guarded the outpost the same way it was guarded many years prior to its destruction all in honor of its existence. This is genuinely amazing to see.
Make a book about that and I will buy it.
But... I will not read it... since that's for neeerds.

As I am here getting ready for another day of work, let me tell you this:
I give you credit for your videos. You really make it sound interesting and do a good job capturing and keeping your viewers attention. This is coming from a fully grown man who doesn't (and has never) even played Minecraft. I found you completely by accident and have binge watched no less than ten of your videos over the past couple of days. It's rare for me to subscribe to someone detailing a game I don't play....but...you have a new sub.

Sponges wouldnt be effective as you think. Every block is a source block. If you place a sponge the nearby source blocks would fill the area w new source blocks, griefers are gonna need to start at the top and layer down.

The only issue with the water is a red stone mechanic. Over a year ago you put a video called “2B2T’s History of Flight.” In the video you showed us the original use for flying machines and what they become. One of the uses was to use slime and red stone with some other stuff to take out water.
