Silhouette says you can, however, I have not and probably won't because we do real woodworking and it's messy.... all those shavings and sawdust is so fine when it's carved up and gets into everything. I don't want to chance it getting into my channels on the Curio 2 and ruining my machine. I'd highly recommend the debris tray if you do try it and keep a vacuum handy.

Could you use a scorch marker when they get the pen adapters?
If you can find one that will fit in the pen holder, the one I have is too wide to fit.
I wish the cutting area would be bigger on that machine it would be amazing for bookbinding projects
A larger cutting area means it would have to be a much larger machine. 12" x 12" is much larger than the older model Curio 1.
