Benelli "Lupo HPR" .308 Win Rifle (with accuracy @ 1000 yards!)

- I first reviewed the hunting version of the Benelli Lupo 2 years ago and I was impressed with the overall feel and accuracy of the rifle. Now from the makers of the legendary Benelli M4, comes the Lupo HPR or High Precision Rifle which is a hybrid more suited to long range shooting. It comes with an impressive 3/4 MOA guarantee for 5 shots at 100 yards using match ammo. I was able to achieve 0.5" using the Norma 175gr match ammo! Overall I couldn't fault the rifle. In this review I show you accuracy at 100, 600 and 1000 yards to test the long range shooting performance of this rifle.

Love a good ozzie review. Was recently looking at the Benelli and Beretta offerings for a long range setup. Ended up with a Remington 700 Police, but this looks just as good. Keep the honest no frills no bs content coming 👍🏻

I was struggling with the same choice, the 25 year guarantee on the coating pushed me over the line, put a deposit on a hpr in 300 prc yesterday, gotta wait till September for it to arrive :(
They do have 308 in stock though.
$4.999 is out of my price range, cheaper to get a custom rifle built. Very sexy though.

You are getting that flyer because you are not firing a fauling shot or 2 with the ammo you are testing first when switching loads.
