I have a cockatiel and I am sharing his videos and other other cockatiel training stuff like whistle trainings and talking trainings. I mean if she can take scritches, she has trust people to an extent? My bird was totally bonded to me before she wanted scritches.

Man if you think of it, cockatiels are vicious animals compared to other parrots. While petting for example, one moment they're really enjoying it, and then, out of nowhere, they go all "peace was never an option" on you and start biting the sh*t out of your fingers, but they quickly lower their defenses afterwards, and go back to petting mode. Then, rinse and repeat.
Do you think there are spots that are super-sensitive, like the ears, that humans don't mean to hurt, but our fingers are so big that they do?
They are difficult to understand 😁
Depends on the cockatiel. I had 3 and the first was the sweetest thing ever and would never bite. The other 2 were just as you described.
That's because they don't like some parts scritched, the ears, eyes (yes, I know, who would've thought you shouldn't scritch their eyes, but people do) and their feather crest.

I think they get irritated when you get near their eye and every time he looked angry the person's finger was extremely close to the eye. I dont think it was unhappy I just think it thought something was going to give its eyes the touchy touchy

Omg my cockatiel does this when i pet him! He makes these cute little squeaks and yawns a lot. He also loves it when im giving him belly kisses cause his wings immediately go to heart wings.

Its been day 4 since i got my new cockatiel. Day 1 he was super shy,
Day 2 he learn on how to step up my fingers
Day 3 he sits on my shoulder and day 4, today,, he lets me pet all over him especially his head.. i will show 1 finger above his head and he will chips so softly and then he will shove his head on my finger asking to be petted.

I had the same exact color and bird who loved to have her neck scratched all the time. Every time I held her when she was around, she would lower her head by my cheek, or my hands and just want her neck to be scratched or pruned. Now I own a pineapple conure and he's great! I've had him for 9 years already! Got him for emotional support from losing my gf through tragedy. It has helped.

My cockatiel Chipper likes to get his head petted. Recently he likes getting and receiving “beaky kisses.” For the most part, he’s very sweet, interactive and loves to show his vocal abilities. I never tried the overall scratching as shown in this video-I’m not sure if Chipper would be game for it. Thanks for the upload.

No, he didn’t want the scratches but this person just would not stop, so every now and then he would extremely briefly crane his neck for them.
This is not how you form a healthy bind with your tiel. This is how you form a dependance and submission based relationship.
I use my five fingers to scratch the neck of my sisters cockatiel, and she makes a sound like she is talking to me! Its very funny!

Sweet thing it is. Exactly the same behaviour as my parrotlet. Yawning, affectionate biting while chirping and tuning the head to get a good scratch on the neck.
It's quite an effort to keep a parrot as a house pet. It really needs a social life. At least 2 hrs a day. It has an "appetite for destruction" going on while roaming the house. I now have 3 pegs with biting toys attached that are ok to attack - a pencil on a spring is the best. Like a fencing game. LOL
