Man, I remember when this movie used to play on the lifetime channel all the time. I'd always watch it. Brings back good memories of relaxing at home in summer/fall, wrapped up in a blanket, and binge watching romcoms
Ahhh yes. I was probably in middle school or something just skimming through the cable channels and came across this movie .
no responsibility, no covid, just vibes
Why did I think the whole movie was gonna be about her living in the Walmart 😂😂
Same here, and I thought Ashley Judd played Natalie's mother. Turns out she's just the nurse lol. I've learned things from this trailer.
It would have been a fun comedy, like that Tom Hanks movie
Dude same
That's how I remember the movie when I watched it as a kid.
I'm currently living a pretty close approximation to this movie. Living in a Wal Mart parking lot for the last week.
@@IkmelAAA the terminal
The movie was very good. Natalie was so young and she is a great actress. It shows us that being nice and kind it attracts positivity and good fortune. That's why Novalee had always help and many friends to support her.
I love this movie, I hadn't seen it in a long time. I can't believe this movie got negative reviews. Screw them that's their opinion, its the story we love
Completely Agree ❤
Every movie gets negative reviews 🤣
Anyone here from Twitter??😂 I’ve never heard of this movie before and needed to know what’s up lol
Ikr 😂😂 why i dont know about this lol
Twitter brought me here as well
Ya guilty
LOL...me too
Just got here because of twitter
Twitter just reached into the deepest darkest corners of my memory. I haven’t given this movie one single thought in almost 15 years. I’m floored right now
Natalie portman was so damn gorgeous and adorable in this movie
when i was 12.. i watched this on vhs maybe 3 times a day xD i loved it!
Me too!!!!!
Lololol same and I read the book I was so obsessed ... looking back it’s definitely not child friendly but whatever lol
A Person i know right? Haha. But it was still sweet and nice.
whar was sweet & nice about a pedophile?
Same
Natalie Portman’s voice and accent in the shots of this trailer remind me SO MUCH of young Georgia in ‘Ginny & Georgia’
Oh my gosh, yess
Omg yes !
One of the best movies I’ve ever watched
Whats with this trailer making it look like a comedy, movie is sad af
I agree I cried a lot. Years later I was a single mom too so now I can feel it in a different way ;_;
Exactly. Especially when she caught the guy sexually assaulting her son. Then she could not report him because gave her all false information about himself
@@jf2930 what?
yeah I was pretty shocked how dark it got
had no idea that (see J F's comment) was coming from the trailer
I was MAD ASF when her mother took her money and abandoned her in that hospital
I saw this movie once on TV as a child, why do I remember it SO WELL??
I once watched this movie and then forgot its name... Now I find it!
Awesome movie, I feel nostalgia
I vaguely remember watching this as a kid! New memory unlocked 🔓
me: Walmart baby?
my mind: the yodelling kid in the Walmart store
Natlie
Portman
Has
THE BEST
ROLES
In Show
Business..
Wonder why???
coz she is good?!
bc she’s a gemini😌
i remember watching this movie. when was pregnant with my first baby. a little girly. but sadly lost my baby during labour. find it hard to watch this movie. because as i was watching this i had this dress i couldnt wait to put on my baby girl was so excited. now the heartache on it.
😢❤❤🤗🤗
That Walmart is no longer a Walmart. The building is basically the same on the exterior, but remodeled on the inside and it’s now the municipal court in Lockhart, Tx. I think about it every time I have to go pay a speeding ticket or appear in court. LMAOOO
“Pez, Twinkie, one of ‘em” 🤣🤣
The movie turns 20 today!
Still can’t believe this was 1 year after Natalie did Phantom Menace
And I learned a while back this was actually based on a book/true story of a woman giving birth in a retailer
The book is written by Billie Letts. Not sure it's a true story. Novel may be based on a real life story.
Actually... TPM was filmed in mid '97, 2-3(?) years before this was filmes
What a stellar cast! All my favourite female actors.
Happy birthday Natalie Portman... I will celebrate watching my favorite carácter you played ever
I love this movie 😍 i watched it again recently after not for awhile and it’s still as great as I remember.
I found out this exists one minute ago and I think it might all be an elaborate prank.
OMG I WAS LIKE WAIT
Stupid trailer but amazing movie. I love it and I have watched it so many times..
Such a good movie. Fornie jumping through the glass was amazing
For some people its a silly movie... For me its one of my favorites... Maybe because I find similar as my wife and I...
We love Natalie
I read this book when I was in highschool. A few years later, I saw this movie. I was amazed that they somehow stick to the plot as in the book, I always want to know who will be picture take the role as the ever loving Jonathan (am I right?). Anyways, the book is good :)
I read the book a long time ago. You're right, they did keep to the book for the most part. But one major difference is in the book Forney was a much younger boy than Novelee and they were friends. In the movie, they were love interests. Personally, I liked that they made him a love interest instead.
Good movie. But it's funny now because WAL-MARTS are open 24/7. If you made the movie now she could live there without bother...LOL!
are you for real 😒
So very very True 😂 I guess after this Movie came out I bet that's when Wal-Mart change their Work Schedules 😂
channel siskart funny thing is the Walmart in the movie is a town over lol looks nothing like that now they built a new one
@@yamahaguy1732 i went to a walmart like 2 hours away, it looks like they've never updated it since like 2005, felt like i was in a different timezone
Kylie Kay some get updated some never change lol depends on the location of the store I guess
I remember this movie coming on TV all the time. Aww I miss cable 😆
Classic movie trailers with narration and that give away the climax. 👌
Its crazy how this was based on a true story
Really ??
@Giulia Picchiotti yes
The trailer of this movies sucks because this movie is an amazing movie ! I saw this movie in my hardest moments and it touched my heart and helped me so much. I really recommend watching this one
This is a comfort movie
I probably would have never watched this movie because these movies aren’t my type but it was on tv and I really enjoyed it
Me to 😂 one of my favorite movies now 💀💀💀
When I first saw it as a teenager, I didn't care about it much. But I've probably watched it at least 100 times since then. I love it.
Awesome cast of great actors. I remember when this movie was popular but I never watched it. Funny seeing the trailer again all these years later. I wonder if I’ll ever watch it 😩🤣
It comes on Lifetime all the time, at random times, just have to catch it.
Don’t watch it on tv cause they take out parts of it that are important to the ending story. Go buy it on dvd
Awesome movie thanks for sharing ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
Oh Brother: Totally forgot about this classic!! 🤦♀️🤦♀️
"Americus, what kind of name is that." Great movie. God and karma.
This is one of the sweetest movies and had such great characters. Sally Field 😂🤦🏽♀️💯
Probably the only despicable character ever played by Sally Field
“And we ask forgiveness, Lord, for the whoopie that Mr. Sprock and me committed on this very table.”
💀💀💀
This film was absolutely precious to me and so many others I am sure~~~
Still Love this Move ❤ Loved the book even more ❤
Dam!! Its been years since I've seen this movie. Nice to remember a good one
I love this movie so much
1:09 PLaY Sound Of Music

I liked this movie can't believe this movie is 21 years old I seen it when it first came out
My favorite movie..my life
Good Movie! I just found it on CMD Station. So glad I did...we need more like that today!
Haven't seen this movie in a long while now that I have a baby on the way. Been wanting to watch this movie but dk where to find it on just to watch it 😊😍
oh god, we need to get out of twitter
Straight From Twitter !!!!😅
💜2022💜I love this movie
Never even heard on this movie before. Cool. They were both in Heat.
I remember this.
“20th Century Fox presents. Natalie Portman. Ashley Judd. Stockard Channing. And Joan Cusack. “Where The Heart Is”.”
What the heck are you two doing.. hahahaha..
Keep going, dudes..!
I love this movie!!!
Am I the only one who has read the novel before finding out that there's a movie adaptation? The novel was dark and sad af.
Whaaaaat? I didn't know there was a book! ?
The movie is pretty sad and dark too. This trailer literally only showed the lighthearted funny bits.
came from twitter as i suspect everyone rolling in now has! i’m intrigued but i don’t want to pay to watch it lol
Same.
What like 3 or 4 dollars is too much?
It’s on Amazon prime, and there’s a 1 week trial on it
Solarmovie
Great movie!!! I enjoyed it
This trailer is basically all the things I remember about this movie
Sometimes it's hard to don't want to look over your shoulder
'Cause you don't want to remember where you've been
There'll come a time you die,
If you could only hold her
'Cause i know that's where i am
So listen with all your heart
Hold it inside forever
You may find all your dreams have already come true
Look inside and find the part that's leading you
'Cause that's the beat of a heart
Sometimes you'll drown it out with all your rage and thunder
Sometimes you'll drown it out with all your tears
There'll come a time when you hear it and you'll wonder
"where in the world have i been?"
So listen with all your heart
Hold it inside forever
You may find all your dreams have already come true
Look inside and find the part that's leading you,
'Cause that's the beat of a heart
No one can tell you how to get there
It's a road you take all by yourself
(all by yourself)
All by yourself
So listen with all your heart
Hold it inside forever
You may find all your dreams have already come true
Look inside and find the part that's leading you
'Cause that's the beat of
Oh it's the sweetest sound,
'Cause that's the beat of a heart
I love this movie
Jeremy Toback - "You Make Me Feel" (1999) trailer song 1:45
I named my now 18 year old daughter Novalee because of this movie
This movie is awesome
I love this book
I loved this movie!
Love this movie 💕
A show everyone needs to see
Does anyone know what's the name of the narrator? That voice is iconic!
I get this movie and Anywhere but here mixed up. Both great.
Omg, I watched this movie on tv when I was very very young, I could not remember anything than crying so hard and the scene whe she was alone and prgenent at the gas station, I searched about it for more than 16 years until I asked Chatgpt about this story and it gave me the name of it , I came to cjeck if it is right and I feel very somthing Ican not describe , I will watch it again to find what hit me when I was a xhild like that as I barely cry 🥹❤
Great movie. Very cute.
I'm here from twitter 🤣 1000% bout to watch this just for the Walmart baby
Any good recommendations for movies like this? This enriched my Walmart experience
Wow, they really don’t make movies like they used to do they.. This looks great!!
I was literally obsessed with this movie and book when I was like 10
Loved the movie
I love this movie!
Reading the book first...😊
Very lovely movie ! I can watch manny times ! 👍🏻🏆💗
Beautiful true love story movie.
Best movie ever
I watched this movie as a kid and thought this was sad af but 20 years l can only feel rage, so many shity people go free without punishment in this movie.
Natalie portman is the he female Keanu
No, that’s Sandra Bullock
Lol as in never aging ? Definitely I was like oooh a new Natalie Portman movie... oh wait no I saw that 20 years ago.
@@Alicia-vq8jg she does not age. There are people like that.
I agree with you
This is one of the most tonally confused movies I’ve ever watched. If I had to give it a genre, I’d say it’s a Dark Dramedy
Love this movie
I remember my mom watching this when I was little and I was so confused why she was living in a walmart bathroom
I know its a movie, but aren't Wal-Marts open 24/7? Even if they weren't, dozens of night stockers & their managers are there.
I like movies where scenarios are plausible ... like SPIDER-MAN, or Wonder Woman, ot even Jurassic Park ;)
oh ! .. what a Cast !
Can somebody tell me the name of the song
Jesus you actually weren't lying.
Can anybody please tell me what is the name of the 2nd song in this trailer? "you make me feel...falling down..."?
Literally tried to find it today because it was in my head
@@sarahwalsh1412 hey turns out the song is called "you make me feel" by Jeremy Toback
Che mi avete ricordato.😱
I remember reading the book and hating it.
The book is just as good
❤
This movie is brought to you and sponsored by Wal-Mart. I don’t mind, I thank Wal-Mart for giving life a better meaning.
Good movie 👍
