I am coming to Koh Samui in May, will stay there for 40 days. Can you give me some tips and info, what should I know before arriving there? Thank you in advance.
40 days in Samui!? That's great. What made you decide to do so there? And here you go, this video can really help: ua-cam.com/video/dWNiALx6ZEw/v-deo.html
@@GregorBrown It was a 'let's go to work from Thailand next month? Let's go.' kinda decision, made two days ago so we are now chasing visas and accommodation. Thank you for the response
Fisherman's Village -- quaint? ...yeah, it's a great spot to visit -- especially for the night market, but not at ALL how I'd describe it. Thanks for the tip on Ban Tai and Bang Po... I'm returning for an extended stay this winter -- I usually stay in the east end of Maenam, at Silent Beach Treehouse. I look forward to visiting these other two spots you mentioned. And I'm interested in your guidebook (app) -- there's SO much more of Koh Samui that I've yet to explore -- that will come in handy on my next trip.
It sounds like you already start to know the island quite well and have you been there many times? And you're right it's such a great little island with so much to explore and worth an extended trip there. I may be back as well that's winter as I'm going to be in Thailand
Interesting choice of beaches…I’ve swam at the first three and they had one thing in common…rough sand and once you got past waist deep in the ocean, the sea bed was mud..not sand.😮
It could be the time of the year and the seasons and also that being said not everyone looks for similar things when they're judging up the quality of a beach the good thing is that the island is blessed with many beach options
