I've been going samui since 2004. Last time 2017. It has been going down hill for years in lamai and chewang. Always best to get out and about on bike and then you can find some amazing beautiful places.
Couldn't agree more Richard. That's exactly what we did... the Island has so much more to offer than those popular places. Thank you for your comment Richard 🖤
Great job guys - what a lovely way of life before the little one goes to school. I will be in Samui in a month so your video has been very helpful. Good luck
Thank you so much… I’m sure you’ll have an amazing time☺️!!! If you have any questions don’t hesitate to send us a message. You can message us over on Instagram. Glad to help 🖤🖤🖤
I hope your planning to visit Koh Phangan, it’s my favourite island of Thailand, there’s a lot more to the island than the Full Moon Party. Most amazing beaches, waterfalls, viewpoints and much less touristy. Development is on a very small scale, also you are spoiled for choice for restaurants, many are run by foreigners who put there whole passion into the food, even quite a lot of accommodation are run by foreigners. But there’s still the friendly Thai locals of course!
Hey Roy... We are absolutely going to Phangan next 😊 then on to Koh Tao. We heard that Phangan is more relaxed and aesthetically beautiful. Thank you for your support Roy. Look forward to hearing from you again 🖤🖤🖤

Just discovered your channel, loved this vlog, makes me want to go back to Thailand, back to Koh Samui. Compared to other recent UA-cam vlogs of the island, you guys did a perfect job on making us, the audience feel as if we there with you guys ❤
You are looking so beautiful in white dress and you have lovely eyes and cute smile. Very nice ambience at Fishermen's village. It is good to know you liked Fishermen' s village and you have given good information about the stay in Koh Samui. Your child also liked the fire show with you and his dad.
We are heading to samui in December, have 4 nights at Crystal bay yacht club, was hoping this video was going suggest some specific hotel resort. We wanted to add 3 more night in the more north east side, maybe Melia resort. Coco tam restaurant looks awesome
I lived on Samui for 3 tears up until 2014. Love watching recent videos of the island to see how much it has changed. I was based in Lipa Noi and spent way too many boozed up nights in Lamai which was the place to be at night for single guys lol. Now married, older and back home in London with my Thai wife, we are planning a return visit to Samui and Phuket soon (her best mate works in a dive centre there). Congrats on the video but please practise the pronunciations 555. Enjoyed the video and keep up the good work :)
We had our honeymoon in bophut (fisherman's village), the two weeks there was so much more than we could have asked for. We loved the food, beach and most of all the people. They were so friendly, amazing culture..
Hi guys from Simmo in 🏴 Just spent my lunch break catching up with your vids. The pig Island looked fun and hot and bright? The fire show was outstanding 👏 I think myself and Julia could really relax there around the North there. Stay safe and well and have fun 👍 🏴🏴🇹🇭🙏
Hey Keith & Julia… great to hear from you☺️ Around Fisherman’s Village is amazing and our favourite place on Samui. The whole vibe is very chilled. It has a fairly large ex pat community so there are less locals trying to sell the touristy attractions or excursions. Great atmosphere. Nyh LOVED pig island.. he was not happy about leaving at all🤣. Thank you for watching guys.. it means a lot😊🖤🖤
We went for the day initially. We had a scooter that we was renting for the duration of the stay so we took that. But it's easy to get a taxi from Cheweng to Fishermans, definitely worth it for the day trip. Try and go on the day of the night market too! Think it was a Friday but double check when you get to Samui. You'll have a great time!! 🖤
Informative vid! Would you recommend staying at Fisherman village area or a bit further away? We’re looking into the area between fisherman’s village and Chongmoen beach. It’s a bit more secluded so we do need a car or taxi to go around. We’ve 2 little kids (1y and 3y). From your experience is it better to just stay in the Fishermans village area or just stay further away?
How did u move around koh samui with a baby ? When i was there last year i didnt have a baby and was biking around. Not sure what to do this time... especially at night
Great video guys love your vibe, going to Samui in two weeks but still not booked accommodation as undecided which resort, looks like fisherman’s village has top spot, we have 11 days do you think it’s worth splitting the resorts to 5 and 6 days or is it easier to just do day trips to islands etc ? Thanks
May I ask the name of the Beach & Restaurant you were at watching the Fire Show Please! Also any recommendations for a lovely Hotel on the Beach for My Wife & I - Elderly Couple. We like a beer etc. ha! ha!
Hello Eleise, hello Lawrence, and your handsome little boy Nye. I hope I spelt it right. I have been looking for more of your video's but I couldn't see any new ones. I thought to myself that you all are on the next step of your journey. Then to my good luck, you were like God sent. While I was watching a video of Koh Samui. From the corner of my eye. I saw this video, and said to myself. I recognise Eleise, and clicked the video. How are you'll keeping. Are you still in Thailand. We are still having a lot of problems with Covid and Omicron, and things are changing every day. In fact I have made up my mind to go to Thailand next year. I would like to stay 5 nights in Koh Samui and 5 nights in Phuket. Could you suggest any nice hotels or resorts in Koh Samui, and in Phuket. I went to a travel agent but she gave me the s----. She said I could go only for 3 nights in Koh Samui an 3 nights in Phuket. I was pretty upset and rang the office and asked for the girl who sent me the email. I was very nice when I spoke to her and said who is paying for the trip. Me or you. This time Lawrence I really want to have a good holiday both in Koh Samui and Phuket. I haven't been on a holiday since 2019, and I am really tired of working on my land and not enjoying my life. Thank God most of my projects are now finished. But I have a problem I am a farmer, and I have sheep, chickens, Emus and a lot of Koi and Gold fish, close to 500 or more. I do not know who I can trust to look after my animals.
