Can I ask. I see you have a size small with the 4x4 ladder size. I get indents in the inner ceiling of the tent. Does this happen to you? How do you avoid that?
Hi, it does happen. I find if i pull the ladder all the way forward it helps, and obviously try not to put bedding under it. How has your experience been with the tent over all?
Hi, yes i can. The tent has to sit further forward than I would prefer but the way it is mounted the tail gate can open. I position it with only 1/8 of an inch to spare. One thing to be careful about is the latch. If you have it that tight and the latch hangs down it will hit. I did that once and got a little dent in the flare. Before opening the tailgate you'll just have to make sure the latch is folded up. I have since put a piece of neoprene foam with a sticky back (you can find it on amazon), on that spot, that way if it happens to touch, it won't damage the paint.
You are going to spend $3500 to sleep in a tent? That is insane, you can get a ground tent a Gazelle 3T for $250 and it sets up in 90 seconds, save you $3250 for something important
why are you going to spend $250 to sleep in a tent? That is insane, a sheet and 2 sticks should cost you 3 dollars and sets up in 89 seconds, save you $247 for something important.
@@camaroboi13 Why would you spend $3 on 2 sticks, when you can sleep directly on the ground. Setup in 0 seconds. Then you can spend $250 on something important.
Why did you stop making vids. Your work on this Jeep is nice.
nice High altitude
howd you get your tent painted?
Hi, thank you! I painted it myself. Bought a few cans from the local auto paint store.
@@totisviribus2616 what kind of spray paint did you use? and has it held up well? thanks!
How long is the strut fully extended?

Do you ever go through a car wash with the Columbus RTT?
I can't say that I have. I wouldn't necessarily see an issue as long as in total you don't exceed the height limits of the car wash.
Hy buddy, can you open the back door with the tent mounted? Thx
