I bought the Starypad on a whim as a potential solution for problems I encountered with other control surfaces. I mainly work in Kontakt and have a Native controller keyboard controller but need a slider and triggers. The starypad solved my problems .It is easily mounted on my keyboard, has very good control of start, stop rewind etc of my Daw and the pads are as good as anything I have worked with. I’m a fan of starypad….and all the price of a reckless night out with a couple of friends ..life is good life is a starypad🙏🙏🏿🎩
Hi, I can get very cheap second hand Akai force + a Maschine MK3, can this device do similar stuff? Thank you.. Good video btw do you work out? If yes..it pays off!
Hi To help answer your question if you havent yet, this simple answer is yes, but no, both are midi devices so send essentially the same signal but the Machine MK3 has imbedded compatibility with its company’s DAW to be paired with, it can be used for other midi purposes ofcourse but it’s hardware workflow is designed to be paired with native instruments daw, the Force on the other hand is entirely seperate as it is a standalone unit meaning it doesn’t need to be paired with any sort of computer or vst host as it has its own on board sounds, plug-ins, effects and sequencers. It can also ultimately send midi if you wanted to use it in a non standalone setting, but it’s designed to function as an all in one music compositional and performance tool.
were you able to get the controls on this to map to reason? the pads read but the control functions don't. tried to use the software but it didn't change anything on the controller

First video of yours I ever saw and I am a fan already! Thank you so much!
I'm glad it works for you, but what do you do on your computer that allows you to make the beat? There are so many missing steps
wicked... was hoping to find a video on this... it looks good, i just wish the pads were normal sized like MPD's and Presonus Atom
is there a full tutorial on how to setup the starrypad?
This is agonizing. Downloaded audacity and the editor, there is nothing online anywhere that helps people figure this out that aren't experienced.
I’m having the same issue
Thank you Tami
