The Best Small Chicken Tractor For Our Homestead

This is the best small chicken tractor design for our property.
You don't need big open fields to put chickens on grass. Our land is not very open and is very uneven, but this small chicken tractor can maneuver effortlessly around our homestead giving the chickens access to even the smallest patches of grass while keeping them safe from predators.

We built a small "chicken tractor" for our small dogs to let them be outside during the parts of the day when we are not home and to keep them safe from predators like coyotes and bobcats. Then when we come home from work we let them out and take them back inside the house.

Yes they are still sturdy and strong but light enough to easily move.

Normal rain is fine but I’d make sure the tractor isn’t in a low spot with standing water in especially bad storms.

@@LittleMountainLife exactly...animals that care for, protect and raise up their young, live in communities, or a primate are your only other examples. So would you raise up in a cage and eat a monkey, ape, or gorilla? Then why not eat dog, cat, horses or donkeys?
