- In this video I talk about learning to feel again after years of numbing my feelings with alcohol. Mind, body and spirit are all crucial to your success when it comes to quitting drinking alcohol.

Great video. My story exactly
It takes a lot of strength and bravery to feel sometimes. I admire what you are doing.
Wonderful to watch your progress and experience, thank u!
Today is 11 days without a sip. Let's go!
I remember after I stopped drinking, I was uncomfortable but the fog lifted quickly and I could begin to really see things clearly. I never want to forget how that felt to open my eyes :) sounds like you’re experiencing that great feeling
Day 11 - Oct 5, 2022
Wasn't planning on making an update until day 14, but something happened today worth mentioning. Had a mishap at work. Double gasketed an oil filter for the 2nd time in my 11 year career. Made a big mess that I spent about 2 hours cleaning. Normally that would of set me off and made me come home and pound back a few beers, but I dealt with it like an adult and moved on with my day. It was an eventful moment in my sobriety journey.
That's great! Getting through the "tough days" without going back to alcohol is what starts to solidify your success. The more of those type of days I get through, the more I realize I don't "need" alcohol any more.
I am on day 11. I want a drink so bad..........Detox was brutal like a bad flu. I am past that......Just craving but I notice that I crave between 12-4 in the afternoon so I save my housework and errands I have to do for that time to keep me busy. UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I just keep thinking...If I drink...there goes the money,,,the clearer head..........the good sleep.......not being hungover and having to drink to get rid of the hangover..the list goes on and on........This is hard but worth it. Every day I dont drink, I feel i have climbed a mountain......or finished a marathon.
I totally get it. One day seems like a huge victory, and it is! Especially in the beginning. Now being on day 146 I can tell you that life gets amazing and the cravings fade. Commit, put in the work and give it time. That's what makes the magic happen! Stay strong! All the best to you!
Hi Connie! Just checking in to see how you are. I’m on day 4 myself.

@@jordanlang6527 I drank one day 4 months ago after not drinking for 5 months and was so damn sick for 3 days so did not touch it since. Thank you for asking. How are you doing?
The process of changing from always 'doing' to 'being' is not easy but agree it is totally necessary for this process to be successful. Day 11 here.
Keep up the good work! 👊
I hate the discomfort but I know I need it. thanks Nate. day 11 all still winning
so far.
You’re a beast bro!!! Really proud of your accomplishments. I’m going on 2 months sober
OK I started your series from day one binge watching 😂(and I realize you’ve gone over well over a year so maybe the equipment changed and I haven’t gotten there yet) but I like the car talk videos because the sound is much better, less echoey and clearer.
I appreciate you, and what you’re doing to help us!
