My name is Jess and I started a mobile detailing business in May of 2023 with absolutely ZERO knowledge. I am sharing my journey and lessons learned as I go and grow through business.
In today’s video we detailed our second ever RV. This RV was in need of a full exterior wash, oxidation removal/wax, roof cleaning and rubber roof protection.
RV’s have been a massive learning curve, as it is not something that I have a lot of experience with, but as this detail progressed, so didn’t our process.
If you’ve been curious about starting a mobile detailing business and want to know what it’s REALLY like, hit that SUBSCRIBE button now ‘cause I don’t hold anything back!

I've done 2 RV's, and I won't do anymore. Both times customer said it just needed a wax, and both times it was extremely oxidized, and it needed serious work. Even the pics they showed me didn't help, it was way worse then what the pics showed. There's so many regular cars out there to detail, screw RV's lol

haha honestly, I want nothing to do with RV’s, this was a friend’s that my husband said yes to which is the only reason we did it. Not my jam! 🤪

Rv's are not bad if you use the right products and techniques, they are a lot different then auto detailing yet similar, Superior products makes a great Rv soap Road warrior it cuts them black streaks like butter, And polishing gel coat is best used with a rotatory buffer with wool pad pro tip is to use a spray bottle of water and get the square you're going to work with wet and heavy cut gel coat compound then polish till it comes back perfect then come back with a sealant or ceramic coating a lot of money to be made doing rv/trailers.

U should try Adam’s wheel and tire cleaner, it’s way more effective than brake buster

It's a great cleaner but Brake Buster is a pH 10 and Adams is a pH 12. Which is a huge difference in reality. Once you get above pH 11 you have to be conscience of time applied.

15:00 $900 for 2 persons $450 a piece divide that by 3 days you made $150 a day each. Minus the products and taxes, how much did you guys made in profit? 🤔

The only time we accept RV jobs is when the customer is okay with our agreed hourly rate and in no rush. Usually, 1/10 of our inquires actually go ahead and book which is fine LOL.

7:15 🤣😂🤣 AGAIN, YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING! Please take notes, AGAIN!
California Custom "CLEARCOAT" Cleaner and Wax is the wrong product for that job!!!!!!!!:
    - It's an RV!
    - RV's dont have a clearcoat, they have a gelcoat!
The right product for that job should have been: California Custom "NON-CLEARCOAT" Cleaner and Wax.
If your mission is to entertain the viewer with this clown show, then mission accomplished. SORRY but this has nothing to do with detailing at this the moment!
