@@haliesung980 Interesting, I got a bottle of that recently, good to know it can work too. I bought the duraline inglot a while back after seeing vids on that (and I have some loose pigments it's good for).
@@discord37 inglot duraline was a little more than what i wanted to spend for something that I'd use just for my super shocks, so I was really happy to find out that the ordinary's squalene would work too! And it was only $6 :)

If you have a Super Shock that you absolutely love, but it dried out you can revive it by adding a tiny bit of oil! I can't tell you how many times I had a Super Shock Shadow that I loved, but was discontinued and when it dried out I thought it was gone forever. But I discovered this simple trick and now I never have to worry about it... Well, until it's gone lol.
@@r.e.pajigal Not if you just add a tiny bit. What I do is put a thin layer of oil on my finger tip and then work it into the shadow. It moistens it just enough to bring back the original consistency. And then I just do that every time I use a dried up shadow. I've heard you can also use setting spray, but it has to be a dewy setting spray, which I don't own. I would imagine a hydrating facial mist could also work well.
Idk tho i tried adding oil to mine but the the oil went bad and made the shadow go bad so i had to throw it out. I found a tint bit of clear silicone primer works better

Loved this video Judy! Thank you for swatching all of your Supershocks for us! Yes Colourpop used to have soooo many amazing colors. They just suddenly started to repeat themselves. And I believe their old formula lasted much longer. I still have a few shades from 3 years ago and they're still moist and soft and amazing, while the more recent ones tend to dry up much sooner.

Such a satisfying calming joyful video :) This is asmr for me. I wanted a few of the Disney singles but for some reason waited and waited and I think they are all gone, so now I think I have to buy the whole set if I want any. Coconut was one of my first 5 (and Issa, also gorg) and it was one of the last colorful ones until recently, now I finally have a nice variety of colors, heavy on the purples, spattering of green, bronze & pink.
i got my first super shock shadow in 2018 and it hasn’t dried out! i’ve never had one dry out. i keep them tightly sealed and inside a zipped makeup bag in a cabinet and even tho i live in one of the driest climates they’re going strong.
I think it was a good choice to go by color because I would imagine it would make it easier to declutter. With the said I imagine it was difficult starting with the golds/neutrals. Next time it may work better to start with a color that has fewer options and then end with your favorite color/golds/neutrals
i wish you would’ve mentioned whether each shade was an ultra glitter or ultra metallic! ik we can see it on the bottom but it would be cool to compare
To the people saying that they can all be revived. That may be true but these are cream products so even if they can be revived, they can still harbor bacteria if they are very old especially since we dip our fingers into them. Just be careful because you don’t want to get a stye or an eye infection from your expired eye cream products. I got a stye from a cream product and it was only 2 years old. If anyone has any tips on sanitizing cream shadows to help keep them fresher longer feel free to share them! 🙂
People use alcohol to press loose pigments back into pans when shadows break. I assume the alcohol would help with any bacteria? You'll have to press it back into the pan if you're adding oil into it either way. I'm no professional though so I don't know for sure.
I miss the super shock eyeshadows.. I wish Colourpop made more… I feel like they forgot about the super shocks bc of the 9 pan palettes… they’re literally the best formula ever!! Would love a super shock palette 🤠
Omg I can just feel how raw your wrist and fingers felt after this. Judy sacrificed the suppleness of her skin to provide swatch entertainment for us. T.T
this really highlights how many similar colors they release. they release way too much. they discontinue just to rerelease the same thing, and i think it's a crappy business practice just to fuel over consumption. i like what i have from colourpop but i just don't agree with how much they produce. also muse was def not only from the wine collection because i have it from a long time ago (i just looked it up and the muse i bought was from 2016. so they just rereleased it)

I have frog and it’s dry but I use a brush and glitter glue. It dried a few months after I bought it.

Thats why i dont like the ultra glitter based light shades,the colors are not vivid just glittery bling bling , ultra glitter is best for dark colors

super shock shadows haven’t gone anywhere. they just put out 10 brand new ones as their own release last month with back 10 classic ones brought back.
