Finally we get our main light source back and wow, what a difference it makes! So happy to get on this side of our renovation. It was honestly the last piece of our NYC apartment that we needed to reveal (still waiting for the lower level atrium reveal). Now on to decorating the house and styling everything to make it feel complete.

And as you can see, really in my head about where to take my career from here. Very stable and happy with how it is going, but need to find the next and new excitement. Have so many ideas and need to focus on which ones make most sense but first and foremost, the priority of family is my newest goal/realization. I love being a father/husband so much and really want to ensure all my decisions moving forward allow me to thrive in that side of my life. About to be 44 and.......well, you get it.

I’ve followed you guys for a long time, and am always so amazed with all the things your involved in. How can a brain be so busy 24/7? You think up new ideas for your business and before you get something off the ground another thought grabs you and off you go. Hannah does her thing, you do yours, you do things together and on top of all that you’ve included a family, which is an intensely large part of your time. How do you do it all? It’s amazing to see, your home looks beautiful and can’t wait to see it styled. What I love the most about you and Hannah, is where others who have so much get so full of themselves, forget where they once were, it’s nice to see people who value what they have and share it all with us, and though I’ll never be able to travel where you go, you take us with you and it feels like I’ve been there, I want to thank you for that.

Thank you for being so transparent about your career pivot. I am dealing with a similar situation after a summer of loss and I'm trying to avoid feeling like a failure. Fear of the unknown is scary and anxiety inducing but the bright side is that there's a lot of room for great things to happen. The future could have something fantastic in store! Gen Z and Millennials put too much pressure on ourselves to succeed. We just have to keep going and find new things that inspire us! Wishing you, Hannah, and your beautiful family the best! You must not lose sleep and depend on coffee. You are doing brilliantly and Amagansett brings in revenue and instagram so go with the revenue and take time for you like you said and the family. The light is divine.
I’m dealing with the same thing right now . My father has been seriously ill since June and it has turned our lives , especially mine upside down as his sole caregiver. Watching him suffer and fight for his life is hard. Thank God he is a fighter 🙏🏽. Now , I’m in therapy asking what does 1,5,10’years look like for me? I feel like my brain is in a vice grip.

I had a friend who died far too early - in her 20's but you are still going and out of respect for that person who would want you to live life to the full make the most of the wonderful life you already have. You are there and be blessed that you have life and loved ones. I visit my parents' grave and miss them but they had their time and their time was up and I can't do anything about it. Just be grateful.

I wanted to watch this again as it resonates with me and although my personal relationships have not been successful my life has. I have had 2 long term relationships and one of 6 years before he cheated but I rely on me not a partner as I did in my marriage. In your case it is different. Getting a good relationship is not easy so I don't prioritise that anymore. They have brought me down so now I love my own time and that is precious.

The grieving process is very real and painful. Please do not hesitate to seek professional help from a reputable, competent and compassionate licensed therapist, grief counselor and couple's therapist. Brendan, I absolutely love your vlogs,it’s really precious that you have invited us into your home and life via this platform… I might be bias but I can’t imagine you improving an already perfect formula…I wish you even more followers… however i really think you and Hannah should merge your UA-cam channels, I know you are separate individuals with separate interests but I think as a pair you can grow tremendously on this platform… that’s my 2cents
To get the balance in life you prioritise and you need calm. You have people working for you which helps. I brought my children up with no help and could only work one day as my ex husband worked away alot. Children came first and the home and then career. I was poor but didn't mind. Now I am more of a priority and the children need to fend more for themselves!! It is a battle when my sister gives them money (estranged from my sister) and they need to do what I did and stand on your own two feet. No one gave me money and I loved being in control of my finances and when I got divorced the priority was the children, career and home and so it shifts as you age. You are at the busiest time but also the more you take on the more you will have to juggle. Health, mental and physical is so important. Being ambitious comes at a price and I never was ambitious but now realise how important I am and my life as I have served and time to serve me which I am finding amazing. Grandchildren too but they have parents and so you have the love but not the responsibility. Life changes.

Try Journaling. Where there's a busy life, there's room to forget. You never want to forget details whether it's business or personal. It's also a reference to remember the small things that will one day make you laugh, cry or feel proud. That said, raising a family is a huge sacrifice. As a mother of 4 I learned it the hard way. The good thing is that you guys are financially secure and you have help which allows you to manage your day to day with people you trust. Continue a healthy communication, self awareness, making your family your #1 priority and surrounding yourselves with those that elevate your person rather than bring chaos and disruption. You guys are not surviving Life, you're Living it and from my vantage point, you're killin' it. Keep doing what you're doing and in the words of Jiminy Cricket "always let your compassion be your guide." 😊

BF, those are real concerns and shouldn't be taken lightly.
Three observations;
a) Perhaps building on your design inspiration and creating useful products in collaboration with name brands like the ones you've partnered with in the past.
b) Getting your real estate license and working with developers on new construction or gut renovations. Using the empty spaces as staging environments for your products.
c) Using your SM footprint to optimize the first two, building collaborative projects that are not just new but useful and impactful.
BTW, the windows are great but I would be uncomfortable with that much exposure. I'd have to have most of that glass frosted, ijs.
Sometimes you need to stop thinking about it to get the answer. Hang in there. You do so much, too much. But it looks successful. ❤
I think building lego together is wonderful and you and P should continue to build up that wonderful building bond. Baby Claude will want to play too - girls should not be excluded :-) You are just tired and once you have had more sleep you will feel and think better.

Necessary and dofficult
Not depending on anyone else has been a freedom for me. True independence is the best feeling in the world. I enjoyed my work life but as they say you know when to stop. Enjoy while you are young and healthy. You know what is important to you. Try not to juggle too much though.
You are definitely not style-less!!! The corridor downstairs is though and yes can't wait to see that organised as know you love to style.
