- Halo Mega Construx are some of my favorite all time building sets. This Halo 3 ODST inspired set is an absolute beast with amazing prints, details, decent figures, and awesome design.
I really wish MEGA and the Halo franchise as a hole were in a better state than they are now. Unfortunately I don't think we will ever see a set like this again.

This is the kind of stuff that makes me wish that the Mega Halo game was made
I'm a LEGO purist, through and through, but dude, when these HALO sets were coming out even I considered picking this up. Any of the Pelicans, really. Mega Construx really didn't pull it's punches when it came to making sets that fans wanted, regardless of expense. They trust the fans to buy the sets that are cool. If LEGO could have learned that lesson at any point in the past four years I might have stuck with them for their Star Wars sets but it's honestly going down hill. With Mega's quality increasing and acquiring more licenses I might just have to give them a second chance. They dont have Star Wars but they do military and TV show stuff all the time, and it's awesome
Sadly mega is at a low point rn largely because of toys r us being bankrupt. However quality wise it is amazing. Quality control errors are almost non-existent and have a very generous parts replacement support system. And of course the sets look clean, top notch (and the figs r miles better than lego)
@dartusmonkus3936 if they just opened an online store with better distribution it'd be better off and maybe on par with lego again
@@skinnyj123they do have an online story, if i recall right its mattel creations(halo). They down side they don't have many sets.
Wow! I almost completely forgot about this set. I wanted it for years but it's one of the few sets that I have never been able to acquire! I think that Halo can be saved. Hopefully Paramount will do a cartoon someday in the vein of cyberpunk and they'll be able to revitalize the fan base

me too! Made these into a moc and set them up as roofs to custom buildings. Combined 2 structures as a full control tower with a custom base.
Damn I remember wanting this. The only mega bloks Spartans I have left are my spartan emile and master chief😢
This is super cool. Halo 3 ODST is probably my favorite in the series. Not much into these sets but it's nice to see it exists.

I’ve got every pelican except this one. I won’t go out of my way to get it but if I’m ever presented with the option to buy it I probably will! This one is peak bungie pelican design, great interior space, nice shaping, and can carry a warthog! The new pelican is a disappointment in interior space and can’t carry a warthog but still a good upgrade.

Got this when it came out. Came with two brute chieftain heads but no torso.😪 very upsetting to my 12 year old self

We’re never gonna get another set like this again? Mega still makes big set’s though? We got the halo infinite pelican that’s like this, and the 200 dollar elephant not too long ago. We probably won’t get another nmpd pelican though since that was part of the signature series
I think he means that we won't get another pelican that comes with a landing pad and decent sized control tower building

@@user-ft6vu4gk2p that's fair enough, admittedly this particular set is from a few years ago. I can't say anything about Marvel but some of the newer Lego Star Wars sets look pretty cool. What's your opinion on the newer Halo sets?
@@mochalavender9398 The lego bricks looks outdated especially the minifigures I prefer lego star wars or marvel sets.
