I expect to have corners cut on non official builds, like extra building time and non paper instructions but am happy with this for the money you save and the end product looks great. Will always continue to buy these 3rd party sets as the official lego set prices continue to get out of hand.
I'm still a fan of LEGO overall but the quality difference (other than minifigs) isn't great enough like it used to be to justify the steep cost difference. Since the alternatives are improving more and more, it's definitely making them viable options!
Correct, they are not real LEGO pieces. Fake pieces and fake figures. I haven't been able to determine the manufacturer yet. I have an inquiry into the company.

For instance, from what I've seen, have to order $400ish worth of product + $100.00 of shipping from Mars Toy for it to be around the same cost per piece. Also, I can get this within 1-7 US Business Days where it takes 1 month + for AliExpress or other vendors. Finally, the customer service is much better when you're dealing with American Bricks. Very responsive, a native English speaker, which helps when things aren't lost via a language barrier!
It's been a couple years, but the last time I tried a Halo set, it was hot garbage. They may have improved since I last tried them to be fair. I also personally don't like untraditional minifigs. But you bring up a fair point! It has been a while. I should review a MEGA set!
@JoshtheBrickworm Mega has improved drastically in terms of quality over the last 6+ years. The parts stick together well, there are almost never any missing parts, the pieces are almost always in perfect condition and not warped or damaged, and all the extra details are printed with no stickers in any of their sets.
You know what's funny dude is that I bought from that website a couple weeks ago and I can finally finally find and build up my Grand Admiral Thrawn's Army with his Night Troopers and be so affordable as well! Also just subbed to your channel as well! I agree with you dude 1000% I love this website and plan to be buying from them for a while or a long time for sure! They have such great produces for minifigures but also they have other stuff too I can buy from which are really great priced and also really awesome looking as well! :D And you know what's even better dude is that for me my order came in a couple of days as well! :D I definately trust them a lot and also will be buying from them a lot and also I got 13 minifigures from them!
Right! They have such a good selection of figures too. They don't have as many options for sets which is a bummer, but they seem to be adding more! It's really hard to tell the difference appearance wise from actual LEGO figures too! Great for photography & mocs! It's really nice to have the shipping in a few business days rather then the 1 month that it can take if you use Temu or Ali or any of the retailers based out of China.

I'm a legends man myself and not a fan Disney Star Wars sans a few of the shows. I enjoyed Kenobi. My Thrawn love comes from the OG Thrawn Trilogy. After I finish my Republic Commando Building Series, perhaps I'll move on to the Thrawn Trilogy. Thrawn sparked my love for all things expanded universe. I've never been an imperial or new republic era builder, I've mainly focused on Clone Wars, but my favorite stories are from the NJO and Thrawn. So perhaps it's time! But for each figure I review moving forward, I'm going to try and do some mocs to go with them since they don't come with a set! So definitely stay tuned!

We're slowly but surely going to get there with army building! Still funding the purchase of figures on my own and it gets expensive even with affordable figs 🤣 That's a great idea with Moff Gideon's Army. I need to find some custom Yuuzhan Vong that won't break the bank too and make an army of them!
I haven't had a mega set that I've liked, granted, I haven't bought one in a while. I've been keeping my eyes out for a good deal on a set to purchase and reveiw, so perhaps my opinion will change.
It's not a fake brand, but it's not real LEGO. I don't mean fake as a negative in this instance, albeit, I haven't had great experience with MEGA products.
Prices are adjusted for inflation, new gunship has better price per piece in comparison to old one if you adjust inflation prices. It's a problem on much bigger scale that you can't bullshit your way through like that.
Yeah it was a bit pricier then other gunship alternatives, but it had some customization to it like the custom stickers for the panels that probably drove up the price.

100% buy fake Lego. Fuck their price gouging. Just be careful with Chinese sellers. Durability is definitely below Lego’s standards, and you _might_ get a different set than what you purchased, but you can get “retired” sets for a fraction of their original/resale prices, I got a decent 2013 style LAAT for like $40, and it’s nearly identical aside from derpy minifigs, only had one technic piece break after I tried doing some mods to a door, but no complaints other than that.
You definitely have to be careful with the sellers you purchase from. I try to only buy sets that use Go-Bricks if I want them to last because they are very good quality. I've yet to have any pieces break. Fake minifigs are hit or miss. Some are great, others are terrible.
