Is the HP Prime capable of solving a single equation for a single unknown that involves complex numbers?
I have the HP35s and love the equation library and equation solver. The HP 50g can't do it...
Hello. I am a new programmer on the HP Prime. Do you have any suggestions on how to make an app like that of triangle solve, but for other shapes, like prisms or platonic solids? I would like for it to have the same UI as the triangle solve app, but with different entry fields and equations.
When I'm pressing NUM key it says that no equation is defined. What am I doing wrong?

Can you explain why you bought this calculator instead of the TI Insprire.
I own a TI Inspire; but I dislike its touchpad interface. Given today's touchscreen technology, there is no reason to rely on such an outdated "mouse" interface especially when the touch interface is so limited in size.
Secondly, I do not like the "everything-is-a-document" approach. This works fine on PC/desktops (e.g. Maple or Mathematica worksheets) because it's much easier to work with a real mouse and do drag and drop for cutting/pasting and manipulating results (e.g. a graph). It really feels like they tried to make the Inspire more or less similar to Mathematica/Maple but on a handheld, and I am of the opinion that it just doesn't port over well due to so much more limited real estate (touchpad+screen).
The buttons themselves are too small for me (and I imagine for many other people). Those are just a few examples of what bother me about the Inspire. Software-wise, the Inspire is pretty good. Speed-wise it seems a bit slow. You should look at the HP Prime's graphing speeds, especially the Advanced Graphing app for graphing equations that cannot be resolved to the form y=
esta aplicacion que nos das para bajar sirve solo para un maximo de 10 ecuaciones? tengo un problema de que cuando tengo mas de 10 ecuaciones el solve comun de mi hp prime no lo hace porque no tengo lugar parra seguir agregando ecuaciones. Espero puedas sacarme la duda, gracias
Press [View] -> Select Page -> Create New Page to add another page of equations to your system.
Gfacias encontre eso y agregue 2 ecuaciones más, o sea en total 12 ecuaciones, pero me da un error cuando apretó la tecla num, que dice: no such var. onda page 1: 3.6064=(T1-T) >T1 . yo tengo todas las variables creadas, y todas las ecuaciones están escritas en mi hp prime y en la de un compañero que tiene la hp 50g con solvesys, y a él le da y a mi no.
Press [View] -> Add/Edit Variable -> add your variable T1
