I'm taking into consideration the apex of each groups natural abilities (exceptions being zanpakuto). So I'm not saying The Almighty vs Ichimonji but the fact that they can have those abilities. If zanpakuto were strictly limited to elemental and melee types then there would've been no draw and they wouldve placed last in the attack section. Fullbring, Zanpakuto, Schrifts, and Hollow abilities can be anything and is determined by that SPECIFIC SOUL. Other wise I'd have to analyze every single individual ability, kido, weapon and try to see which exactly comes out on top.
@@2centswanted113 The reason why I believe Arrancar's Resurrección is more equivalent to a Shikai than a Bankai is that a Resurrección is essentially their 'True form' and the humanoid form the go around as with their Zanpakutō, is essentially their 'Sealed state' similar to the sealed state form of Zanpakutō before Shikai is released. and when they activate Shikai, it is essentially activating their true power, similar to Resurrección. While Bankai is also known as an 'Evolved Zanpakutō' as in their power is being evolved from their true power/intended use similar to Segunda Etapa, or second release. As Segunda Etapa is a kind of evolved Resurrección. Kisuke might not have come to such a conjuncture this much if he had been able to witness Segunda Etapa. I also believe Hollows, potential wise, are the inherent superior race over the sour reapers, as it is said a Vasto Lorde Arrancar releasing their Zanpakutō/Shikai can overpower a captain level shinigami using Bankai,
The boost an Arrancar gets when Ressurected is more resembled to a Bankai than a Shikai and the boosts are actually quite large. Segunda Etapa is just on a completely different level all together. The only thing similar between the normal Ressurection and the Shikai is simply the fact that both are "1st stages". But the amp a Ressurection gives is a lot larger than a Shikai. I'm not factoring in abilities, just raw power. because there are exceptions like Aizen's Kyouka Suigetsu which doesn't give him that much if at all raw power but gives him an absolute broken ability that renders others raw power pretty much useless. Then again, there can exist Hollows who can also create illusion based powers, we simply haven't seen it...
Honestly when I look back at both videos I can see why the verdict is what it is. The Quincies and Arancars have the better version of Abilities then The Soul Reapers that they don't have to rely on their main weapons. The full bringers can pretty much adapt to any situation that the only limitation is their imagination. Soul reapers have a large variety of spells, and uniqueness in their Zanpato but that all comes down to individual power of sword abilites and talent in Kidō spells. When you think about it the Arancar 1st stage resurrection is the equivalent of Shikai and the Soul Reapers had to defeat them with Bankai.
I'm glad you got it, I have had a few comments kind of blatantly miss the way I was evaluating this. I've gotten "Soul Reapers are clearly the strongest they have 198+ kido" but like what does that matter when other species have spells, counters, or more straightforward counters (Wide arcing ceros). @@2centswanted113 I understand what you mean. Considering the soul reaper abilities are so well flushed out while the others not so much they can't see the possibilities. The Shikigami's biggest asset was their sword abilities while the other faction had stronger basic abilities. And Ironically the biggest advantage that the Quincies and Arancars have over the Soul Reapers is that they have the most reliable long range weapons in Arrows and Ceros. Kidō may have a big variety but It's slow in comparison.
And I mean really while a soul reaper is taking at least 1 or 2 minutes to cast the spell a Quincy could be firing 10 to thousands of arrows at them while an Arancars is Charging up a powerful laser at you! A laser! 😰
@@michaelmurray8134 Yes! That's why I brought up Ggio Vega easily countering a level 30 bakudo with a quick cero. Or even a cero oscuras has as much destructive power as a 88 Hado but much quicker. But the reason they didn't lose is because Soul Reapers also have Danku which can hard counter cero but that doesn't necessarily give an advantage cuz as you said "Death Lazer go Brrr" 🤣🤣🤣
Quincy is also my personal favorite race of the series. But I enjoyed both videos and wanna check out more you earned yourself a subscriber, I really hope that your channel grows and becomes a lot more popular. I'll definitely recommend this to friends who also enjoy bleach.
I would give it to the Shinagami/Hollow. They're just way to versitle and op with their abilities. The Quincy/Full bringers seem to benefit from outside power to much. Full bringers have a piece of soul king and quincy can be upgraded by Yhwach/Jugram.
But that's how they get their power. Can't take away how they get their power all Quincies are decendants of Ywach whether wandenreich, Echt, or Gemischt. Even if I don't use the sternritter, Letz Stil is a bigger power up than Bankai and they can still make diverse Reishi Armor and weapons.
@@2centswanted113 Yeah I understand that however it's still an outside source and something that can be taken away. Wasn't that the point of the last arc with Jugram betraying Yhwach. He basically killed off all the Quincy since they were using borrowed power. As far as the full bringers go anyone can have a fraction of the soul king and when you look at that they're not as special.
@@diamantemrobinson No the quincy were all still alive and had their schrifts, there are also natural schrifts for Quincy. (JUGO, Uryu, Royd/Loyd). The quincy still have their abilities post aushwalen. Fullbringers still need Hollow reiatsu to ignite that dormant power but it's still theirs. Plus you could say the same about soul reapers not everyone has potential to be a soul reaper they are just empowered souls and they still need a zanpakuto (outside power) that could be taken away.
@@2centswanted113 majority of the quincy are dead though because of Yhwach and yes while I do believe they all had natural abilities they still weren't that powerful overall without Yhwach or Jugram boosting their abilities. The ones who lost Yhwach support quickly became weak and relied on the shinigami teaming up with them for revenge. Yhwach, Jugram, the soul king, and Ishida are anomalies amongst Quincies. Jugram and Bazz-B Flashblack pretty much backs this up. There's a reason why the shingami easily dominated them originally in the 1st war. My point still stands though anyone can be a full bringer if they have a piece of the soul king and we know shinagami can possess a piece of him like Ichigo, Matsumoto, and Ukitake. That's not all the way true though the asauchi is a piece of equipment that the shinagami imprint their souls on no different than what a full bringer does. And as you said in your video it's linked to that soul reaper as shown in the one thousand year blood arc.
@@diamantemrobinson I really think your misremembering the events of the story. Nanana was about to kill everyone when Bazz-B betrayed him. So they could help them get to the royal palace. They still had all of their abilities except volstandig. Jugram wasn't boosting them and Bazz-B was fighting evenly with RG Renji and RG Rukia. Just because they are attached by their soul doesn't mean the bankai can't be taken away. When broken bankai can reform its still an outside ability. As opposed to being born with it like FB and Quincy
My favourite race has to be the Hollows/Arrancar. Just absolutely love how Mr Tite Kubo designed them and what they stand for and represent. As my favourite Arrancar has to be Grimmjow and Nel.
Fullbringers really don't get the credit the deserve. Zanpakto had to be invented. Fullbringers can essentially turn anything they desire into a zanpakto over time. I feel like with a training ark itd be hard to beat them on equal terms lol.
Shinigamis combining their abilities has so much potential: 1) kido + Hakudo = Shunko 2) Zanpakuto + Kido = Ichibei's secret kidos 3) zanpakuto + Hakudo + Zanjutsu = Final Getsuga Tensho technically speaking if Ichigo ever learns Shunko he could probably combine it with Final getsuga for a total of all shinigami powers 💀
Kido, hakudo and shunko are all techniques that can be learned by anyone they are not exclusive to shinigamis also zanpakuto's can be robbed or used by anyone regardless of their race so the shinigamis don't got much going for them.
@@living-anomaly2891 Bruh, nobody aside from Shinigami uses Kido in the series. At most we have, Quincy spells, that works differently. And Full bringers using manipulating the environment to get similar powers. And Shunko is based on Kido, so it also won't work. Hakudo is hand to hand combat, so that's the only one that can probably be used by others edit: Zanjutsu, similarly to Hakudo is sword combat so that to.
@@filipe_paixao Aizen use kido even though he isn't truly a shinigami but that's probably because he's evolved but whatever, kido are reiatsu techniques/spells not shinigami abilities as long as you have enough reiatsu and know how to cast the kido technique/spell you wanna cast you can use it. It no where in the show implies or straight up says that kido is something only shinigami can use it also constantly calls them techniques which implies they can be learned.
@@living-anomaly2891 Aizen started as a Shinigami of course he can use it. he even still has his zanpakuto powers. It's more like he transcended both shinigamis and hollows by first seeing what they can achieve when merged together. Alongside that, because the hogiouku is made of pieces of the soul king (part Quincy, shinigami and full bringer) he became a transcended being that's partially all species.
Souls and spirits aren't the same thing. There's Phisical matter, spiritual matter and souls which are intangible to even spirits. Yhwach's power stealing uses that soul, that's why his power stealing light wasn't blocked by the spirit blocking power of that squad 0 member. Full bringers control that same soul, while Quincy control the spiritual matter (Yhwach is an exception, since his power stealing light and his power granting uses soul control power)
The Shinigami really do hold top spot due to organisation/culture, outstanding individuals, tech/knowledge and numbers. In that order. If we abstracted the four groups from the setting to play with them like an RTS and set each group on an even base they would unquestioningly have the worst prospects. But real life and narratives aren't fair so Shinigami dominance it is.
you forgot one thing with the hollows (though i doubt it would effect the outcome) hollows heal their injuries when ressurecting (like we saw with nnoitora), witch means if they were smart they could in most cases win a war of attrition by waiting on releasing until they have sustained sugnificant damage or their enemy being run tired
At first I was a bit confused, and was one of those people who didn’t really get how the Shinigami versatility would be overtaken but after the examples given, and taking some time to think I actually understand the points you’re bringing. Good video!
this is an interesting concept, but I feel you can hit a wall really quickly. Both the Quincy and the Arrancar/Espada were modified/buffed by someone/thing else. The hollows were granted restrictions via the Hogyoku, theirfor, they could be stronger than they were before, due to this. So is it fair to judge them like they are normal Hollow? Similar with Quincy as the powers of almost all Quincy were granted to them by Juha. If it wasn't for him, they would be pretty weak with only a few exceptions with natural powers. You could even argue this for Fullbringers as they need to have parents that were attacked by hollows (if I recall at least) to even gain powers at all. Thus, I say there are only three Races. Shinigami, Hollows (normal hollows, no Espada/Arancar) and Humans (Quincy and Fullbringers are both basically humans if you remove their third-party enhancements via Juha or Hollows). Personally, I say Shinigami are the top. They are very versatile in their abilities, plenty intelligent, have very long lifespans, and have so many different potentials for abilities that it just seems right. Following that are the Hollows. Though they also have a wide number of abilities they can have like Shinigami, They lack intelligence normally, unless they have consumed enough other hollows. This is also another downside as they are constantly fighting each other, leading to normally short lives. They have MASSIVE potential with Vasto Lorde forms, as it's been stated that if like 10 Vast lords existed at once, Soul Society may be doomed. But given the circumstances on how to become one, it's unlikely that would ever happen. Humans (unsurprisingly) are last. Most have no powers, but some have the potential to gain them in specific circumstances are met that typically involve involvement via another race, making them not count.
Finally got around to watching it bro, i've been so hyped for the verdictt. Srsly did not expect the Shinigami to be dead lastt. Good video, keep it up my friend :)
Great videos! I laughed at 11:32 where Ulquiorra trades swings with Ichigo. Ichigo is far from being formally trained in swordsmanship and gets dumpstered by Ulquiorra until he busts out his hollow mask. I do like the idea that Ulquiorra trained( maybe with Aizen) , instead relying on his base strength like the other espada
Ichigo is most definitely trained Ikkaku says as much in their fight. But a better example would be Starkk and Shunsui. No soul reapers sword play overcame the Hollows in their fights they all seemed even. I'm not sure what your referring to when talking about Ulquiorra training or base strength tho 🤔.

The hollow race is based on the more instinctual part of the soul so its only natural that Ulquiorra would be able to keep up with ichigo since his body should be able the find the best way to fight in its own

Best race in Bleach? Well, aside from the newly formed Ichigo race, I'd have to say Hollow (assuming you became a vastolorde), or a Soul Reaper (assuming you can get into the 13 court guard squads).
Well before we get to that, I've gotta add, Vasto lordes aren't inherently that powerful, they usually get stomped by arrancars regardless of previous rank
Soul Reapers cultivate the Soul. Hollows cultivate the body, and Quincy their divine bloodline. Fullbringers are the anomaly because they're basically Wal-Mart brand Soul Reapers but with hollow reiatsu as a foundation. Which makes sense as technically they're hybrids: humans that had their soul mutated by fusing with hollow reiatsu in the womb. Moreover, their fullbrings are eerily similar to Zanpakuto, and the soul domination was compared to Kido in nature. In other words, on the surface it looks like they'd be equal, but then you need to look into the purebloods, the truest embodiment of each and differences start popping up. Soul Reaper Nobles don't actually have any inate advantage, they're just born with more spirit energy than most. For example there's nothing seperating Byakuya from Renji, a human who became a Soul Reaper beyond the level they are currently at. Fullbringers are technically still human and thus they should have human limits...until they die at which point they end up in a similar situation to the Soul Reapers. The Hollows can max out at Vasto Lorde before mutating into Arrancar and they should still be limited to the same realm as Soul Reapers (as mentioned multiple times in the series) but they are handicapped by their aspect of death. TBH the only reason the Espada did so poorly was because of self sabotage. Quincy however, the purest, true quincy, are literal gods, pieces of the Soul King that gained sentience and thus aren't subject to any such limits. They're closer to Ichigo in that they're natural born Transcendent beings. This limitless power is highlighted in Yhwach, Pernida, Gerard and Gremmy. Yhwach can grow infinitely stronger by sharing his soul then re-absorbing it, gaining the power, life force and abilties of the one he shared his soul with. Pernida grows endlessly, Gerard is immortal and indomitable, and Gremmy can make duplicates of himself to double his imagination endlessly or just imagine himself infinitely stronger. And he can give himself any power he could ever think of. So, my ranking is 4th Hollow (due to the handicap) 3rd Fullbringer (if they die first and don't hollowfi or go to hell, otherwise they're 4th) 2nd Soul Reaper (neutral, no inate weakness or strengths) 1st Quincy (actual gods)
If we're ranking by race exclusive abilities fullbringers go second, hollows go third, quincy goes first, and soul reapers go last because all they have are zanpakutos which even a fullbringer can get and use due to being humans.

@@archon6271 The hogyoku forms are completely different from segunda etapa. This is proven because Ulquiorra has a hogyoku form. It is going beyond a resurreccion including a segunda etapa. Going beyond a mere arrancar. It is the super Saiyan god form of arrancars. It goes 1st release, segunda etapa, and then beyond resurreccion. Ulquiorra is proof of this.
i had my money on 1. qunicy 2. soul reapers 3. fullbringers 4. hollows. i say this because of how the show and manga portray them and from some games i play. qunicy winning was obvious they have so much. btw fav race hollows
The real reason why shinigamis lost is because their overconfidence. The three shinigamis that really focus on real traning were Aizen yama and ichibei. They achieved the full shinigami potential and aside the soul king and his "sons" (ywhach, pernida, valkyrie, maybe gremmy too) they were absolutely the strongest. A menos grande, and adjucha or a vasto lorde even isn't that big ofba deal for a captain level shinigami and that is all that they were facing off till the quincies, and they dissappeared for a thousand years. The shinigamis focused on what they liked, to have "fun" because they were far stronger that any tread so they didn't use the 100% of theie powers. Imagine if kenpachi have learned kido or shunko. If kenpachi didn't supress his power in order to have fun he would have been the most op thing in the verse. Aizen didn't have that much potential compared to toshiro, zaraki or ichigo and he perfectioned evey single shinigami technique, beingna lietnunant he was the most powerful kido user of seireitei
I think you're understating Aizen's talent and perhaps overstating Toshiro a little, but I agree with you. But to expand it's not just overconfidence, it's the complacency that grew from it too. Thanks to bananas individuals like Yamamoto and Unohana the shinigami carved out a dominant spot at their inception and then held on to it thanks to such powerful people anchoring it and the lack of an organised opposition. This lead to hundreds of years and generations upon generations growing up with a security blanket in the Gotei 13. There's never an existential threat to drive a culture of self improvement. Hell there's never even a war with an outside power, just civil conflicts. And so much like their culture, the shinigami as individuals mostly slide into complacent stagnancy, with only the ambition of individuals who by and large lacked the support structure to truly push themselves and stand out. The rank and file are left to languish in mediocrity unless they have a personal breakthrough. And to be fair the 13 Squads did exist as under the control of the 46, who were motivated to maintain the status quo. And the system did work for ages, because again, no hostile nations existed to pressure them.

Hollows heal once they go into Res but don't when they revert back to base form. Hollows can lose their Res forms if they discard them for more power, kind of like Final getsuga Tenshou
Shinigami: I can shoot a beam! Hollows: I can shoot a beam! Fullbringers: I can punch things hard with luck??? Idk I do a thing. Quincy: I can go back in time and delete you as a fetus throughout all conceivable realities using a beam with the power of infinity + 1.
Shinigami have the most versatility of movesets. Kido alone-have two subsections that go from 1-99, someone could fight with kido alone and completely confuse an opponent doing a bunch of different moves that you can’t counter, essentially.
The funniest thing is literally any race could do anything a soul reaper does You teach a hollow about kido and they learn shunpo in like half a day soul reapers are chumps, carried heavily by ichigo who's only like 1/4 soul reaper so like lamo
I was hoping that the hallows would win because it was the hallows/arrancars that got me into bleach. But I can do with second place. And to be honest I think each race can beat the other race within a certain category. Like I think the hallows have the best speed, defense, and destructive capabilities. While the soul reapers have a way more variety of Arsenal when it comes to their kido, zanpakuto, and hand to hand combat, while the quincies and fullbringers have was more hax abilities which I don’t need to explain.
Yes my list for intents and purposes is a "dumbed down" version. Like it would take an entire essay and 45+ minutes to explain who the best is but ultimately it would still be the soul reapers. Between their technology, creating the current world, and having tons of experience they'd win.
Arrancars and vizards have more raw physical power than the others. The physical power alone can contend with shikai. Raw power mele type shikai like Zabimaru and Hozukimaru aren't as fatal as an arrancar's sealed sword state. With attacks like gran rey which isn't something one needs to be a genius to perform, shinigami can only use 90's class kido or bankai to counteract. Bankai does give an edge in spiritual pressure boost compared to the 1st stage of a ressureccion but newly acquired bankai is just about an equal boost in that regard. Rez also gives more strength and speed on top of a powerful unique ability. With training, arrancars outclass shinigami with ease as their ressureccion alone which is innate can contend with something only a 1 in many generations can usually attain. Then their 2ndd stage would be flat out superior to bankai. Gran rey which is also innate is as powerful as 90's class kido which only great geniuses in the shinigami race can contend with. In fact even the quincies mentioned that the arrancars were great assets since they can fight effectively off the bat and don't require training. The only thing I'd see arrancars training for is swordsmanship and hand to hand. Sonido is innate aswell but they can increase proficiency with it. They are literally designed to be better than shinigami. Arrancars were the race that came into being after shinigami thought of a way to strengthen the soul, arrancars are a product of that so ofc they're superior. Imagine arrancars trained as tirelessly as soulreapers. SE might be as rare nd hard to acquire as bankai so imagine there being as many hogyoku evolved arrancars as there are soul reapers And as many SE as there are bankais. There'd be more ressureccions than shikai since they all can do it and every arrancar and their grandma could use high level ceros comparable to ninties class kido which by hype might even be as rare as bankai or even moreso. only 5 shinigami have demonstrated the ability to use 90's class kido with a potential few other named kido masters who all fall into the genius bracket. I agree with this except shingami being last. Michibane is like the Yhwach of Fullbringers so basing almost everything off her is a bit unfair. It's said that Fullbringers hit an ability cap after their abilities are complete. Shinigami age like fine wine, there's no actual cap to their zanpakuto abilities and they can quite literally just continue developing zanpakuto abilities.... 2000 year old Ichigo tho 👀
Oh yh. Fullbringers are naked after their fullbring is activated. It's much easier to master since about a week with intense training can suffice but you can't ignore the fact that there's no temporary boost like the other races. All four races facing each other with equal spiritual pressure and average abilities and mastery in their own fields would equate to the Fullbringer being outclassed by all of them.
I'm not ignoring it. I stated why it's counteracted because of soul subjugation. Plus Fullbring can evolve as stated. It takes more than a week it's stated several times Ichigos training was enhanced because of his pre-shingami training and the fact multiple people with mastered fullbring were using fullbring to train him. Chad and Orihime took more than a year

I understand what you're getting at but remember Gremmy's fight with Kenpachi, spiritual pressure is the highest deciding factor and abilities are secondary. Though reiatsu wasn't the only thing, it did play a big part Didn't get to the entire CFYOW and I honestly don't remember it well but correct me if I'm wrong. Soul subjucation at it's highest defensively is capable of counteracting 90's level kido. I can only imagine it's offensive limitations are similar. Based on Ichigo's fight with Grimmjow and the comparison between that 90's class kido and a gran rey, it's very safe to say that a form such as a ressureccion being used can counter attacks of that calibur using a spiritual pressure difference. A fully developed bankai is greater than that
@@primeroespadax No it's isn't physical it actually spiritual. In CFYOW novel Shuhei points out his shunpo isn't effected he then speed blitzes Aura. It basically worked the same as Gentai Kaijo

Shinigami. They have a lot of abilities and zanpaktoe is far more versatile and convenient. They have the soul society and academy. They are far more organized and developed. Bankai is far more useful than vollstandig or ressurection. Quincy have to absorb reishi to make weapons. Hollows have to gain intelligence to become vasta lorde.
Yeah, I get where you're coming from. You gotta account for how much is a matter accumulated knowledge (Shinigami + Quincy) and how much is raw power (Hollow + Fulbringer). Discarding outliers like captains, Ywach, Ikumikidomoe, etc. I think Hollows win out just due to how natural is evolution for them even if weird powers are rarer for them, Shinigami do need swords and natural Quincy shrifts are rare. Fullbringers are so-so, for one their powers do tend to be a bit more 'meta' or 'deep' like Tsukishima actually affecting the past instead of just memories but they do tend to have a limited potential since their power comes from Reioh fragments Aura lucked out there.
Exactly! I've gotten people just mad that their fav race didn't place where they thought. Kubo wrote in such a way that the soul reapers "good guys" come out on top cuz of tech and experience, they literally set the board. Quincy become stronger by consuming Ywachs Blood and Hollows become stronger by consuming each other but their brutish nature drags them down. Fullbringers are dependent on their training and overall SP but their rarity doesn't allow for cohesion and training like soul reapers. There are so many little components and outside factors that people don't consider.
Pure natural abilities wise without outliers so the average representative of that population Shinigami > Arrancar/Hollow > Quincy > Full bringer. Most quincies we see are all artificially buffed and anyone with a piece of the soul king can be a full bringer making them un special. If you want a good example of this shinigamai have alway been considered greater than hollows while captains were better than arrancars. The sternritter needed the medallions or vollstanding both outside sources of power to compete with bankai. Upton losing either or both they largely lost to the captains. Misaki could easily defeat a hollow until Yhwach took his power back and after that she got super weak. Bazz B one of the more powerful sternritter wasn't a powerful quincy without Jugram artificially boasting him his entire life basically even then he upon losing vollstanding he had no choice but to side with the captains.
@@2centswanted113 So you're going to ignore the fact that they didn't really fight them one on one in head to head combat? What were the Quincies main advantages in the war? If I recall correctly the only time the soldat were revelant was when they attacked the soul reapers off gaurd from the shadows. After that advantage they became just as useless as the sternritter who had theirs stolen banzai taken back. Post Aushawalan I don't even think they're mentioned which makes sense given we know other powerful Quincy such as Misaki and Uryu mother weren't that powerful after Yhwach takes his power.

The average soul reaper isn't that powerful either since it's seen multiple soul reapers need to fight 1 hollow. Your "average" argument is circumstantial because you don't know the actual average. This is also exacerbated by the fact the soul reapers creates the world, yet still lose in it. Masaki was extremely powerful. Stripping them of their power of course would make them weak. I gave Soul Reapers concessions here like zanpakuto which are an invention, established schools, get to pick the best of the best and nurture them, Yet they lose. Strip soul reapers of their powers and they are regular souls like everyone else.
1. Quincy : too many naturally good abilities 2. Fullbring: humans with hax powers who can compete with 100 plus year old warrior shikigami 3. Shinigami : speaks for itself, great potential to surpass the first two but on average its below them. 4. Arrancar/hallow: it takes too time and devouring others to Maybe evolve into the upper ranks of hallows. Even the strongest arrancar needed aizen and the hogyokou to make them compete woth captain shikigami
From what I saw Res 1 was metaphorically a bankai as in it releases their core power. But that Res 2 speaking specifically for Ulquiorra was transcendent. But I can't call Res 1 a bankai because we see some inconsistent power up. Plus Yammys Res1 is a 10x boost and it makes him the Cero espada from 10. But I get what your saying

Since he was about 10x his original size in Karakura Town his boost is 10x this is per databook translation. If he were only twice the size his boost wouldn't have been that big

Though technically, the anime shows that Askin has a regular Vollständig before his full power one. Also, would love to see Vollständigs for the Quincy that never used it on screen. Specifically, Gremmy, BG9, Cang, the Lloyd boys, and Jugram (if he doesn't get one in the anime)

I think you're failing to take into account innate potential here, not to say that you can't increase your strength through training, but it should be considered. Fullbringers are really just humans who have innate spiritual abilities due to circumstances. They're strongly limited by their bodies and explicitly need to train to upkeep their stamina while using their abilities in addition to increasing their spiritual powers. Basically there's the hard limit of them being human holding them back and unlike Shinigami, they can't just meditate with their swords to grow stronger. When they die, they lose the human downside, but at that point, I'd argue that they're really just untrained Shinigami who keep their Fullbring from life, making that more of an "ease of hybriding" more than a point in their favor here. (Most) Quincy are also humans, but their reishi domination and abilities like ransotengai and blutvein can mitigate those physiological deficiencies in comparison to their Fullbringer counterparts. Basically I'd argue that the divine bloodline of the Qunicy grants an inherent higher ceiling than that of a Fullbringer, but it's probably still behind that of a soul. Shinigami are just souls that were trained in the Shinigami arts and have imprinted on a zanpakuto. They don't really have that limitation, sure you can train to get physically stronger, but you can also just meditate with your sword to get closer to your peak potential. Those Shinigami who are at or approaching their peak are some of the strongest showings in the series. ex Yamamoto or Ichibei. Menos-class Hollows are amalgamations of sometimes thousands of souls. Not every Hollow can become Vasto Lorde, but any Hollow given favorable conditions can become Adjuchas with the spiritual pressure around that of a captain. This is before any serious training takes place; simply subsisting as a Menos in favorable conditions will eventually lead to a Hollow gaining captain-tier abilities. With any Aarancar having the potential to gain Segunta Etapa, Hollows boast the best baseline and a very respectable ceiling. Ease of hybridization should also be brought up: If a Fullbringer dies, nothing's stopping them from gaining Shinigami powers. I'd argue if the Soul of a Fullbringer were to become a Hollow, they'd lose some of their connection to the object(s) that they channel their Fullbring through. Quincy are intolerant to Hollow reishi and are the ancient enemies of Shinigami. Due to Quincy powers tying back to blood connections to the Soul King, I'm not entirely sure you keep your Quincy abilities as a soul...gaining some degree of Quincy abilities seems something that any race can do, should they make a pact to join the Quincy however. Shinigami need either a hogyoku or some real big shenanigans to hollowfy. It's not exactly feasible. Hollows just have to break their masks to become Aarancars. The process doesn't make you much stronger, but your form seems to be much more energy-efficient, negating the normal downsides of being a Hollow. Should the Bleach setting advance further, I don't actually see any reason why an Aarancar wouldn't be able to imprint on an Asauchi and gain full Shinigami powers; sure they'd have to convince someone to let them into the Shinigami Academy, but it should technically be possible. Considering this, Hollows seem to win again. Even the humans influenced by their reiryoku take second place here. Realistically, there doesn't seem to be a reason why a Hollow couldn't break their mask, be trained as a Shinigami and be granted some Qunicy powers through a pact. They'd wind up like Tosen with bonus Quincy powers and a whole lot less reliance on macguffins. Obviously peak performance would be for a Fullbringer to be made into a Substitute Shinigami, hollowfied with a hogyoku and given Qunicy powers to become bootleg Ichigo, but that's neither here nor there...
Ok so reishi domination is having complete control over the spirit particles themselves while spirit subjugation is having complete control over the soul that exists within something. Aren't they both technically the same ability? In fact I'd say spirit subjugation is stronger because they can actually control the thing that has a soul.
Normally yes but the ultimate form of spirit reishi domination is sklaverei. Meaning everything is under its power. It can even absorb other spiritual beings. See Quilge vs Ayon and Quilge absorbing the tres bestias, Chad, Orihime, and Nel before being stopped by Ichigo. The sklaverei ability would dominate subjugation even to the extreme case of absorbing fullbring. Fullbringers may have an advantage in the world of the living where particles aren't as dense so Quincies have to pull harder but in reishi dense environments like Hueco Mundo, Soul Society, and the Kyogoku the Quincy would have an advantage. Hypothetically if you'll allow some speculation. Fullbringers MAY be able to absorb reishi too but it's never been demonstrated. If an argument could be made for that then I'd put it higher and Fullbringers would've won.

As what would stop a fullbringer from completely controlling Ayon instead of just absorbing him like the Quincy? But then that would come down to which one does a person want more to control their enemy or absorb their power for themselves. Cases can be made for both. Then I started thinking about a fight between both. What is stopping a Quincy from absorbing the spirit particles of the fullbringer but then you can also ask what is stopping a fullbringer from controlling a Quincy' soul? Their weapons I dont know about, as the Quincy bow doesn't have a "soul" I think but it is made of soul particles. Like the fullbringer is saying I chose to control the soul as is but the Quincy says naw i'd rather break it down and use those broken particles. Destination also plays a role as you said. The more dense the reishi in an environment the better for a Quincy but a fullbringer can be at their best in any place you put them in. Quincy can be situational about how powerful they can become while a fullbringer is a swiss army knife. At the end of the day i'd be cool with either ability or if I could some how mix them that'd be cool too. Though that would be OP
@@jbabylucus1641 The only reason I didn't go that far with Fullbring soul subjugation is we don't have an example of them controlling someone's body outside a specific Fullbring ability. The best example we have of it is when mentioned being able to "subjugate a soul when making contact". Sklaverei was shown to us twice so we know it's upper limits. That's why when I started the Fullbring section I said "the ability we know the least about". But don't forget that Quincy still have control of the spirit particles they absorb. So it's matter manipulation vs matter absorption(with control). I'm glad I'm not the only person who sees the upper potential of Fullbringers! They could really have this tug of war battle with Quincy but it makes sense since their powers are born of Hollows and the SK.
Souls and spirits aren't the same thing. There's Phisical matter, spiritual matter and souls which are intangible to even spirits. Yhwach's power stealing uses that soul, that's why his power stealing light wasn't blocked by the spirit blocking power of that squad 0 member.
Besides maybe fullbring bankai seem to be by far the worst transformation with Vollständig and resurrección giving you a clear boost and bankai being more gimmicky and utility based most of the time
OK so I wanted to bring this up that unmastered bankai have massive weaknesses. You can completely disrupt a young bankai with a blast of spirit energy. I just ran out of time
I came back to this after some more thought since yesterday. Its kinda unfair to rank Hollows in the manner that they are. Arrancar were given the ability to use Zanpakto by Aizen. He was essentially trying to break the limits between hollows and soul reapers. So on the basis of inherent ability I think only full bringer and quincy should top this list. As their abilities are entirely their own.
I explained why arrancar are allowed. Hollows can naturally obtain these powers I even give examples of powerful Hollows who obtained their power through natural means. Starkk and Ulquiorra are both natural born arrancars and arguably the 2 strongest outside of Yammays power storage and Rage ability.

So it begs the question of whether or not that was only attainable as a result of Aizen? As far as Im aware hollows were essentially always in release state, like animals if you will before Aizen experimented on them. So Id think the abilities associated with their zanpakto would not otherwise be attainable because they dont have a medium to consolidate it?

Ichigo isn't a simple hybrid either he is all of the races there is a lot of grey area but essentially the Hollows can literally pull off their own mask and gain a boost but still are Hollows with just Hollow reiatsu. No Ulquiorra did not get any special power from Aizen. It's even emphasized that his Segunda Etapa form is unknown to Aizen. Halibel for example is confirmed to have gotten her power up from Aizen. The arrancar Res ability is like bankai in that the core power is released meaning their core which is exactly what a banaki is releasing the zanpakuto spirit. But the boost Res gets isn't the same as bankai because the databooks say that Yammys first Res is 10x boost which puts him at 0 for the Espada meaning the other Espadas Res don't give a 10x boost and we see this in the fights.
It's never stated or shown but I wouldn't be shocked FB Bankai Ichigo is a monster and he'd probably need it. I wouldn't be shocked if he used the Balance to break it either

The Fullbring are still shit characters. Their powers are just uninteresting. Orihime's power suppose to be godlike but everytime we see Shinigami replicate what she can do better. I feel Yhwach doesn't really deserve to be counted as the highest potential of the Quincy because he is the guy who made them aside from the parts of the Soul King which are their own entity and not sure if they really count as traditional quincy. Some of the Quincy's ability aren't even natural but bestowed by Yhwach like the Vollständig, Schrift and Auswählen. But then again you might say that about REAL Arrancar and the Vizards who are mock Arrancar. The mightiest Arrancar could possibly be Tousen because he could have all Hollow and Shinigami abilities and thus all Arrancar and Vizard abilities. He has both Bankai and Resurreccion. He can use Kido and Cero. Garganta and Senkaimon. Shinji and the others have been hollowfied with an incomplete Hougyoku and maybe can use Resurreccion. Arrancar have no Shinigami abilities besides Zanjutsu and the ability to release a Zanpakuto. But they have no Shikai nor Bankai. Hey may have immediate access to some abilities while Shinigami have to release their Zanpakuto before that, but then Shinigami can control their Spirit Powers better by changing Zanpakuto sizes; Experts can release shikai without announcing and have Kido spells. How can Cero compete? There are variation of it and it is a basic ability that may surpass traditional Kido but still. In certain aspects I feel Hollows get nerfed when getting Shinigami powers like they have limited regeneration and whatnot. Meanwhile the Vizards have no unique abilities like the Arrancar. The exception being Tousen who is a proper Arrancar and Ichigo who is a completely different kind of being. I feel the Quincy abilities are also really underwhelming or uninteresting for fights. I don't count Yhwach because he is something completely different. This is obviously ignoring Super Reiatsu which Ichigo, Renji, Byakuya and Rukia have from training in the Soul Palace which make the Vizard Captains look like fodder... I can't believe Kubo shafted the Vizards like that. They had so much advantages to do something and ended up being put to the background. Complete disappointment.
To be fair, quincys can get scrifts without yhwach, I forgot which chapter it was, but it is shown the royd scrifts somehow learning they're scrift ability, I forgot how it worked, but they can get scrifts without yhwach, other than that, you make fair points.

I thought I explained the basis on which I'm rating the groups in the series but apparently I need to explain again. I'm taking into consideration the apex of each groups natural abilities (exceptions being zanpakuto). So I'm not saying The Almighty vs Ichimonji but the fact that they can have those abilities. If zanpakuto were strictly limited to elemental and melee types then there would've been no draw and they wouldve placed last in the attack section. Fullbring, Zanpakuto, Schrifts, and Hollow abilities can be anything and is determined by that SPECIFIC SOUL. Other wise I'd have to analyze every single individual ability, kido, weapon and try to see which exactly comes out on top.

@@2centswanted113 The reason why I believe Arrancar's Resurrección is more equivalent to a Shikai than a Bankai is that a Resurrección is essentially their 'True form' and the humanoid form the go around as with their Zanpakutō, is essentially their 'Sealed state' similar to the sealed state form of Zanpakutō before Shikai is released. and when they activate Shikai, it is essentially activating their true power, similar to Resurrección. While Bankai is also known as an 'Evolved Zanpakutō' as in their power is being evolved from their true power/intended use similar to Segunda Etapa, or second release. As Segunda Etapa is a kind of evolved Resurrección. Kisuke might not have come to such a conjuncture this much if he had been able to witness Segunda Etapa.
I also believe Hollows, potential wise, are the inherent superior race over the sour reapers, as it is said a Vasto Lorde Arrancar releasing their Zanpakutō/Shikai can overpower a captain level shinigami using Bankai,
The boost an Arrancar gets when Ressurected is more resembled to a Bankai than a Shikai and the boosts are actually quite large.
Segunda Etapa is just on a completely different level all together.
The only thing similar between the normal Ressurection and the Shikai is simply the fact that both are "1st stages". But the amp a Ressurection gives is a lot larger than a Shikai.
I'm not factoring in abilities, just raw power. because there are exceptions like Aizen's Kyouka Suigetsu which doesn't give him that much if at all raw power but gives him an absolute broken ability that renders others raw power pretty much useless.
Then again, there can exist Hollows who can also create illusion based powers, we simply haven't seen it...

Honestly when I look back at both videos I can see why the verdict is what it is. The Quincies and Arancars have the better version of Abilities then The Soul Reapers that they don't have to rely on their main weapons. The full bringers can pretty much adapt to any situation that the only limitation is their imagination. Soul reapers have a large variety of spells, and uniqueness in their Zanpato but that all comes down to individual power of sword abilites and talent in Kidō spells. When you think about it the Arancar 1st stage resurrection is the equivalent of Shikai and the Soul Reapers had to defeat them with Bankai.
I'm glad you got it, I have had a few comments kind of blatantly miss the way I was evaluating this. I've gotten "Soul Reapers are clearly the strongest they have 198+ kido" but like what does that matter when other species have spells, counters, or more straightforward counters (Wide arcing ceros). @@2centswanted113 I understand what you mean. Considering the soul reaper abilities are so well flushed out while the others not so much they can't see the possibilities. The Shikigami's biggest asset was their sword abilities while the other faction had stronger basic abilities. And Ironically the biggest advantage that the Quincies and Arancars have over the Soul Reapers is that they have the most reliable long range weapons in Arrows and Ceros. Kidō may have a big variety but It's slow in comparison.
And I mean really while a soul reaper is taking at least 1 or 2 minutes to cast the spell a Quincy could be firing 10 to thousands of arrows at them while an Arancars is Charging up a powerful laser at you! A laser! 😰
@@michaelmurray8134 Yes! That's why I brought up Ggio Vega easily countering a level 30 bakudo with a quick cero. Or even a cero oscuras has as much destructive power as a 88 Hado but much quicker. But the reason they didn't lose is because Soul Reapers also have Danku which can hard counter cero but that doesn't necessarily give an advantage cuz as you said "Death Lazer go Brrr" 🤣🤣🤣

I would give it to the Shinagami/Hollow. They're just way to versitle and op with their abilities. The Quincy/Full bringers seem to benefit from outside power to much. Full bringers have a piece of soul king and quincy can be upgraded by Yhwach/Jugram.
But that's how they get their power. Can't take away how they get their power all Quincies are decendants of Ywach whether wandenreich, Echt, or Gemischt. Even if I don't use the sternritter, Letz Stil is a bigger power up than Bankai and they can still make diverse Reishi Armor and weapons.

He basically killed off all the Quincy since they were using borrowed power. @@diamantemrobinson No the quincy were all still alive and had their schrifts, there are also natural schrifts for Quincy. (JUGO, Uryu, Royd/Loyd). The quincy still have their abilities post aushwalen.
Fullbringers still need Hollow reiatsu to ignite that dormant power but it's still theirs. Plus you could say the same about soul reapers not everyone has potential to be a soul reaper they are just empowered souls and they still need a zanpakuto (outside power) that could be taken away.
@@2centswanted113 majority of the quincy are dead though because of Yhwach and yes while I do believe they all had natural abilities they still weren't that powerful overall without Yhwach or Jugram boosting their abilities. The ones who lost Yhwach support quickly became weak and relied on the shinigami teaming up with them for revenge. Yhwach, Jugram, the soul king, and Ishida are anomalies amongst Quincies. Jugram and Bazz-B Flashblack pretty much backs this up. There's a reason why the shingami easily dominated them originally in the 1st war.
My point still stands though anyone can be a full bringer if they have a piece of the soul king and we know shinagami can possess a piece of him like Ichigo, Matsumoto, and Ukitake.
That's not all the way true though the asauchi is a piece of equipment that the shinagami imprint their souls on no different than what a full bringer does. And as you said in your video it's linked to that soul reaper as shown in the one thousand year blood arc.
@@diamantemrobinson I really think your misremembering the events of the story. Nanana was about to kill everyone when Bazz-B betrayed him. So they could help them get to the royal palace. They still had all of their abilities except volstandig. Jugram wasn't boosting them and Bazz-B was fighting evenly with RG Renji and RG Rukia.
Just because they are attached by their soul doesn't mean the bankai can't be taken away. When broken bankai can reform its still an outside ability. As opposed to being born with it like FB and Quincy

My favourite race has to be the Hollows/Arrancar. Just absolutely love how Mr Tite Kubo designed them and what they stand for and represent. As my favourite Arrancar has to be Grimmjow and Nel.
Fullbringers really don't get the credit the deserve. Zanpakto had to be invented. Fullbringers can essentially turn anything they desire into a zanpakto over time. I feel like with a training ark itd be hard to beat them on equal terms lol.
Shinigamis combining their abilities has so much potential:
1) kido + Hakudo = Shunko
2) Zanpakuto + Kido = Ichibei's secret kidos
3) zanpakuto + Hakudo + Zanjutsu = Final Getsuga Tensho
technically speaking if Ichigo ever learns Shunko he could probably combine it with Final getsuga for a total of all shinigami powers 💀
Kido, hakudo and shunko are all techniques that can be learned by anyone they are not exclusive to shinigamis also zanpakuto's can be robbed or used by anyone regardless of their race so the shinigamis don't got much going for them.

It no where in the show implies or straight up says that kido is something only shinigami can use it also constantly calls them techniques which implies they can be learned.

you forgot one thing with the hollows (though i doubt it would effect the outcome) hollows heal their injuries when ressurecting (like we saw with nnoitora), witch means if they were smart they could in most cases win a war of attrition by waiting on releasing until they have sustained sugnificant damage or their enemy being run tired

this is an interesting concept, but I feel you can hit a wall really quickly. Both the Quincy and the Arrancar/Espada were modified/buffed by someone/thing else. The hollows were granted restrictions via the Hogyoku, theirfor, they could be stronger than they were before, due to this. So is it fair to judge them like they are normal Hollow?
Similar with Quincy as the powers of almost all Quincy were granted to them by Juha. If it wasn't for him, they would be pretty weak with only a few exceptions with natural powers.
You could even argue this for Fullbringers as they need to have parents that were attacked by hollows (if I recall at least) to even gain powers at all.
Thus, I say there are only three Races. Shinigami, Hollows (normal hollows, no Espada/Arancar) and Humans (Quincy and Fullbringers are both basically humans if you remove their third-party enhancements via Juha or Hollows).
Personally, I say Shinigami are the top. They are very versatile in their abilities, plenty intelligent, have very long lifespans, and have so many different potentials for abilities that it just seems right.
Following that are the Hollows. Though they also have a wide number of abilities they can have like Shinigami, They lack intelligence normally, unless they have consumed enough other hollows. This is also another downside as they are constantly fighting each other, leading to normally short lives. They have MASSIVE potential with Vasto Lorde forms, as it's been stated that if like 10 Vast lords existed at once, Soul Society may be doomed. But given the circumstances on how to become one, it's unlikely that would ever happen.
Humans (unsurprisingly) are last. Most have no powers, but some have the potential to gain them in specific circumstances are met that typically involve involvement via another race, making them not count.

Ichigo is far from being formally trained in swordsmanship and gets dumpstered by Ulquiorra until he busts out his hollow mask. I do like the idea that Ulquiorra trained( maybe with Aizen) , instead relying on his base strength like the other espada
Ichigo is most definitely trained Ikkaku says as much in their fight. But a better example would be Starkk and Shunsui. No soul reapers sword play overcame the Hollows in their fights they all seemed even.

Best race in Bleach? Well, aside from the newly formed Ichigo race, I'd have to say Hollow (assuming you became a vastolorde), or a Soul Reaper (assuming you can get into the 13 court guard squads).
Well before we get to that, I've gotta add, Vasto lordes aren't inherently that powerful, they usually get stomped by arrancars regardless of previous rank

Soul Reapers cultivate the Soul. Hollows cultivate the body, and Quincy their divine bloodline. Fullbringers are the anomaly because they're basically Wal-Mart brand Soul Reapers but with hollow reiatsu as a foundation. Which makes sense as technically they're hybrids: humans that had their soul mutated by fusing with hollow reiatsu in the womb. Moreover, their fullbrings are eerily similar to Zanpakuto, and the soul domination was compared to Kido in nature.
In other words, on the surface it looks like they'd be equal, but then you need to look into the purebloods, the truest embodiment of each and differences start popping up.
Soul Reaper Nobles don't actually have any inate advantage, they're just born with more spirit energy than most. For example there's nothing seperating Byakuya from Renji, a human who became a Soul Reaper beyond the level they are currently at.
Fullbringers are technically still human and thus they should have human limits...until they die at which point they end up in a similar situation to the Soul Reapers.
The Hollows can max out at Vasto Lorde before mutating into Arrancar and they should still be limited to the same realm as Soul Reapers (as mentioned multiple times in the series) but they are handicapped by their aspect of death. TBH the only reason the Espada did so poorly was because of self sabotage.
Quincy however, the purest, true quincy, are literal gods, pieces of the Soul King that gained sentience and thus aren't subject to any such limits. They're closer to Ichigo in that they're natural born Transcendent beings. This limitless power is highlighted in Yhwach, Pernida, Gerard and Gremmy. Yhwach can grow infinitely stronger by sharing his soul then re-absorbing it, gaining the power, life force and abilties of the one he shared his soul with. Pernida grows endlessly, Gerard is immortal and indomitable, and Gremmy can make duplicates of himself to double his imagination endlessly or just imagine himself infinitely stronger. And he can give himself any power he could ever think of.
So, my ranking is
4th Hollow (due to the handicap)
3rd Fullbringer (if they die first and don't hollowfi or go to hell, otherwise they're 4th)
2nd Soul Reaper (neutral, no inate weakness or strengths)
1st Quincy (actual gods)
This makes me wonder, what if the sternitter who didn't have or use vollstandig, had one.
If we're ranking by race exclusive abilities fullbringers go second, hollows go third, quincy goes first, and soul reapers go last because all they have are zanpakutos which even a fullbringer can get and use due to being humans.

Going beyond a mere arrancar. It is the super Saiyan god form of arrancars. It goes 1st release, segunda etapa, and then beyond resurreccion. Ulquiorra is proof of this.

The real reason why shinigamis lost is because their overconfidence. The three shinigamis that really focus on real traning were Aizen yama and ichibei. They achieved the full shinigami potential and aside the soul king and his "sons" (ywhach, pernida, valkyrie, maybe gremmy too) they were absolutely the strongest. A menos grande, and adjucha or a vasto lorde even isn't that big ofba deal for a captain level shinigami and that is all that they were facing off till the quincies, and they dissappeared for a thousand years. The shinigamis focused on what they liked, to have "fun" because they were far stronger that any tread so they didn't use the 100% of theie powers. Imagine if kenpachi have learned kido or shunko. If kenpachi didn't supress his power in order to have fun he would have been the most op thing in the verse. Aizen didn't have that much potential compared to toshiro, zaraki or ichigo and he perfectioned evey single shinigami technique, beingna lietnunant he was the most powerful kido user of seireitei
I think you're understating Aizen's talent and perhaps overstating Toshiro a little, but I agree with you.
But to expand it's not just overconfidence, it's the complacency that grew from it too. Thanks to bananas individuals like Yamamoto and Unohana the shinigami carved out a dominant spot at their inception and then held on to it thanks to such powerful people anchoring it and the lack of an organised opposition. This lead to hundreds of years and generations upon generations growing up with a security blanket in the Gotei 13. There's never an existential threat to drive a culture of self improvement. Hell there's never even a war with an outside power, just civil conflicts. And so much like their culture, the shinigami as individuals mostly slide into complacent stagnancy, with only the ambition of individuals who by and large lacked the support structure to truly push themselves and stand out. The rank and file are left to languish in mediocrity unless they have a personal breakthrough.
And to be fair the 13 Squads did exist as under the control of the 46, who were motivated to maintain the status quo. And the system did work for ages, because again, no hostile nations existed to pressure them.

Hollows heal once they go into Res but don't when they revert back to base form. Hollows can lose their Res forms if they discard them for more power, kind of like Final getsuga Tenshou

Shinigami have the most versatility of movesets. Kido alone-have two subsections that go from 1-99, someone could fight with kido alone and completely confuse an opponent doing a bunch of different moves that you can’t counter, essentially.
Arrancars due to being hybrids should in theory be able to do kido as well. But I doubt they care about learning such a thing.

I was hoping that the hallows would win because it was the hallows/arrancars that got me into bleach. But I can do with second place. And to be honest I think each race can beat the other race within a certain category. Like I think the hallows have the best speed, defense, and destructive capabilities. While the soul reapers have a way more variety of Arsenal when it comes to their kido, zanpakuto, and hand to hand combat, while the quincies and fullbringers have was more hax abilities which I don’t need to explain.
Yes my list for intents and purposes is a "dumbed down" version. Like it would take an entire essay and 45+ minutes to explain who the best is but ultimately it would still be the soul reapers. Between their technology, creating the current world, and having tons of experience they'd win.

Arrancars and vizards have more raw physical power than the others. The physical power alone can contend with shikai. Raw power mele type shikai like Zabimaru and Hozukimaru aren't as fatal as an arrancar's sealed sword state.
With attacks like gran rey which isn't something one needs to be a genius to perform, shinigami can only use 90's class kido or bankai to counteract. Bankai does give an edge in spiritual pressure boost compared to the 1st stage of a ressureccion but newly acquired bankai is just about an equal boost in that regard. Rez also gives more strength and speed on top of a powerful unique ability. With training, arrancars outclass shinigami with ease as their ressureccion alone which is innate can contend with something only a 1 in many generations can usually attain. Then their 2ndd stage would be flat out superior to bankai. Gran rey which is also innate is as powerful as 90's class kido which only great geniuses in the shinigami race can contend with.
In fact even the quincies mentioned that the arrancars were great assets since they can fight effectively off the bat and don't require training. The only thing I'd see arrancars training for is swordsmanship and hand to hand. Sonido is innate aswell but they can increase proficiency with it. They are literally designed to be better than shinigami. Arrancars were the race that came into being after shinigami thought of a way to strengthen the soul, arrancars are a product of that so ofc they're superior. Imagine arrancars trained as tirelessly as soulreapers. SE might be as rare nd hard to acquire as bankai so imagine there being as many hogyoku evolved arrancars as there are soul reapers And as many SE as there are bankais. There'd be more ressureccions than shikai since they all can do it and every arrancar and their grandma could use high level ceros comparable to ninties class kido which by hype might even be as rare as bankai or even moreso. only 5 shinigami have demonstrated the ability to use 90's class kido with a potential few other named kido masters who all fall into the genius bracket.
I agree with this except shingami being last. Michibane is like the Yhwach of Fullbringers so basing almost everything off her is a bit unfair. It's said that Fullbringers hit an ability cap after their abilities are complete. Shinigami age like fine wine, there's no actual cap to their zanpakuto abilities and they can quite literally just continue developing zanpakuto abilities.... 2000 year old Ichigo tho 👀
Oh yh. Fullbringers are naked after their fullbring is activated. It's much easier to master since about a week with intense training can suffice but you can't ignore the fact that there's no temporary boost like the other races. All four races facing each other with equal spiritual pressure and average abilities and mastery in their own fields would equate to the Fullbringer being outclassed by all of them.
I'm not ignoring it. I stated why it's counteracted because of soul subjugation. Plus Fullbring can evolve as stated.
It takes more than a week it's stated several times Ichigos training was enhanced because of his pre-shingami training and the fact multiple people with mastered fullbring were using fullbring to train him. Chad and Orihime took more than a year

Didn't get to the entire CFYOW and I honestly don't remember it well but correct me if I'm wrong. Soul subjucation at it's highest defensively is capable of counteracting 90's level kido. I can only imagine it's offensive limitations are similar. Based on Ichigo's fight with Grimmjow and the comparison between that 90's class kido and a gran rey, it's very safe to say that a form such as a ressureccion being used can counter attacks of that calibur using a spiritual pressure difference. A fully developed bankai is greater than that

Shinigami. They have a lot of abilities and zanpaktoe is far more versatile and convenient. They have the soul society and academy. They are far more organized and developed. Bankai is far more useful than vollstandig or ressurection. Quincy have to absorb reishi to make weapons. Hollows have to gain intelligence to become vasta lorde.
Yeah, I get where you're coming from. You gotta account for how much is a matter accumulated knowledge (Shinigami + Quincy) and how much is raw power (Hollow + Fulbringer). Discarding outliers like captains, Ywach, Ikumikidomoe, etc. I think Hollows win out just due to how natural is evolution for them even if weird powers are rarer for them, Shinigami do need swords and natural Quincy shrifts are rare. Fullbringers are so-so, for one their powers do tend to be a bit more 'meta' or 'deep' like Tsukishima actually affecting the past instead of just memories but they do tend to have a limited potential since their power comes from Reioh fragments Aura lucked out there.
Exactly! I've gotten people just mad that their fav race didn't place where they thought. Kubo wrote in such a way that the soul reapers "good guys" come out on top cuz of tech and experience, they literally set the board. Quincy become stronger by consuming Ywachs Blood and Hollows become stronger by consuming each other but their brutish nature drags them down. Fullbringers are dependent on their training and overall SP but their rarity doesn't allow for cohesion and training like soul reapers. There are so many little components and outside factors that people don't consider.
Pure natural abilities wise without outliers so the average representative of that population Shinigami > Arrancar/Hollow > Quincy > Full bringer. Most quincies we see are all artificially buffed and anyone with a piece of the soul king can be a full bringer making them un special.
If you want a good example of this shinigamai have alway been considered greater than hollows while captains were better than arrancars. The sternritter needed the medallions or vollstanding both outside sources of power to compete with bankai. Upton losing either or both they largely lost to the captains. Misaki could easily defeat a hollow until Yhwach took his power back and after that she got super weak. Bazz B one of the more powerful sternritter wasn't a powerful quincy without Jugram artificially boasting him his entire life basically even then he upon losing vollstanding he had no choice but to side with the captains.

If I recall correctly the only time the soldat were revelant was when they attacked the soul reapers off gaurd from the shadows. After that advantage they became just as useless as the sternritter who had theirs stolen banzai taken back. Post Aushawalan I don't even think they're mentioned which makes sense given we know other powerful Quincy such as Misaki and Uryu mother weren't that powerful after Yhwach takes his power.

The average soul reaper isn't that powerful either since it's seen multiple soul reapers need to fight 1 hollow. Your "average" argument is circumstantial because you don't know the actual average. Masaki was extremely powerful. Stripping them of their power of course would make them weak. I gave Soul Reapers concessions here like zanpakuto which are an invention, established schools, get to pick the best of the best and nurture them, Yet they lose. Strip soul reapers of their powers and they are regular souls like everyone else.
1. Quincy : too many naturally good abilities
2. Fullbring: humans with hax powers who can compete with 100 plus year old warrior shikigami
3. Shinigami : speaks for itself, great potential to surpass the first two but on average its below them.
4. Arrancar/hallow: it takes too time and devouring others to Maybe evolve into the upper ranks of hallows. Even the strongest arrancar needed aizen and the hogyokou to make them compete woth captain shikigami
I disagree about the Hogyoku part, we know for a fact 2 of the 3 most powerful Espada are natural born arrancar, Starkk and Ulquiorra.
I believe one of the data books stated that a normal resurreccion is equal to a bankai in power and a second resurreccion is even stronger.
From what I saw Res 1 was metaphorically a bankai as in it releases their core power. But that Res 2 speaking specifically for Ulquiorra was transcendent. But I can't call Res 1 a bankai because we see some inconsistent power up. Plus Yammys Res1 is a 10x boost and it makes him the Cero espada from 10. But I get what your saying

I think you're failing to take into account innate potential here, not to say that you can't increase your strength through training, but it should be considered.
Fullbringers are really just humans who have innate spiritual abilities due to circumstances. They're strongly limited by their bodies and explicitly need to train to upkeep their stamina while using their abilities in addition to increasing their spiritual powers. Basically there's the hard limit of them being human holding them back and unlike Shinigami, they can't just meditate with their swords to grow stronger. When they die, they lose the human downside, but at that point, I'd argue that they're really just untrained Shinigami who keep their Fullbring from life, making that more of an "ease of hybriding" more than a point in their favor here.
(Most) Quincy are also humans, but their reishi domination and abilities like ransotengai and blutvein can mitigate those physiological deficiencies in comparison to their Fullbringer counterparts. Basically I'd argue that the divine bloodline of the Qunicy grants an inherent higher ceiling than that of a Fullbringer, but it's probably still behind that of a soul.
Shinigami are just souls that were trained in the Shinigami arts and have imprinted on a zanpakuto. They don't really have that limitation, sure you can train to get physically stronger, but you can also just meditate with your sword to get closer to your peak potential. Those Shinigami who are at or approaching their peak are some of the strongest showings in the series. ex Yamamoto or Ichibei.
Menos-class Hollows are amalgamations of sometimes thousands of souls. Not every Hollow can become Vasto Lorde, but any Hollow given favorable conditions can become Adjuchas with the spiritual pressure around that of a captain. This is before any serious training takes place; simply subsisting as a Menos in favorable conditions will eventually lead to a Hollow gaining captain-tier abilities. With any Aarancar having the potential to gain Segunta Etapa, Hollows boast the best baseline and a very respectable ceiling.
Ease of hybridization should also be brought up: If a Fullbringer dies, nothing's stopping them from gaining Shinigami powers. I'd argue if the Soul of a Fullbringer were to become a Hollow, they'd lose some of their connection to the object(s) that they channel their Fullbring through.
Quincy are intolerant to Hollow reishi and are the ancient enemies of Shinigami. Due to Quincy powers tying back to blood connections to the Soul King, I'm not entirely sure you keep your Quincy abilities as a soul...gaining some degree of Quincy abilities seems something that any race can do, should they make a pact to join the Quincy however.
Shinigami need either a hogyoku or some real big shenanigans to hollowfy. It's not exactly feasible.
Hollows just have to break their masks to become Aarancars. The process doesn't make you much stronger, but your form seems to be much more energy-efficient, negating the normal downsides of being a Hollow. Should the Bleach setting advance further, I don't actually see any reason why an Aarancar wouldn't be able to imprint on an Asauchi and gain full Shinigami powers; sure they'd have to convince someone to let them into the Shinigami Academy, but it should technically be possible.
Considering this, Hollows seem to win again. Even the humans influenced by their reiryoku take second place here. Realistically, there doesn't seem to be a reason why a Hollow couldn't break their mask, be trained as a Shinigami and be granted some Qunicy powers through a pact. They'd wind up like Tosen with bonus Quincy powers and a whole lot less reliance on macguffins.
Obviously peak performance would be for a Fullbringer to be made into a Substitute Shinigami, hollowfied with a hogyoku and given Qunicy powers to become bootleg Ichigo, but that's neither here nor there...

Ok so reishi domination is having complete control over the spirit particles themselves while spirit subjugation is having complete control over the soul that exists within something.
Aren't they both technically the same ability? In fact I'd say spirit subjugation is stronger because they can actually control the thing that has a soul.
Normally yes but the ultimate form of spirit reishi domination is sklaverei. Meaning everything is under its power. It can even absorb other spiritual beings. See Quilge vs Ayon and Quilge absorbing the tres bestias, Chad, Orihime, and Nel before being stopped by Ichigo. The sklaverei ability would dominate subjugation even to the extreme case of absorbing fullbring.
Fullbringers may have an advantage in the world of the living where particles aren't as dense so Quincies have to pull harder but in reishi dense environments like Hueco Mundo, Soul Society, and the Kyogoku the Quincy would have an advantage.
Hypothetically if you'll allow some speculation. Fullbringers MAY be able to absorb reishi too but it's never been demonstrated. If an argument could be made for that then I'd put it higher and Fullbringers would've won.
@@2centswanted113 The event where Ayon was absorbed is what had me really thinking about the two. As what would stop a fullbringer from completely controlling Ayon instead of just absorbing him like the Quincy? But then that would come down to which one does a person want more to control their enemy or absorb their power for themselves. Cases can be made for both.
Then I started thinking about a fight between both. What is stopping a Quincy from absorbing the spirit particles of the fullbringer but then you can also ask what is stopping a fullbringer from controlling a Quincy' soul? Their weapons I dont know about, as the Quincy bow doesn't have a "soul" I think but it is made of soul particles. Like the fullbringer is saying I chose to control the soul as is but the Quincy says naw i'd rather break it down and use those broken particles.
Destination also plays a role as you said. The more dense the reishi in an environment the better for a Quincy but a fullbringer can be at their best in any place you put them in. Quincy can be situational about how powerful they can become while a fullbringer is a swiss army knife.
At the end of the day i'd be cool with either ability or if I could some how mix them that'd be cool too. Though that would be OP
@@jbabylucus1641 The only reason I didn't go that far with Fullbring soul subjugation is we don't have an example of them controlling someone's body outside a specific Fullbring ability. The best example we have of it is when mentioned being able to "subjugate a soul when making contact". Sklaverei was shown to us twice so we know it's upper limits. That's why when I started the Fullbring section I said "the ability we know the least about". But don't forget that Quincy still have control of the spirit particles they absorb. So it's matter manipulation vs matter absorption(with control).
I'm glad I'm not the only person who sees the upper potential of Fullbringers! They could really have this tug of war battle with Quincy but it makes sense since their powers are born of Hollows and the SK.
Souls and spirits aren't the same thing.
There's Phisical matter, spiritual matter and souls which are intangible to even spirits.
Yhwach's power stealing uses that soul, that's why his power stealing light wasn't blocked by the spirit blocking power of that squad 0 member.

Besides maybe fullbring bankai seem to be by far the worst transformation with Vollständig and resurrección giving you a clear boost and bankai being more gimmicky and utility based most of the time
OK so I wanted to bring this up that unmastered bankai have massive weaknesses. You can completely disrupt a young bankai with a blast of spirit energy. I just ran out of time
I came back to this after some more thought since yesterday. Its kinda unfair to rank Hollows in the manner that they are. Arrancar were given the ability to use Zanpakto by Aizen. He was essentially trying to break the limits between hollows and soul reapers. So on the basis of inherent ability I think only full bringer and quincy should top this list. As their abilities are entirely their own.
I explained why arrancar are allowed. Hollows can naturally obtain these powers I even give examples of powerful Hollows who obtained their power through natural means. Starkk and Ulquiorra are both natural born arrancars and arguably the 2 strongest outside of Yammays power storage and Rage ability.

@@2centswanted113 it also poses the question of whether or not multistage release are naturally attainable. As I understood it, Ulquiorra recieved power amps from Aizen. So it begs the question of whether or not that was only attainable as a result of Aizen? As far as Im aware hollows were essentially always in release state, like animals if you will before Aizen experimented on them. So Id think the abilities associated with their zanpakto would not otherwise be attainable because they dont have a medium to consolidate it?

@@darkwarrior20001 No because it is a power they can naturally obtain and they arent perfect hybrids. A perfect hybrid is Tosen. Ichigo isn't a simple hybrid either he is all of the races there is a lot of grey area but essentially the Hollows can literally pull off their own mask and gain a boost but still are Hollows with just Hollow reiatsu.
No Ulquiorra did not get any special power from Aizen. It's even emphasized that his Segunda Etapa form is unknown to Aizen. Halibel for example is confirmed to have gotten her power up from Aizen.
The arrancar Res ability is like bankai in that the core power is released meaning their core which is exactly what a banaki is releasing the zanpakuto spirit. But the boost Res gets isn't the same as bankai because the databooks say that Yammys first Res is 10x boost which puts him at 0 for the Espada meaning the other Espadas Res don't give a 10x boost and we see this in the fights.

It's never stated or shown but I wouldn't be shocked FB Bankai Ichigo is a monster and he'd probably need it. I wouldn't be shocked if he used the Balance to break it either

People are just being bias about what they want to include. Like one dude thinks Hollows need to eat others to get stronger isn't outside help but Ywach giving them pure blood is outside amp. Like they are both natural ways for them to get stronger through ingesting another of their race.

Quincys can't naturally gain hollow powers, they'd die. It's possible MAYBE with a Hogyoku. But the Human races don't just become the other ones it's almost always a special circumstance. The only natural hybrids are arrancars

The Fullbring are still shit characters. Their powers are just uninteresting. Orihime's power suppose to be godlike but everytime we see Shinigami replicate what she can do better.
I feel Yhwach doesn't really deserve to be counted as the highest potential of the Quincy because he is the guy who made them aside from the parts of the Soul King which are their own entity and not sure if they really count as traditional quincy. Some of the Quincy's ability aren't even natural but bestowed by Yhwach like the Vollständig, Schrift and Auswählen. But then again you might say that about REAL Arrancar and the Vizards who are mock Arrancar.
The mightiest Arrancar could possibly be Tousen because he could have all Hollow and Shinigami abilities and thus all Arrancar and Vizard abilities. He has both Bankai and Resurreccion. He can use Kido and Cero. Garganta and Senkaimon.
Shinji and the others have been hollowfied with an incomplete Hougyoku and maybe can use Resurreccion. Arrancar have no Shinigami abilities besides Zanjutsu and the ability to release a Zanpakuto. But they have no Shikai nor Bankai. Hey may have immediate access to some abilities while Shinigami have to release their Zanpakuto before that, but then Shinigami can control their Spirit Powers better by changing Zanpakuto sizes; Experts can release shikai without announcing and have Kido spells. How can Cero compete? There are variation of it and it is a basic ability that may surpass traditional Kido but still.
In certain aspects I feel Hollows get nerfed when getting Shinigami powers like they have limited regeneration and whatnot. Meanwhile the Vizards have no unique abilities like the Arrancar. The exception being Tousen who is a proper Arrancar and Ichigo who is a completely different kind of being.
I feel the Quincy abilities are also really underwhelming or uninteresting for fights. I don't count Yhwach because he is something completely different. Not even the peak of Quincy because he made them.

Ichibe's bankai I feel is redundant. Why would you need a power that changes someone's powers when you need to take them away with the shikai where they are already powerless? It makes no sense.
In terms of offensive power, I think Shinigami definitively win.
Quincy rely on where they fight to get the most out of their abilities. Meaning quincy are stronger in Hueco Mundo than in the Living World.
For Arrancar it usually depents on the character and what they sacrificed for their powers. To be able to seal Yamamoto's Bankai Wonderweiss lost most of his intellect.
Fullbrings are a mess so no reason to talk about them.
Shinigami have a guarantied 5 to 10 times boost. They can enhance their powers with Kido, Hollowfication or archive never stages of Bankais which apparently exist too. Looking at Byakuya and Toshiro. This is obviously ignoring Super Reiatsu which Ichigo, Renji, Byakuya and Rukia have from training in the Soul Palace which make the Vizard Captains look like fodder... I can't believe Kubo shafted the Vizards like that. They had so much advantages to do something and ended up being put to the background. Complete disappointment.
To be fair, quincys can get scrifts without yhwach, I forgot which chapter it was, but it is shown the royd scrifts somehow learning they're scrift ability, I forgot how it worked, but they can get scrifts without yhwach, other than that, you make fair points.
