Plus the intestinal distress you will have for 2 to 3 days is really bad as well. I did this challenge a year ago and I completely regret it.

I learned a trick from eating a bunch of super hots a few years ago, even though it seems counter intuitive, close your mouth and don't open it for several minutes. Eventually the saliva build up in your mouth will dull the screaming heat to a more tolerable level. Taking drinks of milk, although it sooths for the second, seems to reignite the sensation of max pain once you open your mouth again lol

I eat jalapeños like chips so I tried a habanero and was miserable. There’s no way that I’d consider eating a Reaper knowing that it’s even hotter. Hat’s off to you! I bet it didn’t feel very good coming out the other end either.

Honestly, if you want to get a sense of how hot these peppers are, the secret is to only eat a small piece. You will be amazed how hot even a tiny sliver of Ghost, Scorpion or Carolina Reaper can be!

I did the test just moments ago and was searching for videos of others who did the same non sense I did. My experience had two differences: the pepper was already dehydrated, which seems to potentialize its effect. Secondly, the capsaicin got stuck in my tonsils and my uvula, not my tongue. The pain was excruciating. I drunk one quart of yogurt, until it finally subsided. It was probably the worst pain I ever felt.
Good job!! Tip for next time? When you put the milk in your mouth, spit it out. Swallow a little for your throat, but spit out 90% of it and some heat will go with it. :)
