+1 like for losing stuff right in front of you. I do that all the time!
To be fair, that was a damned good hiding spot! 😂❤

I've lost stuff before, but this was a whole new level, it took me an age to find it, but I was laughing about it for a while. All the best, Matt. 👍

Hi Matt. It's those evil workshop ghosts working overtime moving things around.

Indeed RB, shame I didn't have the camera rolling at the time of its disappearance, I could have looked back and found it quicker. 😂. All the best, Matt 👍

Next time you drop in, remind me to lend you my magnetic drill. Makes life much easier. When do the hoodies go on general release matey?🤓 You are making great progress Matt, love the "clues" carefully stored around the workshop... Looking forward to seeing two completely different Tinks in Steam next year. Lots of Rum and SC to celebrate perhaps?

Grum, I would so love a mag drill, would make drilling the holes for the cylinders much easier, you know them ones I haven't done yet. Nobody has noticed the Easter eggs until now, you don't miss a thing!! Hopefully we shall be both in steam, you can have the Southern Comfort, I'll have the Rum. All the best buddy, Matt 👍

Have you maybe considered getting a cordless drill with an all metal chuck? An absolute world of improvement over the plastic chucks.
    Enjoying the build

Had a similar thing happen a few months ago. Made some spacers for a gearbox, got a call, went talking came back, one of them had vanished. I work alone, wasn't on the floor, nowhere else. Two days later i gave up and made another part. The next day after, i found the bloody spacer gripped on my swarf magnet which is attached with a loop to my mill. The thing had fallen off the mill, somehow, and got itself stuck to the magnet. Probably would've found it before making another part if i hadn't been so pissed off i didn't even clean the mill from the previous operation.
They drive you nuts, these "disappearance cases' in the shop. 😂

So why didn’t you clean the surface up the pipes whole length before assembling the base and easy in the lathe? However, keep it up, cracking job, Ian

Need all the weight I can get for traction, I have a couple of powerful heavyweights to keep up with 😉.
