Thank you for making me aware! That was an error in the editing process. I will adjust this. For now, I am creating a black and white visual aid before we start the dodge and burn process. Thanks again!
i am sorry there is something I could not understand well could you make me right on this .. how could I target correct area to dodge >> is that by finding the shadow spots on the face and dodge it also the opposite is true on burning ?? sorry my EN not that good to understand it well on the video Finally, all thanks
I apologize if that was confusing. Yes you are absolutely correct! When you are dodging you are actually looking for the darker spots & when you are burning, you are looking for the lighter spots. Thank you for watching!
@@ElenaJasic Hi! So, you're looking for darker areas to lighten (dodge) and lighter areas to darken (burn)? I thought it was the reverse: to further darken darker areas and lighten lighter areas. Sorry for the confusion. I'm trying to visualize this as if I were in a darkroom.
@@rnursemd You are correct with what it means. However, in this video we are using it in a different way. When you reverse the method, you're able to use it for skin retouching. Things you would normally have to do with the patch tool, clone stamp or healing brush (which completely disrupt the pixels) you can now "smooth out" or "even out" areas to make it have a flawless appearance. Once you are done with the clean up, THEN you can go back to the original method, to really sculpt the face for a finishing touch. Hope this helps! Thank you for watching!
It’s unfortunate to see the sound go mute from the beginning of the tutorial. You’ve got great talent, would love to learn from you. I have your book as well.
@@Alxnder7 It's not perfect, but I don't think losing sound for a small small portion of the video, where you can clearly visually follow along is worth deleting the video.
@@ElenaJasic Well, it happens in several parts of the video, and for long enough periods for people to get annoyed and just go look for a different tutorial, as I did. The process can seem complex enough without the missing explanations. I think you'd get much more full views and likes if you just fixed it and uploaded it again.
@@Alxnder7 It actually doesn't. It only happens in the beginning part, unfortunately. Sorry this free video didn't work out for you. We wish you all the best.
Lost sound at about 2mins for 30 secs, don't know what you were doing.

Your amazing 🙌🏾

Miss you!
Can you make a video on color correcting and color grading?
It's tough to make this kind of content because it's SO subjective, but I do plan to make a video on a the tools I use to color grade & correct.
Elena Jasic awesome, can’t wait
@@ElenaJasic would love to see a video on skin tones

Thank you!
Amazing !!!! Thank you! Today tried this...and result was super great!!!
So happy to hear this! Thank you!!!
Great tutorial, very helpful! Perhaps you can slightly speed-up the silent sections of your tutorials.
I've sped up the silent sections by A LOT, but perhaps I will just cut some of the footage out. Thank you for the feedback!

I love it

Your video seems really good but for the newbie i wish you had done a better job with the naming labeling of the groups

Yes it is! Luckily it's not a crucial spot and I'm able to explain it via text.
My book?
lost sound, cant tell whit you are doing
Please fix your sound!
Unfortunately, once the video is posted, there isn't much I can do. I am adding in annotations to help future viewers. Thank you!
@@ElenaJasic Delete it, fix it and upload it again. It's no good at all like this.
