What’s even worse is when I started making my own self-improvement content a year ago and blew up for preaching things I wasn’t even implementing. Now I’ve stopped making and watching content (I realized that’s a lie after I typed that, if I’ve stopped watching content, why am I watching this?), have stripped away all the bs and am taking pure action. Honestly, this is the best self-improvement video I have ever seen.
Sometimes, I think to myself what am I even doing with my life. Why am I here, instead of where I want to be. It's so hard to notice the good changes in your life. A bird's eye view helps with that.
I remember the feeling I got when I made some good money in January 2020 at 18 years old. It made me feel like I was on top of the world. Last month I made 7 and half times that amount. It's very easy to get lost in thoughts and feel like giving up, but taking a look back at my journey, where I started and where I wanted to be, reminds me of how far I've come.
You may have achieved the goals you set for yourself years ago and now worry about reaching new ones. However, it's important to remember that where you are now was once a distant dream.
At least that's been my experience so far. Thank you, Jose, for being like family.

Jose idk if you’ll ever see this but I really watched your content hard for about 3 years. Helped me so much. Then 2022 came and you weren’t kidding, I felt like I graduated and learned so much. Gone from 160-180 lbs and moved to my dream state in the mountains. I’m 22 now, and you taught me a lot about being a more than a lot of people. Keep it up bro. Jose, thank you. I am older, yet I still find your content informative, educational, entertaining among other things. This video IMHO is probably the one people need the most. Being older, I'm a little behind on the self awareness journey but I'd rather start late then not start at all. Just because someone is younger does not mean you can't learn from them. Obviously it works the other way around as well. Stay strong stay hard stay up everyone. Life is hard af so you gotta be harder or it will just eat you up. For a time I was being eaten up and over two years ago I decided I was done with letting that happen. Now I have over 2 years of sobriety, have some money, great friends and family. I am not a loser but I feel I haven't won everything I want yet but I will. Thanks to people like Jose, other content creators and some others only I know, I have been able to grow myself into a better version on myself.

Been watching since 2017. Ive learnt a lot & thankfully I did take some action. That's where the problem lies, it's "some action". I really needed this video, thank you Bro, I won't allow myself to keep on falling into this pit of inferiority. I worked out for 3months straight, but I didn't gain a lot of muscle, it made me feel like I was wasting my time. Its been 2months & honestly I feel like shit, I miss working out. To wait for the day that Jose writes a book or creates a documentary would be worth the wait and I would buy it in a heartbeat cause I am curious to know where it all began. The grit, the determination, the drive, the confidence, its something that we all can have but you really have to want it. I have analyzed and implemented his tips from videos and have seen a drastic change in myself physically and mentally. I am nowhere near where I want to be, but I know I am better than where I left off. I was in that loop for a while until I decided to take action and because of this I have found my own purpose and my drive. So, in that note, I just wanted to say thank you TMF fam and Jose for helping me be the better man than I was yesterday.

Hey Jose, you do not know me but I've probably been subed to your channel for a few years now. If I remember correctly I think I found you looking up information on Minoxidil haha. (and yes, I do indeed have a beard now). I don't think I have consumed your content in the typical way most people do tbh, part of me sees you as a role model, part of me sees you as a fantastic representation of what it means to be a man and continuously challenge yourself as a man, and part of me does see you as a companion of some kind. Somebody walking down their road while I walk down mine. Over the years I have loved checking in on your content, and watching you grow and develop as a creator and a man.Truly an inspiration. There was definitely some jealousy there as well though HAHA! I am a couple years older so I have felt the pressure from you being a younger man who has so effectively mapped out their life and attacked plan after plan after plan. It's all good though, because this is exactly the most important lesson I learned through your channel.
That jealousy had nothing to do with you, and EVERYTHING to do with me. What I was really feeling was disappointment in myself, my choices, and my conduct. This realization is only part of the battle though, learning how to channel that negative energy into positive action is where the magic is! After that, its consistency.
I know this is a long comment but what I am getting at is this, thank you. Thank you for being the POC representation I needed to see when I was a younger man struggling to be secure in Me and my own skin. Thank you for being a positive role model, educating our younger brothers/sisters/siblings. Thank you for being consistent and real in a world filled with half-truths and broken promises. That part about remembering where you started really hits home. I was in a really dark place during Covid and found myself on academic warning. I was a loser that played video games and didn’t want to put in the work.
Since then I’ve climbed back to a 3.0 gpa, joined a club for networking, and even landed an internship this summer. I’m on track to graduate with an engineering degree, and I’m honestly more proud of the journey than the result.

I can relate. I'm a 20 years old, I got into one of the widely-regarded 'best' university in my country, I've been going to the gym, I've been watching self-improvement videos for as long as I can remember. I thought I was on a better road than my friends who spend half of their day gaming. Yet I still find myself feeling like a loser. I look at my life and see that half of my day is actually just 'watching' self-help videos. I have very few friends, I've never got a girlfriend in my life. I do think I've got a decent style and I'm attractive in a way bla bla, but I never took the chance to tell a girl I like/love her. Your point about these videos being the drug just like porn is true Jose. MEN MUST TAKE ACTION. Or else, at the end of the day, you will still have that feeling in your stomach just like me. Deep down, you know you're still a loser, still so far off your goal.
One good thing I find working positively for me is to simply turn my phone and laptop off. Put on an outfit I'm comfortable in and just step outside. If you wanna study, go to a library or a coffee shop. If you have nothing in your mind, go to the gym or go for a walk. Still much better than sitting home scrolling mindlessly through videos and social media posts.
I know this is a long comment, many might think I'm just sad, depressed and have nothing more fun to do at the moment other than writing a comment no one might even read. Honestly, no. I just find this video very very important, the message hits hard and I believe every men should hear it. I must say thank you! I think I needed to listen this, I'm working 3 days each week doing kick boxing and I uninstall my social media including removing the notifications. But still I keep feeling isn't enough. Sure it's a good begging but I should move forward and get more knowledge. I need investing on books, I don't like so much but I know it's because of a lot dopamine in my mind. I'm addicting to porn since my's 7/8 years. It's been almost 10 years since I start watching the dirty content and I realise 3 years ago that is a bad thing. My best streak on nofap was 50 days a week ago I was on 40 days but I relapsed.
