Better watch his match against Croatian rock (Zeljko Mavrovic).......
Mc call never sent to canvas in his career. He is one fo the greatest "What if" in boxing history. He also knocked down Tyson in sparring.
this is truly the best channel I have ever watched, about accurate and interesting stories of fighters
McCall was LL’s wake-up call that he needed to change trainers and become a more skilled, technical boxer. If LL hadn’t made the change, he would have been remembered as a talented, big HW, who was technically flawed and had a suspect chin. However he hired Manny, became a tremendous technician in the ring who held onto the title for a long time. His style wasn’t as crowd pleasing as his pre-McCall style was, but he learned a more technical, safety-first style that worked for him. However he had a number of exciting fights and he went onto be a top 10 HW great. The McCall fight was shocking, but Lennox got the message, and it helped him go from a technically flawed champion to a tremendous technical fighter with a big punch who held onto the title for a long time.
I remember both fights.
Gut wrenching to see Oliver have that breakdown during the fight.
Credit where credit is due, he took Lewis’ best shots and walked right through them!
Pretty obvious Mccall was told to throw the 2nd fight by the powers that be.
Mccall explained what happened, he didn't throw the fight he had a mental breakdown
most likely because he was threatened to take a dive, and knew the consequences of not doing just that
@@mattcarafa210 He was battling drug addiction. They guy had just gotten out of rehab and was forced to train for the rematch. He had a nervous breakdown in the ring. He wasn't mentally sound enough to be in that match.
@@67Lich He took one punch too many and his brains what's left of them they scrambled.
Clearly, McCall had a nervous breakdown mid-fight... not only should he have been given an immediate rematch, for Lewis to celebrate the victory was classless! Honestly, it's AMAZING this hasn't happened MORE in the history of boxing!
One thing you gotta love about Lennox Lewis is he always put right his mistakes
no... he flee from klitschko rematch, hes a coward ... fake undisputed champ
@mariuszrogowski7397 crazy talk. He partied for better part of a year after finally getting Tyson in tte ring and still cut Klitschko to shreds. Olympic Champion who won every Pro belt there was to win beating every man he ever faced and did it the against the americans in america. Put some respect on his name!
@@mariuszrogowski7397сколько раза он должен был победить кличко?Десять раза что-ли!?Один раза победил и всё нахрен реванш!
Lennox is pretty impressive and better than I wanted to admit
McCall was crazy! Crazy people have crazy strength! He could have beat Lewis the second time but McCall went into a pitty party.😮
McCall was perfectly normal at the start of the fight. After being totally outclassed by Lewis for 3 rounds and seeing what was coming, McCall then had his breakdown
i think he was paid/threatened to throw the fight
I know Oliver McCall personally. I watched his disappointing fall. He had potential even back when he used to spar with Tyson. But unfortunately he couldn’t shake his demons.
I watched this fight in my heart eight for that man that night no one will ever understand the power of love, and when Jesus comes into your life, you’ll know it
McCall had bigtime punching power . That was never in doubt
After his withdrawal fight against Lennox, Oliver fought two fights in the same year in 1997, and he only suffered a mental breakdown in his career once, against Lennox.
This is a lie and nonsense, and the man wanted to withdraw before he was eliminated by knockout, because this man, “Oliver,” had never been defeated in his career except by points, so he deceived the fools who believed him by withdrawing and crying. . If he was honest, he would have asked for a third fight against Lennox
After that fight, it is logically impossible for a man to fight two fights in the same year after withdrawing and crying, and then continue his entire career like that and not collapse except on that night in which he withdrew and cried. I still marvel at the stupidity of those who believed him.
@oOorabe7oOo.
Oliver, who cried like a baby and walking round the ring like a spoiled brat, is far more of a disgrace compared to being knocked out! Oliver knew earlier on after the first few rounds that he was beaten, but instead of doing the honourable thing by declaring that he could not go on anymore and have the fight stopped, then he would have at least kept his honour, but instead, he lost both that and the fight.
When he was crying like a baby running around
He use to quit in sparring all the time too. If he’s not getting any shots in he breaks down.
Oliver McCall was a good fighter. He often was his own worst enemy, but beyond that he was as skilled as any heavy of the time. Amazing how fragile a fighters psyche can be, especially when substances are in play. He made a mark and so many cannot say the same.
Lewis only lost fights when he was overconfident and overweight. When he wad focused and trained properly he didn't lose to anyone.
loved this fight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oliver McCall broke down in a depressed state, profusely crying and couldn't continue. It was really quite embarrassing
I would not put much stock in a flash knock out. Any heavyweight can knock out any other heavyweight
true - every mug has at least got a puncher's chance
@@mditt7 That’s the fun of the division which currently lacks talent or fun.
@@Civil_War_Now ain't that the truth.
Lenox lewis is my favorite heavyweight
Lennox was best heavyweight of that Golden Era.......He was the man, the only man to defeat everyone he faced.
IT SEEMS THAT HE WAS THREATENED,THAT'S WHY HE WAS CRYING,THAT HAS HAPPENED WITH A LOT OF BOXERS!!🙏🙏🙏🙏👁️👁️
Threatened by whom?
@@cambonious23maybe he meant "treated" with drugs for his mental state? It was known McCall wasn't really ok psychologically. Not because of boxing. He had problems
So did Hassan Rachman. It happens even to the great ones like Lennox Lewis greetings from TMR .The public did not embrace an English Jamaican from 🇨🇦 plus he was boring unlike. Stay Tyson but he was good The Atomic Bull had skills he was strong, fast and had good reflexes. His problem was his addiction and demons, he took substances he should mot have.
I felt bad for McCall. He was going through something and I felt bad for the dude
Rocky Balboa was the best boxer, he won over Drago!
Lennox Lewis is the GOAT of the Heavyweight division that’s why he sits on Top
Great fight
2:21 Dang breh
no guy test !
Lewis vs Bowe would’ve been worth the price of a ticket…
One of the WORST/early stoppages in HISTORY!
Lewis dropped a bowling ball on his foot the day before the fight. Just like in horseracing sometimes a 99/1 shot comes in.
Mcall was Tyson’s sparring partner .
Btw not the original ringside announcers
McCall and Andrew Golota would have been another "crazy" fight.
Something must have been wrong prior to the second fight.
McCall knew he'd never beat Spinks again.
Leon or Michael?
Why do the rules allow a fighter to wear their shorts and protective gear so high as to take away body shots?
that era Lewis was almost perfect boxer, 6'5, long reached, great jab but minus chin. imagine if you are the one of 2 boxers that made prime Lewis kiss the canvas. Oliver and Rachman are underrated boxers of all time
But both had a knockout power
You do realize Lewis was standing after the McCall knock down with his gloves raised to his chin in the defensive positioning when the ref prematurely called the fight
Minus chin?? He fought the best and was hit thousands of times and only put down twice!
@@travzimmerman1340 His legs were clearly gone, he fell right into the ref. If Lewis was able to continue, he would of been knocked spark out.
I was there.
Getting caught with one huge punch is not an ass-kicking. Enough with your BS titles and thumbnails from the wrong fight. You don't seem to like Lennox Lewis either
Had manny in his corner mc call
Strange indeed.
"1 AM" can ONLY be "in the morning"... why are people so STUPID!?!?!
"Enough of the games mate, you're messing with the Grand Master".............seriously, LL was an all time great but his "trash" talk was God Awful
Imagine , Tyson’s sparring partner sparked out Lewis. Imagine if Tyson fought Lewis then - sane result ...Lewis would have been KoD
Oliver Macall was a nut case 😮😢
He rack a disaprin
Love the way Lewis is blatantly bout on his feet.. Pretends his not
If you can pretend after a shot like that…
He was up. Fight shouldn't have been stopped. Simple as that.
Lewis had two losses by KOs
Ridiculous rematch
They couldn’t do this without AI 🤖 😆🥃🃏
Tyson in that period was in jail...I think he could have beaten this Lewis...in his prime Tyson was unbeatable in my opinion
I wouldn’t say Lewis got his butt kicked. He just got caught with a big shot.
Lewis' chin wasn't all that great. His excellent defense hid it pretty well, but when he got caught it was bad.
Lewis the Great. Only one of his 2 losses of his professional career.
Rematch vs Oliver, Oliver started sobbing in the ring 😂
Too bad McCall didn't keep himself in check on a psychological level.
John 6:63
Fixed probably had to pay a debt off that McCall or something fixed Lewis not in on it.
McCall and Ibeabuchi were both great hw talents that succumbed to drug abuse
oliver mccall was LEVELS above lennox lewis😤😤😤
Was....until that belt.
Well then why did he not try to fight Lewis in their rematch?
@@ianblake815 because he was COKED UP🤣🤣🤣 he even said it in an interview years later, he said coke makes him emotional lol.
Bull 💩 and their respective careers prove it beyond doubt.
@@thegoat6116 dude you sound stupid. Since when does cocaine immobilize someone's ability to fight. If anything it would help you. He was "Levels above Lennox Lewis" in getting high, that's about it. You're just a hater
Lanix and Mayweather were oppurtunist, they waiting for rivals prime time expired. I think Tyson and George were beast no body come closed to them, they not flee even they are beaten.
Это твой тупой мнение!!!
Ridiculous the ref stopped this fight.
What? LL couldn't even stand still! He was wobbling left and right and he knew it. He had to lean on the ref to pretend he was ok but luckily the ref stopped the fight when he felt Lewis body on him...
🇺🇸 올리버 맥콜 👍
K0 🎉
Lewis is one of the greatest Heavyweights to ever do it.
if you would had said that in front of lennox so then your
ass would have been the same
ЛЕННОКС ЛЬЮИС абсолютный чемпион!!!Кто такой маккол и Рахман!!!Маккол явно не победил после удара ЛЬЮИС стал показал у него всё нормально судья не было профессиональный или покупной!!!
Lennoxtown Lewis is a Hall of fame Boxer...but an absolute amateur in promotional vocabulary 😂
Lol Lewis was about to body slam McCall in round one
bad stoppage
Is this a joke?
He was up at the count of 6 by a punch thrown blind i'd hardly call that an ass kicking. No one kicked Lewis' ass
Tyson would never lose to a guy like McCall 😂
Tyson would never fight him. Ducked everyone in the 90s other than Evander and he only took the Evander fight after seeing the Czyz fight.
You do realize that Mccall was his #1 sparring partner.
@@swervobandz3932 Yep and never lost to him. Lewis got knocked tf out tho 💯
@@travzimmerman1340 Tyson > Boring/Overrated Lewis
So Lennox never beat him
Yes, the 2nd fight Lennox won by TKO.
Mccall saved Lewis from Bo
Bo threw his belt away to avoid the mandatory Lewis so that is a lie
@@stephenford6132 nah
@@proudtobeasimp7259 go look it up man are you trolling right now or just don't know wtf you're talking about it that's old news fam

" English" heritage. Lol
No oliver mcall was a mental case & lennox thought shit was sweet till it got sour😂 p.s any1 who has mental issues if you can seek help🙌🙏
Dude use better text to speech or narrate it yourself.
The last three videos and this one, I tell the story myself and don't use what you described.
Lewis was extremely overrated
lewis was grabber, a hugger and head butter, and hold head and hit. never rated him even though he won some fights, he was dirty and so was frank bruno. same tactics ..good referees wold have limited bruno and lewis fouls and cheating. . ..shame so many referees are useless and on the bribery payroll.
No way Lewis was a clean fighter with the best jab then cleared up the division beat everyone in the end come on credit where Credit is due
Tell me you're a clueless casual Tyson fangirl without telling me you're a clueless casual Tyson fangirl
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@travzimmerman1340 yep how did you know. ? that you don't know. don't you know, ?

Oh, you know I know that I know you know I know.
No disrespect but hire a narator that actually speaks english.
Lennox Lewis was a good heavyweight, he just had a suspect chin.
Lewis was an accident waiting to happen. Never a stellar chin and quite sloppy with his punches.
