Such a wonderful video Nanny. And yes, Moosie is great. And you are so right... constipation is a real life fact at 70. Thanks for sharing Nanny. ... Glenda
Loved this visit with you dear Hunchy Bunchy. Such a loving memory of your Daddy. My beloved Daddy called me “Toots” and I relish that memory. Thank you for sharing them with all your virtual friends. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Love hearing all your stories! I can almost feel your granddaughters excitement at finding the shoes she wanted. Last Saturday my husband and I went Goodwill thrifting with our oldest grandson and his girlfriend. They were so surprised when we added their cart to ours at the checkout. What fun we had! I agree with you about firefighters. My son is an EMT and firefighter. They are true everyday heroes! You brought sweet tears to my eyes with your story about your dad....thanks for sharing such a funny, loving story. You and Moosie stay cool and safe. ❤
Love your stories, keep‘em coming! Reminds me of Chit chat with Granny Pat’s channel! She is a great storyteller! I love you and Moosie! 🥰 God Bless us all!🙏
Oh Nanny, love that you share your adventures with us. Such sweet memories. Remember that each time you spend time with your beautiful grandchildren you are making wonderful memories with them. How lucky we are that you can share all your adventures with us. We need to send our love to all those who’s memories of their parents may not be as happy as ours. It doesn’t take much to make someone’s day a little brighter, or a burden a little lighter. Sometimes a big smile and a happy greeting is all it takes. We are sharing this journey with many others and a little kindness will make it easier for all of us. Oh my, how I do go on! Have a marvelous weekend and God bless us all. 💞
Hooray I can hear you when you are in your garden. So much better. Blue is your color - you look so pretty with that blue robe on. Nice color of blue. Enjoy your weekend!
Hi Nanny, Just love your stories about your dad and you thrifting With Ryan how exciting getting the DM so nice seeing you and Moosie in the garden having coffee and chatting love your stories Thanks Nanny and Moosie 🤣😘
Nanny how sweet are you ? LOL Finally a little quip about constipation, and of course you are right about the greens ... even fruit, which I love but I know I have to use some moderation with. Your stories were very cute, as was Moose .. I love the blue and white theme. I think living in Holland and collecting Delft dishes was just so satisfying as were their flea markets .. getting what you think is a bargain, even over a small item, just leaves you with a spark of happiness and it keeps on glowing when you look at the object . Love your garden and especially those roses ..gorgeous ! Happy Weekend to all of you !
Nanny I love how you share your life with us. Whatever the topic is I love hearing your stories and following your journey. Today when you shared the memory of your father I was tearing up with you. I can only imagine how wonderful your parents were. What a blessing to have them sit down, think of you, and write out their love for you! What a treasure. God bless you always.
Good morning Nanny! Loved all your stories especially the one about your Daddy! No matter our age, we miss our Daddy and Mama, don’t we? Take care and hope y’all have a great weekend! 💕
I just found your videos and I can't get enough of you. You are so sweet, beautiful and very lovely. I just learned how to comment. I'm so excited. Lol
It's always great to see you Nanny, no matter what your subjects are. Today was a little mixture of different things and I enjoyed it. Love your stories!! You know it doesn't matter how long ago that our mom and dad passed. We still miss them terribly. I felt your sadness when you spoke of him. I am the youngest of six kids and my dad called me Jackrabbit and scooterdoodit. This is so funny . I had a great dad as well. ❤ See you next time !❤
What a wonderful visit!. I do enjoy these little episodes. Isn't it funny what these little stories can produce. I live in the South in Virginia where we can spend an hour speaking to a new friend that you just hadn't met yet. Yesterday, I spend an hour speaking to a lovely lady named Lottie while shopping at Kroger. We had never laid eyes on each other, but hugged each other when we parted. Our parting words were that we hoped to meet again , but would surely meet again in Heaven. Sometimes life just surprises us by gracing us with joy by meeting a soul sister at the grocery store.
This has happened to me also ,GG…several times…and in many cases we never did meet again. I still have lovely memories of my conversations with these people! Thanks for sharing.❤️
Haha! Nanny I thought to myself what a gorgeous outfit you are wearing, but it's your jammies. Well I must say, that satin blue and those 'trousers' look amazing on you. 💕
I teared up too when you were telling us your sweet story about your Dad. I just told the story about my Dad the other day. I am the oldest child and 1st to have a baby. Baby was a couple of months old. 8:00 on a Saturday morning we were still in bed doorbell rings I go to the door it is Dad which throws me into panic as I think something happened to Mom. I said what's wrong he said I just want to see her wake up!!! I was so surprised never thought he was that interested. Made me happy!! Sorry for rambling. I miss my folks too. Hugs to you and Moosie.
You are a true gift….thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into sharing your life with us…..if it’s about something happening today or many years ago…..you are a treasure…and Moosie too😊
Hey Nanny love this video l know l was a only girl with doughting Dads that is gone to l miss him dearly. Glad your granddaughter found her boots . Your pots are beautiful. God Bless you my friend Kathy South Carolina Southern Belle.♥️🌺
I can honestly say, your videos are the ONLY ones I watch the whole advertisement after you’ve ended, ….. only for you and Moosie. Much love, and God Bless!
Love shopping with my granddaughters!! It doesn't happen often enough. You brought tears to my eyes when you were talking about the letters you received from your parents. I moved 600 miles away in 1971. Mom, my sisters and i wrote letters faithfully. I still have a box full of the ones i saved. Its a wonderful memory to sit down and read thrm. Some people will never know that. Haha. Barrels!! Thats a new one. Love your stories. I ate cottage cheese and berries for breakfast too. We love hearing your stories ❤❤ good to see Moosie and love you both. You are an angel. You had very loving parents. Thats made you the good woman you are today. God bless yall❤
So good to see Moosie join in, would love to hear the full recitation of Gunga Din. What great thrift store buys! And yes, incontinence & constipation go with aging, but important to talk about because that stuff has to keep working for us to stay healthy. Loved the sweet memory of your daddy's letters; having just lost Mom the end of May I'm still dealing with frequent tears over the oddest things. Love, hugs, & blessings to you both from (still scorched) West Texas. Pray for rain in Texas!
So heartwarming that you are moved still by sweet memories of your father, I teared up with you. No matter how old we get, your Mom’s your Mom, and your Dad’s your Dad. Sending you love and hugs 🥰❤️🥰
Nanny, you two are so cute! What a story about the paramedics! You know you are being taken care of, that is for sure! Your granddaughter is beautiful! Thank you for this video. Just viewing this one for the first time. Each time you do a video, you bring sunshine and light to my evening! Thank you!
Good afternoon Nanny. I loved the whole video from what happened with the paramedics, shopping with your granddaughter who is very beautiful and friendly. The problems we all go through, such constipation, which is so normal but which seems to be taboo. I was also touched when you spoke about your father… who doesn’t miss our father and mother special if we speak about then? Nanny you are a wonderful storyteller. Have a nice weekend. Love you. God bless you all.
Nanny I loved that you shared about your daddy. I’m so sorry you have to miss him🥺 Funny the things that remind you of ppl you love that are gone. I cried in Aldi Christmas before last because I saw an old fashioned jar of hard candy that reminded me of my grandmother and it hit me how much I missed her. The Doc Martens were a huge score I’m jealous ha! Tell Moose to behave with that alert😜 Love the thrift finds😍 Y’all have a great weekend and please try to behave xx♥️😘😂
I loved all your stories Nanny and especially the one about your dad. You made me cry because I could relate to sweet memories of my Dad. No matter how old we get we are still daddy’s little girl. You’re such a dear! Love you all here and God bless us all! Hugs, Elizabeth XX 🫶🏻❤️😘😊🙏💕💕💕💕🌻🌻🌻🌻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻❤️😘🙏🌻🌻🌻
Love you Nanny and Moose. So enjoyed catching up with you’re Chat. Just you share Anything you want dear Nanny. That’s why we love you here on this Channel. You are Genuine, Honest and Kind Hearted. Looks like you and Moosie are getting more used to the hot weather! Thanks to Moosie for the poetry recital! Loved the story of Nannys father worrying about "barrols" What a sweet caring father!! Your granddaughter is absolutely beautifull!! -We all know where she got those genes from!! 😉
What a great story and memory finding those doc martins . Your granddaughter is very beautiful. When my husband and I discuss the issue in the future, we will forever call it barrels .😂 Enjoyed the talk!
I just had to comment! My dad used to write to me after I got married too and how I loved those letters. Happy happy memories...Cape Cod too! Thank you!
Hello again dear Nanny! So enjoyed your story video....what great finds thrifting. That Duck planter is adorable and will look great with your succulents or perhaps ivy. You may want put your plants into a small flower pot, set on a little dish inside the duck planter so there will be drainage. Loved the Doc Martin story. Never heard of these boots....only the amusing British series called Doc Martin staring Martin Clunes. Your honesty and humor and sharing the little facts of aging are so on target! I believe once we are able to laugh at some of these 'foibles' and inconveniences of aging we are on the right track to acceptance and finding ways to cope. I think I spied Ghost walking behind your patio chairs as well as beautiful Shamu taking her morning bath. Your lovely sharing of your dad's sweet concern for his gal and his letters was so special and sweet. From the old movie "The Boy with Green Hair" staring Gene Stockwell......here is a quote from the script......."to Love and be loved is the greatest joy." You have found this joy....loving your extended family and in return being so loved. Keep making that wonderful refreshing smoothie....I think I'll give it a try! Hugs from a nana in Pa.
Great story and great men! Thank you firefighters. Our grand daughter is thrifter also. This heat takes it all out of you. We wind up exhausted at the end of the day also! Lovely video.
Zz and you're enjoyed your stories today nanny I think I will try the cottage cheese and blueberries when I get my Walmart order this week I used to eat cottage cheese but not the blueberries and I know they are good for everyone have a great day now and take care
Hi Nanny, Moose 😊 I so enjoy your videos and appreciate you sharing stories w us. I also love firefighters as my uncle was one for 30+ yrs. I saw firsthand yesterday how fireman and ems save lives: a 10 yr old boy was on his escooter and fell and landed on handlebars and impaled himself. Right through his upper left shoulder. Lord have mercy it was tense. Well fireman and ems kept him on the ground and fireman sawed off scooter leaving the handlebar in his chest and ems whisked him to our childrens hospital. All bystanders erupted in to cheers and applause! So i too have tremendous love and admiration for our emergency services ❤ So glad your granddaughter got the Doc Martens 😊 Your emotions over your father shows love never ends. A sweet and tender story and yes, being regular is important! 😅
Nanny……myDaughter and granddaughter and I love to go thrifting, we find wonderful things for each other and for ourselves! As soon as you started talking about your Daddy I got a lump in my throat and when you stopped knowing you were going to start crying, I kept right on crying. I’m 84 and this always happens to me when I think about sweet things my parents would do. Thank you for being you and sharing your life. Often a meal you prepare inspires me to make it, I even bought some boxes of date nut bread and it was so good….Hugs & stay well❤️
Thank you Nanny loved the stories, what fun you had with your grand daughters. We all break up when we get nostalgic it’s all that love and no where to put it. Hugs Bea
Your positive approach to life after 80 is wonderful. It is so helpful for those of us who struggle with the “numbers.” As Art Linkletter once said, aging is not for sissies!! You obviously have a a strong, great determination to live every day well. I aspire to follow your example. Thank you!!! You’re a fantastic storyteller and conversationalist! I look forward to your posts. Pam❤
Oh Nanny your story of the letters from your father is so touching and I also love the casualness of the summer clothes and chat with you and Moosie I also took my grandaughter shopping yesterday. She is 12 and wanted nails so i bought her some also there were some leftover so she did mine but i tell ya i cant grow nails so i am learning how to type and use my hand with these nails but they do make my hands look pretty! The garden is stunning!
I loved hearing your stories. I am happy Ryan got her Doc Martens. My daughter was big into those too. Your flowers looks so beautiful! The pots are so cute. sending love to you and Moose! Have a wonderful weekend!

Love the stories you share of your family...what a touching story of your father. He sounds like he was a wonderful man. Love the frog planter. Succulents will look lovely in it.
Good morning Nanny,& Moosie! O.M.G.!! My mom, grandma were enema nuts..or Milk of Magnesia. No wonder I am irregular. You are funny,at 75 I don't get embarrassed anymore..pretty much have seen it all. I love your garden,so colorful. You& Moosie have a wonderful day, love you both& your cute stories.👍💞💙🦋🌺🌞🌴
Thank God enemas are not the only resource these days,Sheila…I hear you about those torture tubes! I got paid 25 cents to swallow Milk of Magnesia! Should have asked for more!! Thanks for the memory, Sheila…ugh! 😂😂😂❤️
Hi Nanny, I enjoy you whenever you do a video. The pleasure is all mine. Sometimes I wish I could see you and hear your stories more often. Thank you and Moosie for sharing.❤
My dad used to say when someone farted, "It's the plaintive cry of a captive turd"! I probably shouldn't have shared that, but I often think of him saying that. He sure did enjoy talking about bodily functions !!!! Love, Faith Falcone😄
That’s so funny, Faith…special. Saying we can’t forget bring us smiles and laughter…even those “off color” ones…Moose has a ton of them…I sometimes have to edit him…and he can’t understand why!!! ❤️
Love the goose planter. I know it will be lovely when you fiinish planting it. I would like to see if full of pathos. Can't you just see the tendrils flowing through and around the geese. Enjoy it. You are amazing.
Greetings Nanny! What a wonderful chat. I so enjoy spending time with you and your family and Shamu of course! My father was quite the letter writer himself. By the way, I am still working with my hair. The combs just were too big for my head, so I ordered a set of various sized ones. Keep your fingers crossed! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
Nanny, i must tell you this! You & moose looked so adorable sitting outside with your sun hats on! I enjoyed the stories you told today! Love those items you got when you went thrifting! GOD bless nanny & moose! ❤

Oh, Kate…how terrible.what a freak accident! Hope the little boy wii be ok..Amazing the skills that those firemen have! Thanks for sharing, Kate…❤️
Often a meal you prepare inspires me to make it, I even bought some boxes of date nut bread and it was so good….Hugs & stay well❤️
Thanks, Nancy…TG we have those sweet memories, right? Do you add the dates and nuts to the box mixture?❤️
@@crushingtheir80snannyandmoose yes, I actually my Amazon order was 6 boxes😆
Thank you Nanny loved the stories, what fun you had with your grand daughters. We all break up when we get nostalgic it’s all that love and no where to put it. Hugs Bea
Your positive approach to life after 80 is wonderful. It is so helpful for those of us who struggle with the “numbers.” As Art Linkletter once said, aging is not for sissies!! You obviously have a a strong, great determination to live every day well. I aspire to follow your example. Thank you!!! You’re a fantastic storyteller and conversationalist! I look forward to your posts. Pam❤
Thank you, Pam, for your very nice comment..❤️
