Just to wish you a very happy Christmas Will, we watch you all the time with great enjoyment, all the very best, Kay, Dave, Bubba Shrimp and Stinky Stanley Grub x 🎄☃️😊
@@NarrowboatWill 🤣🤣 Thank you!! Heidi loves the names too and Bubba Shrimp gets along with Bonnie great, Stinky Stanley the pup hasn't met her yet!! Have a great day x 🥰🎄☃️
Evening Will. Cold today wasn't it! That boathouse was unusual, nice to see. You do see all kinds of these on canals. A diffetent sort of man cave!!😂😂. Video looks quite "Summery" with optional clouds. Just watched Heidi talking to Nick Sanders with his Black Sea narrowboat. Got an old video of second part of his journey. Impressive when being towed by a barge breasted up with large bow wave. Keep warm. Regards. Paul 👍👍
A lot of content in there. Nice 😂 Hope you had a fab Christmas and new year. Been a while since I watched one of your videos gosh these Christmas breaks do stop you doing things you love eh.. Have fun not me back to work full time full week great. Kev the brinklow kayaker
All you need to do to stop paint going off in the tin is put the lid on tight (stand on it so the edges secure down firmly) then turn it upside down once, it removes the air & creates a seal. I saw this years ago on the TV program Changing Rooms, it really works! 😊
Morning Will 👋, more lovely weather today….. not🙃! That’s why is so nice to see blue sky and sunshine and you cruising on your vlogs. Glad you got your cupboard back in as you wanted. Have fun with your grandchildren today, they are so precious and grow up too fast! 😊🤙
Nice job Will with the diesel heater 👌 anyway thanks for all the nice videos throughout the year!!!!! I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a great new year 😊 take good care of yourself. ⛱️🌞
Those dpf filters are a pain the bum. Diesel cars need to be run at 3000 rpm for 30 mins once a month to clear them out. I'm glad you've sorted it out. 😀
Hi Will! Was just wondering, if that mechanic, with the ecu reader, could now take the fault off the ecu, now its fixed, and the warning light go off! 🤞 Love your vlogs mate! 💯 👍 💚
That light. Go away! 😂 Hope mr. Van will not poorly anymore and we can see him waggle it's towbar still. Think I am going to claim just something, because I am near it. That is really wierd behaviour of that man.
Hello Robert and Merry Christmas. I've encountered signs on the canal outside people's houses. No mooring. They have no right to say that unless they own the canal. I must admit. I'm sitting here now, and a boater near me is running his generator all day. It's a tiny boat. What on earth he needs all that power, for I don't know, but it's bloody annoying. Imagine him moored outside your house for weeks. That's probably why.. Take care, pal.
I reckon you could have made most of your heating system out of the scrap yard😊Seems like most window seats leak on boats .Enjoyed the cruise, just as well it rained to top up the canal as dredging is out of fashion 😂
I think the windows leak because my boat expands and contracts so much. All my joints inside have big gaps on hot days. Cracking and moaning. It's a never-ending job having a boat. Luckily, I enjoy it. 😉 😂 🤣
Hi Will, I was just wondering if there’s room to put insulation panels inside your cupboard to help with the diesel pump? They also make sticky sound deadening sheets that take up less room, just a thought, thinking is dangerous, as it usually leads to spending money,😊
@ Thanks 👍🏻 I’m not a mechanic but watching your vlogs makes me get off my arse and have ago 👍🏻 I’ve probably got 6 torx screws on the under tray I’ve dropped and never found yet 🤪😂👊🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hi will no doubt that you will fix the problem you are experiencing with the heating. Unfortunately I am having trouble with the gas boiler and it looks like I need a new one. I would tackle the job myself unfortunately I would be find if I did. Not being gas safe registered.??? 54£ for someone to tell me I have a water leak in the boiler.??? Rip off Britain how true this is. Anyway so!! As always keep yourself safe and well mate have a merry Christmas. And a happy new year.
There's nothing wrong with doing gas yourself. You have to get it tested and signed off by a gas safe person. I watched a gas safe bloke once, and his work was shoddy and dangerous. Not all gas safe people are actually safe. Take care Wayne. 👍
You might have clear the original fault on your van with a computer analyser link, back to reset…then the ECU will do its checks agn.. They don’t always self reset once the problem is sorted.. it does for light bulbs and minor faults…
I keep telling you it's the brain on Mr. Van. It is the same on my Duramax. For every thing to go at once it was the hand of God. A close lighting strike. If the lights can not be reset , it is a brain fault. I had to take mine to a "DEALER" since they are the only one that can reset a fault in the brain, and they said it needed to be replaced and it was most likely a lighting strike. Here the resets can be done by most anyone with a service pad but the main brain is a dealer reset. I have 2 or 3 boxes on my duramax and i have replaced every one of them but the main.$1200.00 for a used one. Boxes, gauge cluster, radio, fuel pedal, temp controls, booster fuel pump all fried at once. You can try and do a fuse connector cleaning for said fault light. I have to do it for the engine light every so often and it will reset. The lights that I can not reset are for the anti lock breaks and service break system.
I bet you're right, but I went back to the same guy, and he said the earth's bad to my turbo boost. He was right. I fixed it and went to turn the key, and it just clicks now. I think my starter wire is loose or dirty or a new starter. Trouble is its buried at the back. To be honest, after all my research, nobody has mentioned the brain. It's 9 times out of 10 a wiring fault on these vans. I will find this fault.. Fingers and toes crossed. 😂 🤣
@@NarrowboatWill Just have them try and reset it. All they have done is tell you the fault codes. Just try and clear them. That should show you if it is the brain. Yeah a near miss strike will show you most of the wiring faults. I have been dealing with them ever since that day. Our Tahoe we just had to sell, trying to trace everything down just cascaded on us. one thing lead to another and so on. I really do feel your pain. It's like Wack A Mole.
@lorencolt I know how you feel. The chap had the top tech. He couldn't remove the light because of an earth fault. I really appreciate your input. It's so frustrating because my van and engine are perfect. Perhaps it's all designed to fail.
You've got to feel sorry for people like that, what happened in his life to make him that way. We're all born knowing nothing with no preconceptions of the world. The first 7 years are supposedly when the human brain gets hard wired(basically it's operating system for life). Thanks for the vid
are you sure that lights supposed to go off when you fix the issue ? some of them stay on anyway until they're reset by the obd, you always get the odd rsole doesn't like you mooring by their garden lol there's a few up here with signs no mooring on their fences, totally unenforceable and put there by the homeowner, what is wrong with people :/
They buy a house by a canal and are shocked when canal boats turn up. 😳 Not all boaters are angels, though, so in some ways, I can understand. I wouldn't live next to moorings just out of respect for boaters. Take care. 👍
the bolts that attach the door on your cupboard screw into special fittings ,that do not show on the outside ,can be replaced ,,flaking paint ,one is paint is getting to many layers ,or weather hot ,cold ,rain ,frost can all play there part ,also remember your roof is metal ,it likes to expand and contract , paint with skin on the top, air getting at the paint causes paint to skin, easily solved ,make sure tin lid is firmly on ,and store upside down, the big thing is read the instructions on the tins

@@jandeville325 That's a great tip. 👍 Thank you. ❤️
Hello Will. I was sure it was the EGR valve, causing the light on mr van. Sorry for being wrong. Hope you find a fix soon.

I thought you were right as well. I'm sure I'll find it. Mr van is having a tantrum. 😂 🤣
Omg I am laughing my head off at the gofer yelling. I feel your pain 😂😂😂😂😂
That's how I feel after all the work. 😂 🤣 😆

Thanks again for your kindness.

You can use tape over the warning light, works for me
That might have to be the case. It's pretty common. 😂
And cheap🤣

Great vlog again Will 👍🏻 I love a good scrap yard 👍🏻 I cleaned my throttle body out that carbon 💩 goes everywhere I was covered in it 😩 🎧👊🏻👍🏻👍🏻

You need to double glaze your windows to prevent condensation and heat lost in your boat, lurrrr....
I do lurrr. I also need a large wallet to pay for them. 😂 🤣 😆

Cant you blank the erg with metal plate
You can buy a blanking plate but it still needs a working egr for the computer.
I will a another good vlog all the best for now 😊
