I remember when Lute took us to the Final 4. I lived in Hilcrest Dorm. We flooded the Pentacrest. Fran will NEVER bring that to Iowa. Nepotism is a real thing at Iowa
These may have legit been the worst refs I have ever seen. So many uncalled travels that broke our momentum, like blatant 5 steps, and they straight up missed multiple shoves, pushes, and hacks on Buie. Even the Iowa fans I was watching with agreed
@@CopperBlue28 one big difference, you could see iowa's fouls from 100 feet away, cherry picking one call where his foot was barely on the line is much different. don't act like you didn't get every call
@@bnglytEvery call? Fouls were 14-13 and FTs 16-9 in favor of NW until the two deliberate fouls to stop the clock at the end of the game. If Buie drives into the lane out of control looking for contact and throws his head back it doesn't necessarily mean there was a foul.
Wow, the refs really let Iowa get away with a lot in this game. And I think Northwestern only had one starter in the game. So, yes, Iowa won but it was basically against a bunch of second stringers.
Don't need to remind Iowa fans about injuries. Hawkeyes lost its best four players on the football team and still won 10 games, including @ NW. Injuries are part of the game.
Hawks are hot! 🔥

Sniffle.
But you probably agreed with the refs when the NW player stepped out of bounds and got a bucket but it wasn’t called?
@@CopperBlue28 The refs had a hard time focusing. I blame all of it on Northwestern style of play being out of synch with the modern era.

Iowa going to the dance. Must be sick of being at a woman's basketball school.

Injuries are a part of the game. Deal with it

To think this Iowa team lost at home to Michigan early in the season and it’s a big difference maker in the standings now.

Boo hoo
