@@brendammendozahinojosa7772 So happy for you I saw them years ago In Dublin when they got back together and it was good but different you're well able to see Tom was not in it 100% but then I saw them again last October in Prague and WoW what a show it was fantastic Tom voice is so much vibrant and Mark singing is so strong as well especially after what he went through, you will have fantastic time enjoy the show and let me know how was it if you like , so many great bands in 90s man I could just talk about this topic forever especially growing up with skaters and BMX riders . As a man who is 39 years old and grew up listening to these guys? First off, I am glad that Tom is back. If there was no Tom, there would be no Blink. Props to the guy who filled in though. I remember listening to these guys when I was 13 years old, I’m glad they have kept up the same sound throughout their entire career, such as other artist that I can name. I hope to one day, see them in concert. I am mad at myself for not seeing them previously. Thank you for uploading this and I look forward to seeing them one day. 😊
It’s funny I was 39 years old 2 weeks ago when you wrote this comment, I’ve since turned 40 (I don’t recommend it), and am basically in the same boat as you. I’ve also like metal music more, but Blink 182, all 3 of them are just amazing song writers. They have this ability to write music that is just so fucking catchy, over and over again, few humans have that ability.
I'm 31 & seeing them in Feb not the best time for me to be buying concert tickets but you know what you only live once .. I'm pumped to see them like you guys I've loved blink since I was 14/15 .. if they play this song I'm pretty sure my heart will stop 😂😅
@@IJustFiguredThisOut I am just now seeing your comment, and I’m glad that people agree at least. I am myself also more of a metalhead, I saw Hatebreed cannibal corpse, and dying fetus within the last three years or so, and I like metal more nowadays. But it brings me to the roots of starting to listen to rock style or punk style-ish music. I heard this way before I heard metal and I think the first heavy metal I heard was antichrist superstar by Marilyn Manson in 1997 😂 The first death metal song I ever heard in my life, was “praise the Lord opium of the masses” by dying fetus, and it was off of a mix compact disc that my friends and I were passing around. (2000) Then I expanded from there to slam, goregrind, etc. lol. Still? this is a band that I will actually travel to see and again? I’m very happy that other people are as psyched as I am. 🤘
@@ausreefguy5362 I hear you! I know a lot more of the older songs off the older albums, but this one? The music video is a throwback to an old Ramones music video. it seems to be the anthem for the newer generation, even though we are old men ha ha ha ha. I would love to see them play this, but I don’t know too many of their newer songs just a few. But it’s funny at our age? I bet we could probably recite a few albums from them. 😂 rock on man!
When I first heard this song, I thought it "meh, pretty by the numbers," but after seeing them play it live, I completely get it now. If you listen to Tom's interviews over the years, he says repeatedly it's never been about being the best guitarist or singer, but writing his own music & making it fun to perform at concerts. This really gives seems like a blast, and just having Blink back together writing/touring again is fantastic! Edit: I love that Mark still sounds great live. His voice always sounded good whether it be in the studio or at shows.
They’ve always said they essentially write nursery rhyme pop punk, but that’s their charm. And it’s incredibly catchy and easy to learn / sing along to
Yes it's absolutely live you can tell because Tom and Mark go out of key at certain points that isn't on the studio version. Tom in particular struggled to hit the full highs of ALL NIGHT LONG so it sounds more congested and like he's yelping rather than the raspy scream in studio. They sound damn good though flaws aside.

Tom in particular struggled to hit the full highs of ALL NIGHT LONG so it sounds more congested and like he's yelping rather than the raspy scream in studio. They sound damn good though flaws aside. The band uses a backing track and a little pitch correct in their microphones to keep their vocals going too far off. I personally don't mind this because they are getting older and it's still their own live vocals with imperfections. For years people complained that they sounded awful live. Tom in particular is really sensitive about this and just wants to give his fans a good show. I think this is a fair compromise. Also let's be real, this is pop punk and not classic music.
Any modern phone is going to be of a similar quality so long as you buy one and ensure you change the camera app settings to what you want (such as the best quality, but will use more storage space..) Most iPhone pro max users don’t realize they have settings, and they’re not the highest quality by default.
@@justinTime077 I’d add in the Samsung S23 Ultra for some of the best video camera settings. They’re also hidden like you said, but it’s capable of recording in 8k if you have enough storage.
Ah thank you I haven't done anything special with it as I'm a bit clueless with that sort of stuff 😂. It was just my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I have realised though that the better the lighting a band has on stage the better the quality and it always seems to struggle when the lighting is red or blue for some reason 🤷🏻♂
@@markhoppus609 of course, but they're other live videos where he does play the chords, and the opening riff without backtracking. I guess they figured it out it needed the two guitars
As a person who has played live many times, it’s called a backing track, here they have a Electric Guitar Player (Tom, a bass player (Mark), and the drummer Travis. He's definitely playing. Seems in some parts he's playing more of a background melody rather than the actual rhythm/power chords. There's more guitars in this song than just one man can play alone so for sure they had to use a backing track for some of it.
The world is so much better when these 3 guys are together
This is an instant classic
It's not very often a new song from a band gets this great of a crowd. Just shows how great their comeback is going.

Dave Grohl does it a lot, Jimi Hendrix did too
