- Rob nailed the blind basketball shot on the first take... but Taylor didn't hit record. Took him another couple tries to do it again.
The release of FOCUS (1994) marks a next evolution in the Momentum era, with a bit more lifestyle, skits and stunts added to the high-octane surf action. You can also see the evolution in the surfing as the surfers gain confidence on the world stage.

Wen I was 12 I watched this and studied focus for 4 yrs and it helped me out surf all of my freinds .once before school ,twice before bed . I would do a lay back and instantly think that was similar to Taylor Knox layback in focus . √ .rad times rock on these clips !

So much nostalgia. I probably watched FOCUS as a teenager more than my next top 5 watched movies (Surf, Major Motion Picture) combined.
Did anyone else think they heard "licking your balls" instead of "nuclear wars" in the song? It wasnt till Google years later could I clear that up!🤣

Rob also has his foundation too. He supplies Cardiff with rubbish bins on the beach. He also puts drinking water purification systems in the schools in the Encinitas School District and supplied reusable water bottles for the students to use. He's more than a great surfer folks :)

What size boards did he have here? Approximately. I wanna surf with those long thin narrow boards like they did in the 90s it looks way more agressive and more rail surfing
