ABSOLUTELY not don't buy into this butterfly pull ups . You won't gain nothing because it's a very bad technique. So just do regular pull ups with good form it's better to do quality instead of quantity like these butterflys. 🤓🥊
I kinda feel like they make sense tho... It's part row, and you fully contract at the perfect point to hit lats, and it's an aerobic action aswell.. I'm very serious. Sure they look funny, but... I really do feel like these things are a very very valid iteration of the standard pull up. Shrugs 🤷🏻♂️..
What I find funny about u haters is that u always criticize without knowing. High level athletes do manage gymnastics strict skills and also, if u ask a gymnast, they find actually interesting how this form is executed and maintaned through time. It's about strenght, grip capacity and good cohordination. Not easy at all and not a skill for everybody especially when it comes to chest to bar. Also, u should ask? Why do u do this? Every sport has its version of a movement and there is always a reason.
This pull up is so effective that it's literally *back breaking*
These vids make most sense of all. Thank you.
I caught a fish that did this.
i wish i was funny like you
@@urlost355 don't worry, just keep practicing. 😄

@@elliottsantiago1638 they’re not an alternative to strict pull-ups. It’s a different movement and skill. Stop bashing it.
@@andersemil5541 yeah they're not an alternate to pull-ups because they tear your rotator cuff 😂
Thanks!
Very welcome!

The amount of hate people give this movement in the world lol😂
I like how CrossShit now calls the butterfly pull-ups lmao Now do a real pull up and see how many you get
I can do 36 strict pull-ups in a row without a form break, how many can you do?

The exercise you do if you want to brag that you did x amount of pull ups. While its not optimal for anything else
