I think that Lucas is the kind of person who needs a little ekstra time to get ready for unknown situations. So he lets Savannah go first, so he kind of know what to expect. But yes, he is a great brother. And she is a great sister. And not only to eachother, but to all their siblings. They have been helping out with Aurora since day one.
Lucas is a good brother. I like the way he went after Ariana to protect Savannah when she smashed the cupcake in Savannah’s face on her birthday. Poor Savannah went through getting her special makeup on to make her feel special on her birthday. I couldn’t believe how cruel that cupcake in her face was. Good for you Lucas!!! What about just calling them on their phone? I mean the younger kids don't have them, but Lucas has one right? And I imagine a kid his age takes his phone everywhere🤷🏽♀️
A dogs ear canal is almost L shaped and water can’t drain properly especially in dogs with floppy ears and it causes an infection due to them scratching at it. I had a dog growing up that this would happen to regularly as his ears flopped over so the water would get trapped and not drain. He had to have drops in his ears to clear it up and we had to be super careful when he was around water so it didn’t get in his ears but he still managed it a lot.
hello, Vet tech here! for dogs like Maddy who have floppy ears and who swim often get regular ear infections. make sure to dry inside her ears after she gets out of the pool.
And as long as she has meds, don't let her in the pool. I'm not a vet tech, but that is what I would recommend. My dog has had ear infections the first 4 years from his life. The vet I was with at that time recommend the wrong medication the first 2 years. It helped but it came back and that for years. After sending some ear wax to a lab they found out he had 2 bacteria in his ear and the stuff they gave us just attack 1 bacteria. Luckily we found the solution. But we are with a different vet now. I live in the Netherlands.

It's crazy how I can't even imagine your family without Lucas and Savannah, and it's only been a little over a year since they came?! I watched your videos way before then, but even though I did, seeing older videos when they weren't part of your family yet feels strange, like something is clearly missing back then. Since Maddie likes to swim you need a ear wash that has a drying agent in to to dry out any water after she swims. This will help prevent ear infections which are common for dogs that like to swim.

Once maddies ears are clear of the infection. Get a squeeze bottle and put half water and half apple cider vinegar in it. Every Saturday morning squeeze in both ears. Our vet didn’t tell us but we met a vet that was a homeschool mom and she told us to do the vinegar and water every week and we never had another infection in our dogs ears. We had been having them all the time.

I have the exact same part as Savannah and Lucas with the age-related macular degeneration. It’s nothing too bad to worry about, it usually doesn’t kick in until late 50s anyway, I’m a carer and have looked after a lady with it and she still lived a full life until she was 75, she only deteriorated due to other illnesses so please don’t panic! I would keep zymox on hand for the future! My dog gets ear infections often especially after playing in water. Zymox works wonders and is over the counter on chewy and Amazon as well!
