Ariana finally gets her 23 and me DNA test results back and they are shocking and she found her birth Mom! She gets very emotional learning about her heritage and where her ancestors are from. Her reaction to her DNA test results are priceless and then we get to make a phone call to her birth Mom!!!

Her biological mother really is a strong person! Acknowledging her shortcomings, and selflessly taking the best route of action for her children, is incredible.
You're right. I'm sure a lot of people look down on her, but considering everything we know, she did what was best for her kids, that's not being selfish, that's what parents are supposed to do!!

I knew about alcoholism when I was an elementary school kid. I told my cousins their mom was an alcoholic, she drank at least a 12 pack a day and just laid around their small farm and grew flowers. I had to explain it to them.

Ariana's tears just about ripped my heart out. Her birth mama did the best she could and certainly the right thing for her children. God Bless you sweet Ariana and God bless Aaron and Crystal.
Sobriety would have been the best she could do, but it’s nice she got there and now can have a relationship with Ariana.

This brought me to tears. I couldn't imagine being in the position where I had to give my little girl up. I pray they can heal from that. You guys are amazing for getting these kids a loving home. I would be bawling seeing my beautiful little girl with tears in her eyes. She is an amazing, beautiful young lady i hate that she questions if her Mom loves her.

Ok this has encouraged me to not be afraid and finally take my DNA test! Unfortunately my birth mom cut off contact with me when I was 18 for some reason. I keep reaching out but I get no response. Anyways this was beautiful❤️ you’re so brave and strong and beautiful Ariana!❤️

When the phone call is getting ready to end and the biological mom has the chance to say I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART, But instead said LATER? Then I sat and thought maybe she was in shock, embarrassed, then I realized she was adopted her mom died early. She never had the love of a mom to give her child. It's not until you get older do you realize mom is everything❤❤❤
Amazing that her bio mom did the selfless thing and gave Ariana the best chance at a great life, which she knew she couldn't provide at that time... and look where Ariana ended up! In the absolute most happy and positive family possible!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Reyof ; 90% of the African slave trade went to Latin America, so her mix is common in Latin America. Part of my family is Cuban with a similar mix...about the same proportions with slightly less Native.

T Salon, She has all three heritage. So I wouldn’t say she’s primarily European and African. Since her DNA test shows she’s 11% Native American. She’s tri-racial in terms of her DNA.

Krystal and Aaron, you are fantastic parents with a very big heart. I love seeing the relationship you have with your adoptive children. You are a very close knitted family.
My sister adopted a infant baby boy 41 years ago. She and her husband were unable to get pregnant for several years. After getting her adoptive son, she got pregnant. In less than a year she had her other son. Their was definitely a difference in the way they were treated. Her oldest son had a disability like my sons'. At the age of 8 or so, when I talked to him on the phone because we lived out of state, he always asked to come to live with us. I got help for my son and he was wanting me to help him. I told him I would love to help him but he had to talk to his parents. My sister and I spoke about it and I told her what she could do to help him with his learning disability. She never did and when he was in high school, she tried again and by that time he was so far behind and decided to drop out of school.
I admire your dedication to your children but unfortunately not all adoptees get the very best of parents. My sister and husband drank a lot and their situation has caused a rift in their family.
Your children are very fortunate to have you both in their lives. Keep loving them for who they are, because they come with baggage and from what I have seen, you have helped them get situated and they have overcome so much. Love to all the Crazy Pieces.

Adoption, surrogacy and just so much love! Your channel and family just give my heart such peace and i know that however my family comes to be, it will be full of love and i will rejoice in every minute of it!

Speaking to her mom had completely satisfied her sole and she can be a happier person from this day forward. So glad for these answers. Just remember not all the hard topics need to be answered right away, it's important to be honest and talk about them. You may need to get to know your birth mom for who she is now and take some time to feel comfortable.

I'm so glad Ariana got to talk to her mother and I hope a relationship can bloom with her mom and two siblings if that's what Ariana wants. Ariana is such an awesome young lady. :) What a great job you guys have done as parents. It's so great that she her mother and grandmother were listed. My best friend was adopted and she is currently searching for her father. They never knew who he was, so she's using 23&me and ancestry to try and locate him, but she only has a bunch of cousins listed. She's getting closer to finding him though. Man. DNA kits are such great tools. :) Ariana I just want to give you a big hug! You're such a strong young lady.
Ariana, there’s going to be many trial and error moments when involving your bio mom into your life, but she’s on a great path and it’s amazing you were able to talk with her! Don’t ever think you can’t say no to your mom’s want for a relationship when you’re not ready either ok? You are in total control over whether or not you want her to be involved and even if it’s just a hi very briefly once in awhile is totally ok too! Ariana’s bio mom knows that it can be confusing sorting out your feelings but the beauty is there’s zero timelines. We are all standing with you! It was super endearing to hear you call her mom from the get-go and I can promise you absolutely made her day!
Beautiful what Crystal and Aaron do for their children. LOVE they protect them and do everything they can to connect them to their lineage.
Her biological mum is really strong! This for sure was the hardest decision she could've make and I'm glad she did. Ariana is safe and with a loving family and hopefully her siblings too. I'm really happy that her bio mum is sober and working on herself cause addition is really hard to overcome. Thankfully Crystal and Aaron are great parents. They are loving, caring and they put the kids needs first. Not all adoptive parents would've done the same. It's incredible that it means so much to you that your kids have a relationship with their biological family and that you can give them closure.

I know I LOVE that about them. They truly want the best for all their kids, knowing where they're from, knowing who their birth parents are and wanting them to have a relationship with them if they want that. They don't look at it as a threat they just want the best for them. I just can't get over how amazing parents these two are. They are diamonds in the rough.

That was a tough conversation! I am also adopted as well as being a birth mom. I chose to place my baby at birth, and cannot wait until he's old enough to decide if he wants to meet me or not, I'm excited! I'm sure he will have many questions as well. I'm proud of her bio mom for her sobriety, and felt that Ariana handled herself very maturely through the conversation! I'm sure she will have so many more questions that she should maybe write down and ask once she feels more comfortable talking to her.
