Glad you like it! It was inspired primarily by Purple Motion's tune "Starshine" and was done purely for fun back in 1997. I did submit it to a few online music compos, though, and it got used in a 3D benchmark and some obscure demos.
That was YOU?? AWESOME!! I found a little success back in the tracker days, but my magnum opus doesn't hold a candle to than and its amazing key changes and big, fat chords!
Is it alright that i can take permission for your amazing music to be used on my mod, the Kickass Keygen Music mod? I fucking adore your music so much, and I want to put it in a boss battle or something like that.
Yup. Hard for me to believe I was half my current age when I wrote it. It's crazy to see how much faster time seems to fly by as you get older. Thanks again!
You ever just randomly feel like comming back to a music you haven't listenned to in years? I used to listen to this non-stop back in the days. It is dear to me. Will always be.
WHOOPS! As the composer of this music, I hereby declare it to be retroactively about Ponies. The "Celestial" in the title now refers specifically to Princess Celestia. Argument nullified!
When I heard this music, I imagined it being played to a battle scene between a futuristic Knight (not Earth, more like space kingdom) fighting a villain overlord from another galaxy. The Knight has a sword that is supposed to turn the tide of the war, but only if the knight proves his worth, and just as he is about to give his life trying, the sword activates, and gives him strength and power ^w^ 3:48 he levels up and the sword ignites, He-Man/Thundercat style
Fox, this is a magnum opus. Ancient or not, here and now it is truly epic and will always be one of my all time favorites. Thank you so much for all your time and effort producing this harmonic delight.
Thanks - glad you enjoy it! I have no professional aspirations when it comes to music, but I do continue to write as an occasional hobby. It makes me happy to see when people appreciate my work.
I got into tracker music when I was in middle school, and this was one of the first tracks that I fell in love with. I actually burned this song to a cd along with a few others so i could listen to it on my cd walkman. Today, I was thinking about the song and decided to search UA-cam on a whim. Imagine my surprise and delight to find it on here! Edit: Can someone tell me what pony related thing brought people to this? I am a brony yet into this song for completely unrelated reasons!
Personally I was in Demoscene from the 90s, so it's only logical. It's a typical story. More rare when some young people find it and drop in love with it, so they go further and research and search for more. For me it's always there. I mean I still have contact with people from Demoscene and chiptune scene after all those years, while with people from school and universitites we are not in contact at all.
The pony thing you mentioned is probably a YTPMV of this song featuring My Little Pony samples called "Celestia's Fantasia" by AleatoireMixes. It's a classic.
@@TheBeatfox The man himself. You did an insane job with this song, I still find myself listening to this tune almost daily (and I discovered it around the time Celestia's Fantasia came out!). I want to try putting my own spin on it some day.

Stumbled across it in a different playlist and was like "ah, another example of a Tracker file not sounding like how I remember it at all" until I got to 4:48. That's more like I remember. :D
Thanks! And it's fine to take breaks from a hobby, or even move away from it completely if it's not something you're satisfied with. Your youth is the best time to try out lots of different things and see what sticks and what doesn't.
Long ago a young hero was sent to earth to destroy it, but as a young boy hit his head and forgot his mission to wipe the entire human race, that child from a proud race called the saiyans would later become the saviour of planet earth

Really nice song man! You remind like an older version of me hehe. I started writing songs when I was a bit younger. I'm still young at the moment but it's been a while since I've been making my songs, heh.
Ok, so if you wrote that comment now in 2013 and you completed the song in 1997 according to records.
