Makes me sad that a lot of Virt's tracks are hard to find, seems he did not release a lot of them officially? I can't find anywhere you can listen to this track aside from here. His Bandcamp is missing a lot of amazing chip tunes (Lorem Chipsum, Flowerguy's Pool Party, FX, FX2.0, etc.)
man i REALLY want a rock cover of this masterpiece BADLY (i know the non chip version has some of it, but I'm not the biggest fan of the lyrical approach..), it has so many parts that begs to be shredded on an electric guitar!
Bcutter fear has mastered the use of arpeggios. That's his technique in music, and it has served him well. Other than that, he remains pretty minimalist with basic waves. Vert is just a few steps above him in complexity, which may explain why it sounds "better". Just a thought.
Somebody who knows how to use MMD ought to make a video of Miku performing on a stage for the original. Backdrop should be something like Greek ruins with a starry evening sky in the background. (Besides when you can't understand the words, the lyrics to this makes about as much sense as most other MMD vids.) This version is alright, but I still like the orginal better.
