I will never understand why people don't just follow the same rules as if your driving while walking. No you don't want actual walking laws, that's ridiculous. But just a common known custom to walk on the right side. (left, depending on the country, whatever) Not every person is going to follow this, but if we could get MOST people to sort of do it, I think the benefit will be clear and it will be the norm but there's no public discussion or public marketing thing to try and get that ball rolling.
